Game crashing when i transfer maps

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
between missions when i transfer maps to and from sector space, i crash, even sometimes during missions. the old fix was to select Reduced file streaming in the advanced options.

that doesnt exist anymore.. any idea how i fix this?

    Reduced File Streaming still exists. It is the very first option in the Advanced Options.

    yeah the file streaming thing fixed it for me

    On the main screen where you load your character, click Options to open the options windows. The Advanced tab is all the way on the right.

    Also, make make sure the Video Memory Limit is set to 1024+ MB... unless your graphics card is rather old and it has less than 1GB of VRAM. Or you are playing the game using integrated graphics to play the game and you only have 4GB of RAM installed.

    You need to disable 'On-Demand Patching' too in the Launcher. This will download the full game, and bypass the game requesting access to the Patch-Server, which is also a cause of crashes.
