    when the launcher server status button turn from red to green, that will be the time, i guess ;)

    Doesn't this happen, briefly or in spurts, during these bigger STO events. I'm sure Cryptic will handle this in their normal way & eventually it will get repaired to where we can enjoy STO again. If it benefits players squash it immediately otherwise Cryptic will get around to it if not ignore it completely.

    for the love of god can't they even get the first couple hours of an event to run correctly

    I was litterally just completing the last part of the Mission: Mindscape when my screen froze. The worst thing that will happen is I re-fight the last battle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
