No idea but from what I've been hearing console players will be behind PC players in terms of content. Maybe you'll get first year stuff? Who knows, maybe seven years from now you'll get the Doritos Chip Ship.
The console anniversary event will be in September. Consoles will be getting the Agents of Yesterday expansion in February. It should include a new story arc called New Frontiers with the Echoes of Light mission that leads up to the point when console players can acquire the Lukari Science Vessel (Space Doritos) as part of the Anniversary Event.

So have they stated the in game calendar and banners listing the Anniversary event starting on Thursday is a mistake that has been in game since last year?
Personally Im expecting the rest of the future proof missions we dont have yet and last years Kremin Science ship that went along with those missions.

I have no idea what the console calendar says since I do not own one. It could be an error. I believe the STO PC calendar originally indicated the 7th Anniversary Event was supposed to start February 2nd 2017.
The release of the AoY expansion will include the final missions for the Future Proof story arc.
The Krenim Science Vessel will likely be offered in a future lockbox.
I'd say judging from the fact that instead of the consoles getting 2016's winter ship alongside the PC, all events will be giving the last year's event ship, so for summer I expect the Vorgon ship will be given and for the first anniversary event (which may be in september) the Krenim Science Vessel.
Well currently the banner on the console still says the anniversary event starts soon. They have a splash screen for it as well, so i doubt its for September. Was hoping to hear from the Admin, now i guess we will just wait and see if the banner changes.
Wow - I've heard of lazy cut and paste, but that's ridiculous. I mean hell, they make a big deal of the Console versions being new/different (and they are as the content parity with the PC version isn't there yet); but yes, you'd think they'd have a separate 'Console Anniversary' and keep the promotion aspects separate. (Again, nothing against Console players, but there were a lot of unique anniversary things that PC players received in years past that they could give to Console players as the Console Anniversary hits, etc.) But, that's Cryptic/PWE.

Game has not even been out a year on console yet, why would they get anniversary rewards?
Its been pointed out many time that the console has had this event on their Calendar and in game banners for over a month! if it was a mistake Cryptic should of taken care of it sooner not wait until the day the event is ment to go live to say something, at this point its more about their lack of communication than it is about the event taking place in Feb or Sept.

Well, it's also pretty silly to even think, even if it is on the calendar, that a game that has not even been out for one year would be celebrating a 7 year anniversary. That doesn't even make any sense. Maybe there are some technical difficulties with the calendar that need to be overcome in order for them to fix that and they have more important things to work on for console, like getting content out, then to fix a buggy calendar. They probably thought, it's so obvious that there will not be a seven year anniversary event for a game that has not even been out a year that it was a non-issue to them. It is pretty obvious.

The event does not mention which year it is... and Obvious or not if it was an issue with the calendar that should of been made clear! You dont advertise something for over a month then go oops our bad that was wrong.
If you walked into MC Donalds to get a special limited burger they was advertising for a month as coming out on 2nd Feb and found out their adverts where wrong and its march 2nd you would be pissed and wonder how a professional company could make a mistake like that and not correct it!
Really bad communication on their part. I could understand if no one reported or asked a question about this upcoming event on the calendar but to wait until the day before and then give a tweet....pretty poor customer service.
Do I have any confidence that they'll actually follow up? Or that it'll be accurate even if they do? Absolutely not.
The fact it took them a month to catch onto this 'Bug' with the Calendar as one of the tweets says is the most concerning thing as there has been many threads on this forum and on Reddit and tweets at them on the subject over the last few weeks and the fact it was on the Calendar for a month and they stiff did not notice this 'bug' leads me to the conclusion they don't pay attention to the console side of things...
The reddit post where the CM posted about this being a bug sums up how the console feels quite a few people saying they are moving onto other games so this poor communication is costing them customers and most people will just leave they dont go posting on reddit or these forums, this should concern everyone if the console version gets bad reputation people will start avoiding it and Cryptic needs the cash cow lol
Currently consoles is getting treated almost second class because the pc has been out longer. No we dont need exactly everything to match the pc. But we should get the Krenim shim and a mirror or all the other stuff pc got this year. As the game is on par per release with everything but the lukari ship. If they treat the console worst theres a good chance alot of people will leave. Because people dont like being treated worst because they play on one system over another. They are making just as much off console players as pc players and could continue to do so if not more if the game does continue to attract console players. PC focuses to a much more limited audience that console will attract players more so that wouldnt play it on pc. I knew it was out on pc for a long time never bothered to show interest I play other games for pc with better cost to value ratios however when it hit console as free to play i was enticed to play it. Additionally i probably spend just as much as some pc players every month. But i never would bother to start on pc. Because im not a trekkie and there are alot of other players similar on console that still play it they wouldnt pick up from pc as easily.
Not to say that you cant but console does have an easier time doing it.

