Players in the game who are the original cast of Star Trek

Wow! The other day on Risa I saw a whole group of in game players who look like the original cast of Star Trek they bear the fleet name USS Enterprise and they each have the names Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Checkov, Sulu, Yomen Rand, Uhura, and they look exactly like them! Additionally they interact with you but will not tell you how on Earth (or space) they did it. Amazing! I commend these players for working so hard to get the look exact and coordinate to be on line and visit places together. I hope you guys will pop into places like Risa, Drozana Station, DS9 now and then to let other players see you. You guys rock! Thank you for making this game more real. I normally don't post but you guys and gals are worth a great review and worth seeing. Wish I could attach 2 screen shots I have kept. I wrote ST on line to sponsor all of you. Thank you again for making STO better.

    They didn't make them.

They were from a promotional pack given away to people who attended Star Trek Mission New York.
    Insert witty signature line here.

Except they didn't work hard at all...the exploited bugs that have been in the game for years and they copied the template of these boffs and exploited the system.

No...there was no hard work making them perfect...all there is to it was some simple copying and exploiting a tailor bug...nothing more.

So in reality you're congratulating someone for a effort when there was really no effort involved, and congratulating them for exploiting a bug.

They exploit a bug that has been around for years and is well known....yeah good for them....so impressive! (In case you can't tell...this is sarcasm)

When I read the subject I thought it was about player's who had previously acted in Star Trek. :p Though this was interesting to read about.

Me too. A bit disappointed it turned into just another "You know nothing and I'm smarter than you cos I've been here since beta" thread.

dear @stoleviathan999#6673 , as a member of U.S.S. Starchaser - the fleet you repeatedly shamed on these forums by accusations of hacking - I ask you to remove that picture as it goes against the Terms of Service under "Naming and Shaming".

Now I find it quite fun that you give us, a small fleet, all this attention, but some other members might not enjoy it as much as I do.

I don't know what your problem with us is as far as I know no member of Starchaser ever encountered or interacted with you outisde of this forums, but you're violating the ToS here, friend.

    Well put.

not really a good thing to advertise if you actually like them. also Inaccurate. Every name you mentioned is inaccurate in some way. But that might be a good thing.
I hope you guys will pop into places like Risa, Drozana Station, DS9 now and then to let other players see you.

I've seen the group you're talking about on Risa, and they said they were planning to camp DS9 and Andoria at some point but they show up randomly.

also probly not the best idea, But I'd agree with this feeling.

Thank you for making this game more real.

According to SciOfficer0718, That's the intent. You can also find pictures on his twitter. Nice dude.. pity they wouldn't join the Dental Armada, but i totally agree with your statement. it was cool seeing characters I was attached to who actually sounded a lot like the characters. Pity the TNG crew hasn't shown up...

Hardly accurate, but you've probly never had to stomach the tutorial more than once.

Potentially inaccurate (exploiting bugs - we don't know how or what they did), and Totally inaccurate. Similar bugs maybe, but not one that's been in for years.

Aside from sounding hideously jealous, you've clearly not seen them at all, nor recognized that quite a bit of effort seems to have went into them, and that they're quite different from Cryptic's characters despite using many of the same outfit parts. If anything, you're ignoring stomaching the tutorial, or that they're TOS characters that have acquired Kelvin uniforms, and even dropped money (I think) to get Dilithium Excursion Jackets.. not to mention the TWOK outfits.

Here, Here how ever they did it, they add to the game big time. Give them and other the chance not to be judged by "perhaps" a few bad apples in a fleet which every MMO games or clan or group has..I enjoy seeing them and interacting. Captain Michaels
