For about 2 months now about 75% of the time the game screen will freeze and crash giving me a huge error something about hung while presenting or if doesn't completely crash I have to go to task manager and kill game client myself then restart says the most current drivers for my DX11 are installed I'm using an Acer Aspire E1-572-6692 never had problems before and now suddenly it's constant. I tried to run the 3 tests I successfully did two of them the third one which is the net test keeps saying timed out here are the results of the trace route and path ping however I have omitted my IP Address and ISP for protection against identity theft. I believe however the problem is in my graphics chip set settings but I'm no IT so any help will be appreciated.

While moving to another map the transfer screen just freezes so I go into task manager to see STO aint running but in process its there as gameclient.exe..So force close it and have to restart sto..Connecction is perfectly fine..

Let's all work together to make sure the Server Team begins effecting resolutions to the Server Problems as soon as possible in order for EVERYONE to have a better STO experience because the same problems are effecting the STO experience for ALL the players.

100% of the time, all map transfers crash my game at ~40s, and this has occurred since about 2 weeks ago maybe? It needs to be addressed. Everything is fine on my end. What is happening on your end, Cryptic?
Now it also crashes every first time I 'Engage', immediately upon getting to the Cryptic logo loading screen. The second time it proceeds into game, whereupon it thereafter hangs indefinitely at every single transfer screen. What did you break for run-o-the-mill DX11+ nVidia people (aka practically everyone on PC)?

Using DX11 NVidia here - no such issue. Many more with no issue either.
"Everything is fine my end" - a little vague. Did you have any drivers update either manually or automatically? Have you used DDU to do a proper clean GFX driver install to rule out problems there? Is everything else up to date? Have you wiped your shader-cache in STO?
The fact that it is happening 100% of the time as you claim, suggests a problem on your end; specifically, on your PC. If you list everything you have tried to prove it's not you, perhaps we can help you get it sorted?
I know many of the posters within the community really dislike seeing less informed persons practically attack other posters when they're simply being clear.

No, the exact opposite is usually true - when a forum user (anywhere) states that "everything is fine my end" without at least summarising what they have tried, it invariably means they haven't tried everything, or anything at all.
I was simply asking for a list of things that have been tried, so we can all see if something has been missed and therefore offer help. If you have nothing useful to add, butt out Mr White Knight. ;-)

Same here, game freezes at 40 or 50 percent loading some maps, have to kill client and start again, happens in a daily basis. No other game I have gives me this issue
Reintall all graphic pilotes, check all game files many times, by starting with steam, and directly in launcher. everything is clear on my computer, so don't understand what's happen.

If many people have the problem, I think it's not a problem on player's computer, but a game server problem.
Be nice to see Cryptic do something about it, but I would be surprised if they fix it.
While doing "Smoke and Mirrors" and entered the Kentari Building the game froze on the map transfer screen.
When finishing the last fight in "Smoke and Mirrors" and leaving the instance to go back to the Alpha Quadrant, the game freezes at map transfer screen.
When transwarping to Sol System, the game freezes in the map transfer screen.
When entering Earth Spacedock, the game freezes in the map transfer screen.
This is on a Windows 10 system. I try to wait out these freezes but nothing ever changes. I try to alt tab, nothing happens. I hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and try to bring up the Task Manager, I cannot select it or anything else.
The only way to get out of this is a hard restart of the computer.
The game is unplayable.
I get the exact same thing. Good to know I'm not the only one.
The issue is very off an on. One day I can't do anything. Another day I'm doing queues, quests, transwarping fine. It's very inconsistent and when it's acting up it's just unplayable.
