Why is my Dinaes warbird suddenly flying so slowly?

wideningxgyrewideningxgyre Member Posts: 710 Arc User
I was in the middle of the Counterpoint Advanced STF, just humming along an picking up landing parties and dropping them off. All of a sudden I'm flying at a snail's pace and getting beaten down.

What did I accidentally hit and how to I fix it? No one seems to know what's happening.

Probably due to one of the science ships in that STF..Evul sci magic... Did you look at you engine subsystem when you were slowed down, 0 points in Engines will effectively stop you (subsytem targeting from the sci ships)..Also No tractor beams on ya right?

The problem continued after the STF ended...it's still happening. Power levels appear normal for a Rom ship using the weapon preset - 100/30/15/15 (40 per subsystem).

It's almost as if I was hit with something like a drain or hold or whatever that has now bugged and won't go away - or, it's captain error and I pushed something I didn't mean to push.

Check to be sure you still have engine and warp core equipped.

Especially warp core - I've accidentally had a warp core not set when forgetting to hit loadout on a ship change and found myself at a crawl in sector space.

Well, it appears to have been a bug or something because it's magically fixed without my having done anything.
