Which Discovery ships, costume options, or races do you want in STO? My personal picks are:

It's really not that hard to see where they got the idea of that headgear from.

I wouldn't mind seeing that one guy's race (the alien First Officer, I think - haven't seen more than bits and pieces since I don't have CBS All Access) added...

Actually, there's almost enough ships alone for a Discovery Lock Box; Discovery's class as the big prize, Shenzhou's as the secondary ship, the four-nacelled one in the Lobi store... would just need weapons, kit modules and other sundry items to fill it out...

It's not hard to see where they got a lot of ideas from...nothing at all original about the show other than instead of following a crew it chose to follow a single person, the worst person in the show.

They should add whatever they can get their hands on.
Any of the ships, character-cosmetics, outfits and equipment, also kelpians and space-whales.

Discovery should be under the licance since its prime universe..........

I want the Shenzhou along with its blue phasers and bridge the most. I wouldn't mind getting the other Fed ships that appeared at the Battle at the Binary Stars. The Klingon armor and EV suit would be nice as well.

I wouldn't mind... EVERYTHING! ALL THE THINGS!
If we don't get Discovery weapons when we get the ships... Kelvin Phasers are probably gonna go up in price as they're a close second. At least the pistol and the emitter arrays are.

Personally I don't really like all those head tech pieces. Most of them look way too big for something that's supposed to be more than 150 years ahead of current day technology. Also looks really uncomfortable.

If it makes others happy though, sure add them. Why not?

I would also like to see those Androids and Saru's species in STO. And there is a great opportunity for a new ground combat pet of course ;)

Oh and finally - I really like how Picard keeps waving at me. We've been doing this for 5 minutes now and he still hasn't had enough of it.

Want, want, want.....jeez, give Cryptic time to acquire the licence first!

Cryptic has free reign with anything licensed by CBS. That means Nemesis back through (chronologically) Enterprise. Discovery is licensed by CBS. All Cryptic needs is the go ahead and somewhere to put it. The only thing that took a while, besides the Vesta, is Kelvlin Timeline stuff, as that is the realm of Paramount.

But, will it take place in the current timeline or be another "Time Travel" adventure?

Hmmm let's point out some few things. Cyborgs nope not TOS Timeline. The only thing even close The Sensor Dress in "There is no Truth in Be@uty". Hum@nnoid Robots hmmm only two both @lien constructs Mudds Women plus the ones th@t replic@ted Ch@pells lover. So is TRIBBLE TOS timeline NO it is however more KT timeline.

Discovery, beign set 10 years before TOS, would have the same problem. There is no logical, or believable way, for anything that happens in Discovery to matter in STO, as everything would have been resolved before TNG rolled around. Daniels calling us up to help fix the timestream again in a one off mission is the more likely option.

Personally, I'm thinking someone tries to start new experiments with Spore Drive technology, claiming it to be a step above transwarp since it doesn't need conduits or gateways, and it massively backfires.

Though, as I've said elsewhere, we've got good makings for a Discovery Lock Box; Discovery's class of ship as the grand prize, Shenzhou's class of ship in the Lobi store, the Admiral's four-nacelled ship for a 'secondary' prize ship, 'Lorca Manuver' console (random teleport with destruction of small craft and targetable projectiles near the start point), the tactical vest for a Lobi costume, plenty of Discovery Phasers both space and ground...

That would have to wait until either discovery is over, or the spore drive plotline in discovery is over, so Cryptic can actually deal with it themselves in a way that isn't later contradicted by Discovery.

Technically we already know the overall outcome of the Spore Drive. As we don't see it anywhere in the fleet... the end result of the research is most likely failure of some kind and Starfleet backed off on persuing that line of research in favor of more traditional FTL methods. We just don't know HOW it failed.

And if the Spore Drive was used for DIS-related game content, it wouldn't be the first time (STO-wise) Starfleet has gone back to a 'failed' experiment based on new data. Transwarp drive, for example, was considered a failure until Borg technology and information on Transwarp were acquired and the project was revisited.

Personally, I find the biology/botany/physics all-related part of the Spore Drive concept fascinating, so maybe that biases me towards wanting to see it in-game, I'll admit.

There is no certainty that the Transwarp Drive from TMP Era is the same as the Transwarp Drive introduced in TNG. All we know is that the Transwarp Drive from TMP Era is supposed to be better than Warp Drives not how it works. A possible reason why the Spore Drive is no longer used is that the Spore Network is destroyed or further use of it will destroy the galaxy.

I hate discovery but I would love to see them add that suit Mudd was wearing, that was really funny. :p
