Where is the most visually stunning area in game? Preferably where you can go anytime, not just on mission. Thank you.

I'd explore the social and ground battlezones - there's a lot of nice looking set-pieces.

    First City.

    Love that place.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

Agreed with the ones mentioned. Also the forest on Defera outside the city (not in the Invasion Zone, in the other one you can beam to - Visitor Center, I believe) has some nice visuals and views off to the distance.

I like New Romulus. I go there to farm Dil when I do not feel like engaging in combat.

The fleet mine sector map is the single most stunning place for me... I go there and simply drink coffee sometimes just watching the environmental happenings while I do my work.....

I keep thinking to myself if Cryptic ever made desktop animation files (Stardock used to have such a system which showed a video for your desktop) of such places and sold them with different themes they would likely make some good change... I would love to see a scene like that would different ships warping in docking and leaving some time later...

Risa and New Romulus. Nothing here can compare to the areas of Middle Earth in Lord of the Rings Online, however. I can still picture those places in my mind almost four years after I played regularly.

Duuuude if they could do that with people milling about and starships coming and going from ESD as seen from back around the transporter pad, they could just shut up and take my money.

If they could somehow import the worlds seen in Neverwinter, oh, you'd be in for a treat, folks. o:)

Me too... I was an original customer of SD when Brad first started the company right out of uni and we communicated via BBS back in the day.

No doubt... I can think of at least dozen such locations which I believe would generate good money for Cryptic outside of actual game play...

I hope this doesn't count as a Necro, the new Melting Pot featured episode takes you to Dranuur, which is quite gorgeous. Good job there.
