TAILOR OPTION

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
HI,i have a request..
I like to create a ALIEN CHARACTER...but when i create many option don t be active...TAIL first...exist a possibility to unlock this option?
other....i like to have possibility to use ,my bridge officer costume for ever BOF...example...the KHAN costume...or every type of strange armor...Tzentekhi armor(the loby store armor)dont have a possibility to use for BOF...why?

    Tails are only an option for caitian and ferasans, and do not unlock. Khan outfit is off duty, so cant be used on boffs. some lobi costumes are bugged. The Hirogen armor can be used by the boffs, while currently the tzenkethi cant.

    Speaking of tailor options, why are the Caitians/Ferasans so limited in fur colour? The other races don't have that restriction on their hair.

    Skintone and eye colour restrictions is understandable, but fur should be as unrestricted as hair.

    There should just be more freedom on the tailor period. No additional content necessary; just tear down the walls.

    to tell the truth 'I saw in play many characters with the tail and were aliens, not ferasan or caitian.then the options are two ... or those who move those characters, are programmers and therefore know how to do, or there is a way to unlock certain tailor options.
    As for the armor, I do not understand why that Tzentheki, does not work on brige officer, while all the old ones work. Armor of Khan even in this case you do not understand why being an armor is not usable on bridge officers ... as I said in my opinion, it would be better to unlock all types of bridge officer clothing,
    Sorry but as I said, I enjoy creating aliens ..... and I find it impossible that in the galaxy there are only caitiani and ferasan provided with tail ... or provided with other options that the current tailor does not have.

    Yeah, those aliens you saw used a tailor bug to get the tail. That bug was fixed and if they go back then they will lose their tails.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Caitians and Ferasans are priced races, so you need to pay for them. I am pretty certain that that will always limit options at the tailor to recreate them with alien gen. Granted, you can allow for tails without allowing for fur, and tails can look quite different, but as it stands, it's a unique selling point to them.

    This is true, however once a person pays to unlock said race, the options from that race should unlock for their aliengens.​​

    Which is eactly why they need more customization options since they are really quite limited as it is.

    The tailor is full or arbitrary restrictions that should be removed.

    And parts for premium races (like tails) should unlock for use with custom aliens after being purchased, it would increase sales.

    I agree with warpangel. The restrictions should be removed. And the tails should unlock for customization after purchasing the character.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

    Give me more canon alien facial options (*coughs* Vaadwaur *coughs*) and i'll be happy...

    I mean, why not? We already have options to create 100% accurate Hierarchy and Reman aliengen BOFFs. Why dont we just get access to every humanoid facial option?

    I had to buy the Ferasan species just so I could get more options for my Caitian despite the unique colours not being a part of the unlocks which disappointed me, the idea of paying yet another 500 to add more options sounds displeasing to me.

    I wouldn't mind getting the features added to Aliens if you own the race in question. I already have every playable race bought, so it would be nice to get use out of the features even when not using the race itself.

    I'd imagine the Caitian Boffs you get from the ESD Officer Store wouldn't count, though.

    If this has not been adressed before but = I just want to be able to change clothes on the Andrea and Leeta androids or any member of my crew no matter where they are from
