Anniversary Event Can't Find Q

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
In game announcement says anniversary event starts 2/2/17 and that Q is at earth space dock. Can't find him to save my life. Has event been delayed?

    Yes. because apparently, despite being on the calendar for at least a month and a half, the fact it was supposed to start on the second is, quote "a bug, and we are very sorry".

    Yeah, no, no they are 100% not sorry. Us console guys get even less communication and stuff than the PC. On the other hand, they got the Ship Bundle out on time! Tells you EXACTLY their priorities, don't it?

    Ok it was a bug the 1st annivrsary of STO on console is in september , the annivsary on feb 2 is STOs anniversary on PC.

    So nothing going on for console users? Is Agents of Yesterday getting released on 2/14 or is that a bug too?

    Actually if you read that they moved it to feb 14th same time they launch agents of yesterday on the consoles

    They have added a new banner on the left side of the login screen that says that the anniversary event is coming feb 14th with the AOY expansion more info coming next week.

    Also the anniversary is in celebration of the launch of STO its not a celebration of the date it launched on a certain platform.

    The fact that the freaking calendar listed the event as on the 2nd, and the last day before the event was scheduled, "Whoops, sorry, it was a bug" from the devs.... Meaning, they fked us over.     Seriously who in their right mind could see an anniversary event in the console calendar less than six months after launch and NOT realize that it's an obvious bug? This is something that only takes a small sliver of common sense to figure out, I seriously do not understand why there are so many posts about this.

    No, the PC anniversary event started on jan 26th.

    The feb 2nd in the calendar was a bug on both platforms, but for some reason a few console players just can't get their panties untwisted about it even though their side of the bug was far less harmful.

    Cryptic have never defined STO's Anniversary by platform its also been based on the date the game launched so if you want to look at things in a black and white kinda way then the Anniversary will be at the same time on all versions of the game until Cryptic say other wise that's just common sense right?.

    This topic needs to be dropped I agree, I do think Cryptic should of posted a sticky topic on the forums or a news post on the main site addressing the issue so people can see it rather than having to ask what is going on.

    There is no such thing as common sense you will learn lol

    ... because until now there was only one platform anyway ...

    Everything else between PC and Console (lockboxes, C-Store items, etc) is separate, so why wouldn't the anniversary be?
