Zen store- Item limited to one per character

:/
I bought an item from the zen store to give as a gift and thanks to my dodgy mouse and it's random double clicking, I accidently opened it making it bound to my character.
Is there a way to get another one?

I had thought since it says that it's limited to one per character that I could buy it on my alt, but it no longer shows in the store on either character.

Alternatively..is there a way to bypass the exchange and trade the zen required for the item directly to the person that the gift was intended for?

Best you can do to give someone Zen is to give them a gift card. Walmart, for example, sells them. They send you a code to your email. You then can give that code to your friend so they can enter it into the gift card number when purchasing Zen on the Arc Charge page.

    > bypass the exchange

If it sells boxed on the exchange not just in the C-Store, you should be able to buy it for EC even though you have it already. You can convert Zen to EC by buying some lock box keys and selling them for EC.

You can't send zen to another player.

Thank you both for your quick responses.

We don't have Walmart in the UK..no idea where those cards are available here. But that looks to be my only viable solution.

It is available for EC, unfortunately the price tripled over the course of this week and I've not been playing long enough to have saved the amount now being charged.

If I can't find the card I guess I'll just have to get a different item.

...does this mean the item is actually 1 per account, rather than 1 per character though?.....Anyway, Thanks again both.

    XD

Is this PC or Console? On PC you can get 5.x million EC by selling one lock box key. That's how you can convert Zen to EC.

That would explain why you can't buy it with an alt.

    hmmmm
    ....a true solution.

I fessed up to my man what I'd done....turns out, he bought the exact same item for me, so it looks like my problem is solved, we just get Valentines gifts a day early :)

Someone might answer that, if you had told us what item it is.

    @ warpangel

yes, I realised that when I posted...I just didn't want my fella to see it and know what I'd bought him for valentines, incase there WAS a way for me to get another in time.

I was talking about the non-combat pet-Selhat Cat.
I admit, I (stupidly) didn't read the info on the C-store....just on the item, after I accidently opened it, so maybe it says 1 per account in the store.
It's the first time I've bought something there so I hadn't realised items were limited that way.

I guess it's irrelevant now since he has his cat....and I learnt my lesson regards to reading the info properly.

    Ty for responding though XD

Everyone makes mistakes. Lord knows I've made plenty myself.

Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

....and I will make many more....but I do learn from them :)

tbh I was kind of annoyed with myself for NOT reading it before buying cos I'm generally quite anal about 'reading the smallprint', I'm just happy it worked out in the end (and that it wasn't a more expensive item).

oh...I also learned, it's definately time to replace my mouse before it(s), random not-clicking-at-all or multiple-clicking-after-being-pressed-once, causes more problems.

Thank You all for taking the time to respond <3

Yeah, time to replace that mouse. Good thing they're not prohibitively expensive (like good processors/vid cards, both of which I need).

Glad everything worked out for you.
