Nausicaan Entoiled Technology set

My main point with this set is the lack of a DHC, it seems like an indefensible omission. With the upgrade weekend I decided to update all my characters and now I'm trying to decide how to gear my fleet Kolasi. I usually lean sci heavy in all things, so a tac boff heavy energy weapon theme will be new and fun. With 4 eng consoles I can fill up with the K13 consoles everything seems new and fresh except I don't know what to do with this entoiled beam array. All beam arrays? I don't like the sound of that. Cannons front, arrays rear? Hmmmm. Not sure what to do and have to fill cmd and lt.cmd boff slots.

    on a kolasi I would use only the entoil set beam use it to active the trait and maybe the mat'ha's if you have it. make the rest of your weapons polarized disruptor turrets. the nausicaan weapons seem based on them anyway.

    I'lll put up what I'm working on to give you ideas later if you want, too tired to do that right now.

    Can it mount Dual (non-heavy) Cannons though?
    Single Cannons?

    Pretty sure it can mount Turrets ...

    Kolasi is 4/4 weapons, right? I'd just shove the beam aft, which is what I did when trying out the three-set on a Negh'Tev, though I had the torp fore since I was trying it out with Concentrate Firepower III ability (Command hybrid).

    I'm thinking 3 dhc and the entoiled beam array in front, 2 turrets and the entoiled energy torpedo in the rear and that gets me cannon skill 3, BO3, cannon 2 then whatever else for the other 4 boff slots

    personally take out one of the cannon skill for HY, and switch the torp and beam but ether should be solid.

    Before this set became available, I found that the best bet was antiproton based energy weapon systems. There are a number of sets that lend themselves well to additional damage for antiproton energy weapons. But with this set and its boost to disruptor damage, disruptor weapons have caught up.

    I'd agree if the console was Universal, but as fixed Sci, it's not really competitive versus a Fleet Embassy Plasma exploder. Whereas most of the other energy types have a Universal that gives a Cat.1 damage boost of similar magnitude, and can be shoved into a Eng spot instead, which is lower value than a Sci for an exploder, at least until K-13 consoles are fully fixed and available.

    This set is fun on my Mat'ha which is using all beams. I have it fully upgraded along with the Terran Empire disruptor beam array and a bunch of CrtDx4's. No embassy consoles though, I slotted that aux crit buff console instead in the other science slot since my power levels are around 125/75/68/75 unbuffed and I get some nice crit goodness from temporal disentanglement suit.

    Instill need to get my hands on this set, drop it on my beam cruisers, and have some fun.

    My main uses disruptors exclusively, i only use AP on some of my alts.

    So really look forward to givibg this set a run when i get a chance.

    I prefer it over my Antiproton sets now. I'm running it with Fleet Disruptors on a 5 forward 3 aft Temporal D7 cruiser. I have four Fleet dual beam banks forward and the Nausicaan Torpedo that does disruptor damage and aft I have the Omni-directional Disruptor beam, the Nausicaan Disruptor Beam Array and the Resonant Transphasic Torpedo Launcher. One of my science slots has the Nausicaan Siphon Capacitor. Was also able to pick up the Dynamic Power Redistributor Module from the Undiscovered Lockbox which gives an energy damage boost.

    My nausicaan beam goes in aft on my T5U Vor'Cha. It's definitely necessary for the set bonus and every once in a while, I see the disruptor hold happen. I've actually been caught in it once. Don't know if that's a bug.

    Here's my setup. As you can see from the stats, I'm trying to mostly max out disruptor damage:
