Today, we're happy to hand out some spec points and featured episode crafting packages! Go grab them!

    So it's a once per account thing?
    Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

    Yeah, I get it with the crafting stuff, but the spec points? Not so much ... just make the package BoP instead of BoA

    Awww, spec points? No fun! Though I am seemingly moving to having my Temporal Recruit or whatever you call him become my main character, so that'll help him catch up. But I seem to gain points every other day just from Admiralty Missions. Bah!

    I appreciate the gesture none-the-less.

    While the Crafting thing is once per account, the spec pack can be claimed once per toon - even if it will give info that it can't be claimed, it will be dropped to inventory (if you are lower level than 60) or directly to the spec pool...

    So is this actually 2 spec points per character????

    If not then Cryptic is getting cheap. I remember other giveaways involving spec points were each toon not per acct.

    the ship slots said once per account, but i got em on all 4 factions (including legacy faction); had to make a romulan and a klingon, but that was pretty quick

    In this case? It's two Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrades, which gives you +30,000 Technology Points, No Dilithium Cost, and No Quality Improvement Chance each, and it's obtainable once per account.

    Sadly, I may not be able to claim this in time. I can not load into the game past the Slash Screen. This is the loading screen just before the Character choosing screen. I have stoped the program, exited out of the game completely, uninstalled the game and I am in the process of re-installing the game from scratch. I would love to claim these for my toons.

    I'd like to report a bug. This may not be the forum to post this, but I didn't see any featured episode crafting packages under Promotions Tab. Please ask the Devs to see if they can fix this (and either add it to the next day's Anniversary Giveaway or add an additional Giveaway day to make it available to us, thank you.

    How long is this for? Need to level toons up to claim... dont think I can do in 1 day.

    Giveaways are active only around 24 hours... then they are gone (unless claimed in that time)

    Cryptic, thanks again. Both are good for account-wide too. The upgrades are one-time only received but account sharable. The Specialization Points can be selected once per character. To a fledgling it may not seem like an awesome gift, but it will help. I suggest not to use the upgrades till one of their bonus events.

    This time it is good till Monday, morning. So we have the week end to level up the toons.