But they aren't really being treated as second class. You are going to get all the same stuff we get. The problem becomes the fact that they cannot just quickly and easily patch the game on console. Those patches have to go through Microsoft AND Sony before they can be implemented. So they have to pick and choose what they are going to work on, get it done and get it to them and then wait. Once that patch is in, then they can start on the next round of stuff.
In terms of this continued argument of console vs pc anniversary (referring to how people keep writing the console anniversary will be in Sept because that's the release on console).
I interpreted sto's anniversary as the anniversary of the IP/Franchise... NOT the system it was made on.

That's true same time the releases like anniversarys and that don't all need to be given a complete year behind. Like ie) since console is getting it on the 14th they dont have to give us all the give aways from a year ago. While we might not get the lukari ship. Which is understandable since we arnt up to that point on content. (Actually were still missing the nukura rep as well and have a mix match on ship releases). They could continue with the same give aways as were dont on pc outside the yearly ship. Instead of giving away tier 4 ships since most people on console are in tier 5 or higher ships. It would actually be nice if it was completely different but similar in quality.
Like instead of the Avenger, The Tvaro and the B'rael.
They Could do the Mogh Battle Cruiser, The Arkif (Prolly spelled wrong), and the Vulcan Science Vessel. Or something along those lines. Just mix match the ships to line up for each faction. The Ar'kif might actually push a few sales on the t6 heavy escort carrier on console even for them. I bought it purely to get the extra console so.
But theres a few ways they could go about it rather than giving away t4's like they have listed for last year which is just going to upset console players. Which id actually like last years t4 romi side to complete the escort carrier set. But that again is beyond the point the give aways if they go to last year is going to make alot of console players feel less than pc players as they are drastically downgraded compaired to this years.

you cant tell me that would be remotely equal to give to pc vs console.
As a console player id actually take offense to be given last years give aways after seeing what pc gets.
Doesnt have to be exact same but should be compairable.

Wait a minute Jaguarslx, did the guy you quote, seriously complain about getting PC's last year giveaways this year on console? and not getting what we got for that week of releases?
Even though the series of ships given are just as decent? As well as Cryptic doesn't have to give us away anything, as a minimum they give away three ships a year by doing a very simple 2 - 5 minute takes a number of times?
For everyone who keeps trying to tell us Console guys that the TRIBBLE we put up with is the same that everyone who plays a PC game ported over to the consoles has to put up with, and as a example of how to PROPERLY communicate with your community, PC AND consoles combined: Warframe. And Digital Extremes.
I'm just WAITING for someone to tell me how they TRIBBLE up handling both PC AND Consoles. Because they DON'T; they tell us when we are getting new content (Strike one against Cryptic), They ACTUALLY talk with their community, ALL of them (Strike two against Cryptic), when incomprehensibly stupid bugs (From STO, the fking broken assed tailor, missing missions, unable to get Doffs as mission rewards, etc) show up, or for that matter, ANY game breaking bug shows up, they fix it damm quick (Either a hotfix the SAME DAY or as a patch within a week) and APOLOGIZE for it. Does Cryptic? of fking course not. (strike three against cryptic).
And I happen to agree with the others calling for so called "Ambassador kael"'s termination on Reddit; the fact they waited until the DAY before to tell us "oops, sorry, we are too incompetent to figure this out sooner, go fk off". Sorry, but incompetence on this level needs to be dealt with quickly, with a quick round of paycuts and/or terminations (I'm torn between being terminated from their job, or having their dumbass brains splattered against a wall sorta termination) happening damn quick.
Not to say that EVERYTHING the PC has on Warframe consoles get; we still don't have Excal Umbra, but then again, that's everyone not on the chinese build. But then again, we DO get EVERYTHING the PC has, with usually only a few weeks apart regarding content; the most I think I have seen for a wait between content on PC and consoles getting content was a month and a half. And Warframe/DE has made screwups; everyone does. But UNLIKE Cryptic, DE actually seems to learn from, and strive to avoid, repeating the TRIBBLE up.
Cryptic? Considering that I RARELY ever see ANY of the devs ever show up to answer relevant questions (IE, stuff like " when is this bug being fixed", NOT "when is the next lockbox coming out?"), Us console guys STILL don't have our own forum section, something that was on the Calendar for TWO FKING MONTHS wasn't spotted, and all we got was a half assed "sorry"?
Yeahhhhhh...no. Cryptic gives exactly zero fks about us console guys. Hell, they even treat the PC like TRIBBLE, what with the steadfast refusal to fix long standing issues, and lack of content.
In closing; get yer TRIBBLE together Cryptic; you've managed to TRIBBLE off EVERYONE on the consoles. And, to be honest, I think you need us to keep afloat.
P.S. Usually I don't write this much, given I have fked up hands from a workplace mishap and typing gets REALLLLY painful after awhile, but this little issue has me angry as hell. So take that into account, Cryptic apologists.
