I don't use the Klingon Dictionary to name my ships...I just create 'Klingon-sounding' names.

    IKS Vek'na
    IKS Kar'tog
    IKS Klothor
    IKS Dro'vaga
    IKS K'vok
    IKS Vor'dag
    IKS Mor'qla
    IKS Dra'vang

    adding my current ship names

    Ta'kog
    Ne'kron

    Dub'Hos - "Strong Back", in various permutations a D9, Bortas'qu and Vo'quv.

    Qul'Puq - "Fire Child" (D7 cruiser)

Both, embarassingly, names coined 25 years ago for my FASA RPG characters and now retained by their STO incarnations. Then, for good humour, there's the Korath-class IKS K'pal'diH.

Well, my main ship is Targ Rop'Hey. Closest to 'rabid dog' in the Klingon language.

I fly the IKS Lok'tar Ogar; as a long time WoWer I find Klingon and Orcish sound quite similar.
It means "victory or death" and it's also very descriptive of the BoP playstyle! :D

I usually just go with something either Klingon-sounding or hit random until I see something I like. That's how I got the IKS Tonrur and IKS Dlahath. Two ships I did name deliberately though: My Bortasqu', the flagship of all my KDF characters, is IKS K'mpec after the chancellor before Gowron. Then there's a Koro't'inga on my new tactical officer, the IKS Kharn. That one's a two for one reference: To Kharn the Undying (RIP Axanar) and also to... Well, I'll just say BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD and leave it at that.

What does 'Amar' mean in Klingon? That was one of the K'tinga battlecruiser in ST:TMP that got yoked by V'ger. Or for that matter: B'moth, Rottaran, Ch'tang, Klothos, A'kog, etc., etc. All ship names used in the movies and series.

I suppose I split the difference in all the different ways; I have true Klingonese ship names (such as the BortaS'tuv, or "Cold Vengence"), Klingon-ised English names (there's the b'S'marQ... I like World War II history.), 'loan word' names from other sources that sound Klingon (like the I.K.S. G'Quon and I.K.S. G'Kar on one character come to mind...) and also I have names that have nothing to do with Klingons whatsoever and are in perfect English (My Ferasan commands the Ferasan Bebop, I have the G.H.S. Bahamut on a Gorn, etc.)
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

This same RPG / Novel "The Final Reflection" that spawned a lot of the lore in the RPG uses "Kinshaya" for the Klingon word of Demon - applied to the race of bird-esque people that lived on the other side of the Empire and kept attacking them.

So, all my KDF flagships (and a lot of the levelling ships) are Kinshaya [blank], where the blank is usually a Klingon translated weapon - first one was Kinshaya Bat'leH, google translated up the "demon sword", "demon dagger" etc... (don't remember the exact names offhand and am being too lazy to log in and look them up...)
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

My guys are just running the standard names generated by Cryptic. Looking them up in a translator is hit and miss (more miss than hit). Let me see what Bing serves up for each of them.

Meena, Ferasan Tac (60) : T5-U B'rel Bird of Prey Retrofit : I.K.S. vagh Sud bas = five sud bas
    Dilwon, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Bortasqu' Command Cruiser : I.K.S. D'Rek = D'rek
    Diltua, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Mogh Battle Cruiser : I.K.S. Dartuth = Dartuth
    Diltre, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Mogh Battle Cruiser : I.K.S. Durigi = Durigi
    Dilour, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Kar'Fi Battle Carrier : I.K.S. Dorgoh = Dorgoh
Dilive, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Marauder Flight Deck Cruiser : I.K.S. Darimor = Darimor
    Dilsyx, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Varanus Support Vessel : I.K.S. Dorocu = Dorocu
    Dilven, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Varanus Support Vessel : I.K.S. Daroko = Daroko
    Dilight, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 Guramba Siege Destroyer : I.K.S. Dravonu = Dravonu
    Dilni, Klingon Sci (60) : T5 B'rel Bird of Prey Retrofit : I.K.S. Do'doc = Do'doc

And well, then there is also my Fed.

Willard the Rat, Klingon Sci (60) : T6 Science Command Battlecruiser : U.S.S. Tong Vey = Tong Vey

Hrmm, let me see what would happen if I were to look at some new names for them.

    loQ Hegh = Little Death
    Hurgh ra' = Dark Command
    nlH ghop = Right Hand
    poS ghop = Left Hand
    veqlargh qul = Demon Fire
    roQ = Creature
ngaq Duj wa' = Support Ship One
ngaq Duj cha' = Support Ship Two
    let poH = Hard Time
    DaHoHta' HoH = Kill Kill

    tIr ngogh QaD = Toast

Course, I'm sure that if I put those into a translator other than Bing's, those translators will have a hissyfit.

    death to the
    Dark Coffee
    hand nlh
    open hand
Demon Fire (we have a weiner!)
    put down
    support one of The
the second ship support (kinda sorta!)
Hard Time (we have a weiner!)
    Kill dahoh (lmfao)

    Toast (awesomesauce!)

So yeah...lol...Dark Coffee, eh? Oh well...
