Just a couple of things I'd like to see:
- More short-length male options, including the Picard(o) horseshoe and a slicked back male haircut that looks more like Data or Odo than Wolverine.
- More alien hairstyles, particularly Vorta-style and Neelix style. Also, ridged/high hairline-hairstyles adapted for a lower hairline and lower hairline styles adapted for ridged heads and high hairlines.
- The ability to use either nose type in conjunction with either eye type. Humanoid 02 nose with Humanoid 01 eyes (close to Avery Brooks) and Humanoid 02 eyes with a Humanoid 01 nose (ie. Patrick Stewart, I know the eyes are designed to be some type of Asian look but those eyes and nose work together in different combinations).
- Some less humanoid head-types in keeping with the Gorn/Caitians/Anticans(dog people, whose leader was played by Marc "Dukat" Alaimo)/Selay(King Cobra-heads).
- The ability to add streaks to hair similar to scars for the face. This could be like Data in All Good Things, like Rogue from X-Men, a "salt and pepper" overlay or the standard "Perry White"/"Mister Fantastic" light temples.
- More hand and feet types. This could include Gorn-style feet for custom aliens or bare, webbed feet like Crewman Dax in Star Trek VI, hooves. This could include Borg-implant hands, four fingered hands (TAS Orion males), three fingered hands (Turtle Power!), thumbless hands (TRIBBLE Van TRIBBLE sci-fi reference FTW), one glove (whether you're going for a Michael Jackson or demented space TRIBBLE look)
- Race-specific uniform variations on par with the Gorn's barefeet or boots option. (This is being discussed for S2, right?) This would mean baldrics for Klingons in Starfleet. Perhaps Bajoran militia uniforms for Bajorans. Orion-specific uniform options. Borg suits ala the Borg BOff's for Liberated Borg. One variation per race might be a nice goal although it might involve a few arbitrary decisions. (Ie. Nog's homemade Starfleet uniform for Ferengi? Picard's jacket for humans? Cloaks for Klingons? None of these are by necessity race restricted but they all reflect one race's fashion sense more and could help make premade races be more distinct as opposed to custom alien lookalikes.)
