II'd go with Gravity Well III, especially if you want to use a torpedo and a beam type other than Polaron or Tetryon.

Pure Exotic builds are pretty effective in pve. If your interested in seeing some high level sci builds that are capable of large dps check out my youtube channel. Ive got multiple science ship videos showing exotic builds doing good numbers.

Grav wells can cause some headaches fighting the tzenchi's if it pulls in too many cruisers and they start looping the immunity ability.

These days I favour the combination of a phaser-based shield drain and fire-cycle haste build. The quantum phase torp and beam array are key to the design and a starship trait you can buy off the Exchange called; Pilfered Power feeds into the firing cycle haste aspect until you can get a couple of items from playing Beyond the Nexus. Atop of that, the Prolonged Engagment Phaser you can get for 3 weekend vouchers in the apt store of Event Reputation neatly fits in with it all.

Whatever build you go with, I just hope you enjoy yourself...
