How little the game has really changed.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

I've often heard people state that the TOS sound editing sounded like A.S.S.

I heard that a deal with Beats by Dre fell through so they got this in place. But Kendrick Lamar and Lil Uzi Vert are going to be doing VO work for Season 13.

One time at work, I made the pantomime of the old credit card carbon paper copier and the one of the 'kids' there didn't even know what I was talking about. Either I'm old or they are too young!

That was a placeholder name only used in the beta.

"Admiralty Ship System" is not how the system is named, though. It's inofficial and thus doesn't count, TRIBBLE is the official acronym for Artesinal Sonification System from now on until the end of time.

but since that's how it's referred to by absolutely everybody, that's the only thing that matters

Just had a thought - A way to make the Artisanal Sonification System even better than it already is!
Add in an a capella version of some or all of the STO background music - as performed by the Cryptic Choir!

Some suggested tuneage. Actually, I don't think the Artisanal Sonification System - beta build version1.9 would be truly complete without these but they are just suggestions.
The intro music from any or all of the series or films.
The TOS "fight" music. (Gotta have this one!)
The Klingon battle music from the beginning of ST:TMP.

Cryptic denizens - I enjoyed your April Fools auditory joke. I had to turn it off because I kept dying or messing up while it was playing, but I still enjoyed it. It was funny in a very good sort of way. I'm never going to be accused of being Y'all's biggest fan but then Y'all go and do something like this and all I can do is bray helplessly while shaking my head. Not enough laughter or silliness around here most days, so thanks for doing your part.

This was fantastic. The best sounds were the transporter shimming, and when I went to warp. Well done.
