quantum phase torpedo drain - why bother using energy weapons when you can strip all shield with just one spread ?

aux2sif placate doff - assuming you have aux2sif on global, 4seconds of a jam that cant be removed, plus the time it takes to re-target the idiot, makes someone 2x more tankyer with a single fkin doff.

tykens rift - i think everyone knows why lol

shield refrequencer consoles from dyson reputation store - all kinds of reflection damage will proc the proton damage on yourself ( gets a lot worse with improved fbp ), and the proc itself is a bit too strong for most players

pilot team - doesnt seem to be applying the speed buff at all


ground

elachi rift module - still broken and nooby af

boolean cannon - does more dmg than most noob's starships

phasic shroud module - who had the idea of giving perma cloak ? lol


devs, no matter how much stuff you "fix" , you wont get it right if you dont play the fkin game.

    still, engineering team is 15sec global and a2s is 10, and 4sec jam every 10 seconds isnt a bit too much for you ? let me guess, you use it too right ?

    First off no, I don't use it, second you made a statement that it needs to be fixed based on a fact that it cant be cleared, which it can be, by engineering team. I do agree with you 100% that it does need to be fixed, but you need to provide other reasons than that on why it needs to be fixed other than that one.

    engineering team wont be available everytime you need to clear the placate, it has a bigger cooldown, and you will need it to heal or remove other debuffs, its almost the same... but yes, the fact is that back when the romulan reputation was released we had a trait that gave a 4sec placate every 20seconds, even that got nerfed, i just dont see why a 4sec placate every 10 seconds wont be nerfed... 4seconds plus the time it takes to retarget is almost a 50% uptime placate with just a fkin doff, plus the fact that it just doesnt let you stack your debuffs, that doff, plus jam sensors or scramble or adapted maco shield... its just too much

    Well, that list is a lot shorter than what we used to have in the past... I mean, even the noBS ruleset used to be longer than that, so all in all not bad. Just a few more fixes for relatively good balance.

    Ofc, maintaining that balance will be next to impossible with their nonexistant QA and mindless powercreep they are hellbent on releasing.

    Bring in an experienced PvP developer and give him final say on all space combat system content.
    If he says: "no, it'll ruin the game. We also have to fix this mess first." Take it as gospel.

    yeah its sad... i just dont see why would they beef drainx so much, i really tryed, with pms to devs, bug reports, etc etc, but not a single answer, how can they balance a game they dont even play, you cant balance stuff you dont know ...

    anyway, truth beeing said, its still better than the temporal spam though

    yesterday we saw the damage of those consoles in arena, they're really OP and need to be reworked
    and lol at cryptic, you can do that, keep fixing though ;)

    against a pvper it will do arround 6-7k at least for me, but on pve it gets 30k... the real problem is that they kill you with ifbp, and that sucks ... its nice to see noobs getting melted by it though

    I just finished a pug PVP arena match in a beamboat cruiser (a minor tweak to the kind that was nerfed) and I scored 10 of the 15 kills for my team going solo while the other team members worked together to score 5 other kills. The only times I was killed by enemies where when I was caught in Tyken's Rifts and lost all power.

    As a someone who uses a sci toon as my main character I like having a awesome drain builds with super-powerful Tyken's Rift option, but when you PVP against a team with multiple TR you realize the problem. If the devs don't nerf TR for PVP then they need to buff immunity to TR after you get killed in PVP. Like, if you are drained by TR and killed then you have a full 120 seconds of immunity from all TR drains after you respawn.

    drains and cc were fine before this... i dont get it why they buffed tykens to more than 100 drain per second ...

    Well, the quantum phase torpedo still instantly strips all shields. Tykens rift still drains enormous amounts of power and from what I've heard the Aux2SIF doff and the Dyson consoles are still problems, too. I'm not sure about Pilot Team though. Of course there are many additional issues that I won't go into.

    Well.. that Dyson Consoles are still broken/OP
    Vid just watch this nice Vid from SOB, i believe it explains whats going on.

    Tyken is maybe also to strong.. but ofc the speed aswell, if you fix Tyken you should fix speed aswell.. or Tyken is useless.
    I meen.. try to Drain an Escorte with > 600 speed.. even with the strong Tyken.. no chance.

    A lockout for Placate is also missing.. .

    Scoreboard still offline for weeks now.. in the past it was offline for over 6 Month, sry this is a no go.. we are playing PvP and want see after a Match the Score ofc.. .

    They still have to fix the hazard emitter beam going off target after usage :D It's 2 months i didn't login, and we still have this problem. Also scoreboard broken again.

    What a joke this game. I've done some PvP and I'm appalled by the drain, Penetration, no longer requiring shields, doesn;t seem like any of your energy weapons are of much consideration now these days as everything is bleed, radiation, etc. Consoles and rep items do the damage now. Cloaked ships are still in major advantage, ships that basically fly on permanent evasive and just keep running and hide, so much buff/debuffs that an i7 5GHz / 1070 GTX drops to 20< fps on an almost 8 year old engine, 2 years of grind, 1000 bucks pocket to get actually viable in PVP, OrganizedPvP numbers dropped from 500 to 30 on average, and now a leaderboard that hasnt been working for almost a year?

    Yea. Pee vee pee is ded alright, more dead than it ever was. Sure some die hards still play, I'm kind of debating whether the huge money/time investement is even worth it.
