Is STO not working on Xbox?????

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
I cant log in and play on my xbox1...
However, i can log in and play every other game on Xbox1....

So, im thinking STO/XBOX is down???
When STO is down on xbox, is there a go to where i can find out without having to ask, like I have now?

    Its working fine on mine. Does the game load up? Or does it get stuck at "waiting for shard provider (which takes 30-45 seconds on mine....very poor connection to shard)"? I will say the game takes a long time to connect, and its a known issue, all you have do is give it a few minutes to connect up and get you to the character select screen. Oh, and the game has become very crashy after the last patch. Try deleting the local cache and restart the game.

    i cant even start to log in... It loads up to my character page. It shows me my characters, then before i can select a character it crashes and kicks me back to my xbox home screen.... It has done this since Thursday night... Can not under any circumstance get past the character selection page.... But i can play every other game online just fine, without so much as a hiccup in my giddyup

    Follow up....I finally got it to work. I tried to clear cache, but had no affect. So, i uninstalled the game (only) on xbox1, then cleared cache again and reinstalled. This took upwards of 45mins, but im back in action.....

    Now.... Im gettin ready to take all my frustrations out on that hideous looking borg queen... If you see a pointed eared rumulan bombing everything that moves in "Borg Disconnect" dats me!

    I'd be more surprised to see a Rom without pointed ears... :smile:

    That only clears the immediate RAM. We are talking about clearing the games saved files on your end. To do this, you need to press the select button (that opens the little grey menu), and click "manage game". You can alo do this by going to the game in "games and apps", then clicking the select button. This will bring you to the games own setup on the dashboard, and you need to delete any saved files you have locally for the game. Don't worry - this file merely contains some of your local settings, so it will reset everything you set in options to "default". Once you restart the game, you will then need to go back into options and redo these local settings.
