My main point with this set is the lack of a DHC, it seems like an indefensible omission. With the upgrade weekend I decided to update all my characters and now I'm trying to decide how to gear my fleet Kolasi. I usually lean sci heavy in all things, so a tac boff heavy energy weapon theme will be new and fun. With 4 eng consoles I can fill up with the K13 consoles everything seems new and fresh except I don't know what to do with this entoiled beam array. All beam arrays? I don't like the sound of that. Cannons front, arrays rear? Hmmmm. Not sure what to do and have to fill cmd and lt.cmd boff slots.

I'd agree if the console was Universal, but as fixed Sci, it's not really competitive versus a Fleet Embassy Plasma exploder. Whereas most of the other energy types have a Universal that gives a Cat.1 damage boost of similar magnitude, and can be shoved into a Eng spot instead, which is lower value than a Sci for an exploder, at least until K-13 consoles are fully fixed and available.
My main uses disruptors exclusively, i only use AP on some of my alts.
So really look forward to givibg this set a run when i get a chance.
