I...disagree. It looks like a Bird of Prey (which, tbh, the Kelvin doesn't), with a deflector on the nose and weapons on the wings. I guess I just don't 'see' a 5/1 layout there any more than on any other ship.
I count six weapons on the wings alone, two more on the nose, an extra weapon if you count the torp launcher main deflector hybrid thing all BoPs have going.
What I'm trying to say is, if anything looks like it SHOULD have 5/1 weapons, it's the Hegh'ta. Hell, to be perfectly honest it looks like it should have 6/0 weapons but good luck ever getting that in the game (and if it does, it'll go to the Feds first, you know the one faction in the setting that's NOT all about the pew pew).
Yeah, the Hegh'ta's design really screams 5:1 doesn't it? Trouble is, like the Vor'cha and Negh'Var, any T6 variant will likely be constrained by the fact that its T5 predecessor hails from the era before 5 forward weapons was a thing.
Thus far, only the D7 / K't'inga has broken that rule when going to T6. I'm not holding hope of it happening again.
now that they fixed the cloaking device, might buy the modules and just spring for the fleet version at somepoint. But not until they have a sale or incentive, or my trigger finger gets to itchy.
Not a big fan of more than one character using the same ship other than for learning traits, and my one Fed I play is living in the T6 Nebula, love that ship.
Only ship I break my rule of only one character using a ship is the Mah'ta, still my favorite ship in the game. I think of her as a baby Vor'cha.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

5/1 doesn't mean it has to literally be 5 visible weapon ports, I'm saying it has a forward-focus weapon layout visible on the model, visible in a way very few other models are. The Ning'tao/Norgh is another model similar in that regard.
I never said 4/2 was 'ineffective', where the hell are you getting from?
How is the Ship in terms of resilience? I know the Nebula has that great high shields & hull.
Still debating grabbing the Fleet version for a toon. I have the Nebula on my Fed Sci. My main is a KDF ENG, who is basically showered with various special treatment and Lockbox Ships. KDF Privateer in service of the Empire, Spoils of war and all that.
Considering my Main's two Primary KDF ships are the T5U Tor'kaht and the Mah'ta, the Sci ship would visually fit in there.
Considering Grabning the Rom version for my Tact, but haven't decided, this is all very tentative, and somewhat dependent on what gets upgraded in the next Infinity Lock Box. Just raising funds for an undecided future.
Edit: I have 8 KDF toons, vs 2 fed, and 3 Rom, but dont like using the same ship on more than one character, and the ship trait doesnt appeal to me. Did snag the Nebula as she is one of my favorite Fed Ships.

So.....can anyone confirm that the cloak issue has been fixed on this ship? Can she cloak now?
I'm about to buy it, but I want to know if she can cloak first.

I can confirm. Cloak (standard, innate) works fine on it.

Thank you for the prompt info.
I guess I'll be heading towards the Ty'Gokor shipyards right about now, need to pick one up.
