the blue tech shield armor!

robert#4620 robert Member Posts: 129 Arc User
In the Sompek mission I saw another player's character had solid plates of blue energy all around their body that made her look like she had a Mass Effect Tech Shield; it would appear randomly through out the mission.

Just wondering, where and how can I get that Tech Armor?

It wasn't the pieces from the tailor that I think you're referring to. The blue pieces appeared randomly in combat and there were at times it would be appear on my character (as if it were an item to buff other players) when we dealt with multiple waves in the Sompek mission.

I have a screen shot that best describes my comment, however I have no idea how to post it.

There are a couple armor kit modules, Scarab?, that give an holo-armor appearance

It sounds like you're describing one of the Command Spec abilities. I can't say for sure which one as I haven't looked at Command stuff in a long while. My guess is if you do some searching for some of those abilities, you'll find the one you're looking for.

    THANKS!

The link does not state how to gain that skill.

Is it possible to link me to a walk through on how to do so?

Training in command specialization allows one to buy the modules - if you train a bridge officer in the specialization (look for a qualification manual) you can then use training manuals to give them the skills; bridge officer trainers and the exchange for those.

I have it on a tac too, it's a solid group buff and I think it looks neat.
