    That new kit module is completely worthless unless it also plays THAT song while active.
    Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

    Fascinating.

    • the Ryn'Kodan is not unwelcome, though I had hoped the cruiser would be next in line as the logical step up from the Xyfius;
    • the biathlon will be fun, but it is a shame it's not the usual sort... which would be an interesting queue for the CW rep;
    • new kit module should be amusing; an all-access alternative to the tripwire mine;
    • training manuals for the Risian kit modules (including this new one, I would trust) are long overdue, and are appreciated. I also imagine this will become the case for the WW modules as well

    The training manuals are the most interesting thing to me...it'd be nice to be able to train boffs in more of the skills that your captain uses (perhaps a training manual purchase if they own the reputation kit module?) but this is a start. CAn't wait to play with handing grav spike and molten terrain to entire away teams.

    All the kit mods are now boff powers? That'll be fun. Though, I dont get what the Vorgons have to do with summer, is it just simply that you only saw them on Risa in TNG?

    Well I am looking forward to my account's characters' first Summer event on Risa. I like that they have a balance between the Winter & the Summer events! What I am not amused about is why Cryptic has this attitude that a newer player cannot earn previous ships because in typical Cryptic fashion they are going to have some synergy perk between the (2) Vorgon ships. This new Ryn'Kodan does look awesome. Also, I am hoping they make this event account wide unlock. This Mirror Invasion event being per character is a bit exhausting with my (8) characters & I know many players probably have much more than that LOL. I am hoping this will be more fun than the Mirror Invasion event which has it's ups & downs with the AFKers.

    Yay for another carrier, and Yay for those swimwear outfits. Oh and Yay for kit training manuals.

    Overall this event makes me happy :)

    Feels uninspired and mostly like cheap rehash content but i like some of the choices on the Forced colors for swimwear.

    As usual, I'm going to ignore the seasonal event entirely, and roll my eyes / mock the grind-ship, mainly because it's a terrible way to do an event and yes i understand it temporarily boosts your statistics but there's really better ways to do that that are even less taxing on the work staff than this.

    Given that the MI event reward is a package (dilithium, marks, and special item), I agree that the item should be an account-wide unlock; the rest of the package would be there for each character to collect for players so inclined.

    Mock away. The 'grind' for the summer ship only takes a couple minutes, max. It's actually something I like to do as well. And I do like carriers, so the ship is a welcome addition. Though at some point in the future it would be nice if they would make some other Risian-designed ships available again.

    Those new outfits are quite interesting, as is the training manuals. The new kit module, not so. I didn't like the hurricane turret and this looks like a desert-type alternative.

    I just don't like anything that potentially blinds me or my BOFFs.

    Love those caracals too.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Yes, unless they make a major shift from the last few years, the ship will be account-wide unlock. It's a shame you didn't get the older ships, but watch out for the Phoenix pack in the future.

    Im a ship collecting addict i cant help myself , first it was the T1 miranda now its T6 vorgon but i dont have a problem i can quit whenever i want ....were getting a new breen ship in december? ok ok just one more after the summer event and then no more ships ok maybe after the 8th anniversary...omg i cant stop CURSE YOU CRYPTIC YOU MADE ME A SHIP JUNKIE!! :(

    Love the new clothes, and love the training manuals for the old Risian kit modules
    But kinda disapointed we are getting another Vorgon ship. Had hoped for a new Risian ship or something entirely new.

    I don't know. Some people will go to the event only for the unlock. Some will not go. Some, myself included, enjoy the summer event a lot. Maybe there are better ways to do an event, but I am enjoying this one a great deal and am looking forward to it. And if I stop enjoying it, I can just quit Risa and go back to the regular content without feeling negatively about those continuing. Or I can do something else entirely.

    But I am sure Cryptic will be interested in better and easier ways to run this, so why not give some inspirational ideas?

      That rash guards swimwear doesn't even look like swimwear. Looks like shorts and a shirt. I hope it's useable outside of swimwear categories. I really wish there were t6 Risian themed ships. It's a summer event after all not a Vorgon event. The pets are kinda cool though.

      I'm hoping the carrier has pilot or command seating... epic carrier lock trajectory 'powerslides' would be awesome and get me out of my beloved speed demon build vo'quv (if you've been MIing, if you've seen a vo'quv in a mixmatch vod'leh thats hurtling about at escort speeds and torpedoing with science, thats me)

      Of course if it has command... high yield justice ;)

      Naturally, it'll be all red as red wunz go faster :3
