Its pretty much a guarantee at this point that we WILL get Discovery content. When is still a mystery.
I'd like to discuss potential abilities that we may see in any Discovery ships that are released for us to use. I'm not gonna try and mock up any stats for any ships, but discuss special console and even specialization seating for each design.
Crossfield Class (USS Discovery)
Based on what little I know (having only seen 3 episodes) I feel that Intel may be a good fit for the Crossfield class due to the secretive nature of Discovery's research, as well as the black badges we saw some security wearing. Also I would classify her as a Cruiser. She's got the size for it.
For her console, maybe a Spore Drive console that allows for jumping around the map kinda like the Subspace Jumper, with a passive buff to engines and turn rate at least.
Walker Class (USS Shenzhou)
This one for me is a bit harder to classify. As the Walker class was an older design, maybe Miracle Worker, especially after seeing how the emergency forcefields worked with almost recreating the portions of the hull that were missing rather than just sealing off those sections like we've seen in the past. Again, Cruiser may be a good fit for the Walker class, although her capability of entering atmospheres and the location of her bridge might indicate more of a Science lean (ala Planetary Survey Ship). For her console... I honestly don't know what would work, but with a passive buff to HP and maybe even healing and/or hull regen.
Sarcoffagus ship
Definitely a Cruiser, maybe even a Dreadnaught Cruiser that could give the KDF their own version of the Vengeance. That thing is huge! I'd probaby give her Command seating due to the fact she was T'Kuvma's flagship, and it has quite the presence. Special Console... maybe something to do with Tractor Beams, like be able to hold up to three ships rather than the one we normally can, with a passive to stealth as she did have a cloak that caught the Shenzhou by surprise.
Cryptic designed Romulan ship
As seeing Romulans is pretty much never gonna happen as in canon we don't see any until TOS episode "Balance of Terror", Cryptic's got free reign on this, but I can see something like an immediate predessesor to the T'liss. Maybe a Pilot ship if they go that route.
I'd like to hear some other people's ideas on this too.
Please keep it civil and not bring any pitchforks over the discussed topic.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

IIRC in lore Walker is suppose to be scout ship so that would make her an escort or escort like science ship (like the second lukari ship)
that ship definetly seems Dreadnaught material seeing as it's bigger then any other canon klingon ship of the era
this will be intresting as romulans of this era had fusion powerplants(simply impulse power as Scotty called it) rather then M/AM warpcores or singularity cores, there's of course the issue that we know nothing of the romulan ships of this era the T'varo was from 2150s and first sighting of the T'liss (well any romulan ship since formation of UFP) is from
2260s leaving the 2250s a total blank as far the Star Empire is conserned.
Interesting....
Yup. And the KDF does need its own Vengeance IMO.
Very true. Just like the time period between the launch of the Ent-B up to the start of TNG is a total blank for everyone.

It also doesn't make sense for the Romulans to only have impuse as how did the BoP get from Romulan space to Federation space?
as I said the best logical explanation is that "simple impulse power" refers to the power plant of the warp engines and does not mean "romulans had no warp drive".
There's also mention of the Earth-Romulan War being fought with Nuclear weapons, when we saw energy based and photonic torpedos.
Then again Star Trek Legacy covered the nuclear by luring Romulan ships close to older, fusion powered Vulcan mining stations. Apparently 22nd Century Romulan ships weren't EM shielded, unlike Starfleet ships. So nuclear detonations disabled Romulans!
While speculation, it seems extraordinarily unlikely that the Romulan War could have even taken place without them having some method of FTL transport. (Granted, that doesn't expressly mean Warp Drives - they could have experimented with singularities as a form of wormhole-gating.. with an undoubtedly high attrition rate that led them into repurposing the tech as a power source for the safer warp drives they fought against instead.)

If they make some sort of training manual for boffs to become hybrids of the main 3 careers, I wouldn't be surprised if they put a Commander Science/Engineering hybrid seating on Discovery.
Cryptic struggled with the transform mechanic on the Dyson Destroyers. We haven't seen that since. The only hybrid seats are career/specialization.
I could see that. Plus the ship kinda looks like it was designed to be carried by another ship. I'm sure they are cheaper to build w/o warp drives so you could make a bunch, drop them close to a target and then let them sneak in and blast the TRIBBLE out of things. But not exactly the ship you want to be assigned to if things go bad and you got no way to escape.

Idk what they can do with the others, but I would absolutely buy the Yeager and whatever ship that flies in at 1:01. To me the Yeager/Cardenas class looks more like a regular cruiser while the latter looks more like a battlecruiser.
If these come out sooner than expected, they'll most likely have Miracle Worker seatings. I can see Discovery being lockbox and Shenzhou being lobi, each having two spec seats. Maybe I'm wrong and we see them as C-Store ships with one spec seating. Not quite sure how popular Discovery is to the STO playerbase. They might make them easier to acquire just to try and push the new show. I dunno, honestly.
A jump console can easily mimic this on the Crossfield if it ever comes to STO

Maybe the Spore Drive Console should also cause AoE damage when the ship jumps?
It would be interesting as a mechanic

Since the Crossfield Class is a 23rd century ship, I would expect it to be some kind of lockbox, promo or lobi ship. But in case it isn't:
