in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Are there any new missions other than "Of Sings and Portents" expected this season? Any idea yet of what their weapons consoles would look like or if their warp drives are standard or specific like the Romulan singularity drives? I love them so far and I think they are best added race to date.

    There might be another one or two storyline missions. But this is unlikely. The pattern has become use one FE to introduce yet another Reptuation System and two or three new STFs. Unfortunate, but Cryptic established this pattern a long while back. I do not see them changing it unless there is a way to make more money

    Fact check: the pattern is one FE and PVE content (plus a new system/revamp) as the FIRST update of the season. More episodes then follow; sometimes on their own, sometimes associated with the mid-season update. This most notably started with Dust to Dust and whatever the Sela/Elachi episode was called, following Delta Rising. Cryptic kept it up through the Iconian War, the Na'kuhl's part in Season 10, and even with the expansion (the first protomater/Lukari/K-13 episode.)

    Before we move onto S13, we'll very likely see two or three more episodes.

    Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence

    Yeah, but then everything gets front-loaded and we spend the rest of the season wandering about in end-game grind mode with "nothing to do" (except Foundry, though trying to tell someone that when they just want to sulk about "lacking content" isn't a way of making friends. :p) Cryptic said that people tend to stay with the game more when there's a new thing coming out every month or two rather than every five or six.

    I like an episode a month style they used during the Iconian War. Every month you got a new story to look forward to. Of course, there could always be more.

    It will be one mission every 4 weeks. Cryptic has already stated that this storyline is to continue into 2018, which will include mid and new seasons

    Will the essay "All Our Crusades" likely figure into the continuing Tzenkethi centric missions?

    I expect some breaks for events though. On the other hand, Cryptic has had quite a lot of multiple things going on at the same time lately.
