How to get rid of the DPS-Channel-Invites

Everyone has/had them in the Chat-Configuration: The annoying DPS-Channels ... A simple way how to get rid of them (because nobody really needs them):

1. In the Chat-Window, click on "Chat-Configuration and Social Shortcuts"
2. "Chat settings"
3. Now create your own channel (abc4802 i.e.) (Enter a name and click "Create"
4. In the lower left you can click "Admin" now!
5. Now you have semi-admin-rights, when you switch back to the Channel-List (The Create-Window must be open!!!)
6. Switch to the unwanted DPS-Channel, check the "Offline" in the other window and sort it by "Access-Level"
7. Now simply add everyone which is not a "User" to your ignore-list.

That's it! You shouldn't get an invite to one of these channels again.

    Everyone has had them ?

    Been playing since just before DR and the only one I ever received was for the ground DPS channel after running a parsed STF with Fleet mates, and that was only after he asked a few of us if we would like an invite after seeing what our numbers were.

    Nice idea and all, but I wouldn't want to actually ignore them just because I don't want in their channels. They're cool people. =D

    You could go to the chat settings and unclick the dps channel boxes in the first tab there if you want. Then you never see them again, even if they add an admin or two.

    Ohh my god, how could I missed this gem :o
    Thank you so much for this. So like, let me get this if I understand what is going on here, you make yourself an admin, any channel admin, so then you can see other admins in other channels and then you ignore said DPS channels admins and they cant send you an invite if you got then ignored?
