Been out of the game for a few months, will I still have my stuff?

Yeah, I had a hard drive crash in the midst of some financial difficulties and had to take several months off to take cate of someif things. I was wondering if, when I return to the game, I will still have all my gear and such. (I've been out since about 4 days after the start of he Summer event).
Also, I should get the Arbiter when I get back, shouldn't I?!?!?!

Thank you.

Yes, you should have your stuff. No ransoming of your captain's data for this game, even if it were years ago that you last played.

I'd assume PWE finds it inexpensive to hold you data for months/years in the hopes you come back and give them more money! Cause lets face it, if you spent hundreds of dollars in the game and came back 4 months later to nothing, the chances of you starting fresh is pretty slim! I know I'd uninstall and never come back if that happened!

And yes, the Arbiter is a very nice ride. But my constant advice is to wait for a sale. Zen sale and ship sale. Unless you got more disposable income than you know what to do with... in which case; you can be my new bestest friend! :D

Plus with the TNG Anniversary coming up very soon, we all might get a new toy or two to keep us entertained for awhile. Or maybe not. Either way patience is a virtue and can save you some $ in STO.

Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

May, but probably won't. I've not heard of anyone actually loosing their account for STO after having been gone a year or longer. Players that left before the PWE transition have to talk to support to get their account hooked up to a Arc login, but even they still got their stuff back.

I think this is more Cryptic covering their bases in case there's ever a reason to prune inactive accounts then a statement of "if your account is inactive for 12 months or more it goes bye bye".

the terms of service have a certain amount of legal language that are there to prevent PWE/Cryptic from getting needlessly sued over things that they needed to do.

Whew... Good to know. Been out since summer 2015. Downloading the 16Gb patch file now and would hate to log into a newbie account.
