    Stardate 2410/7 (Prime Universe)
    U.S.S. Oudenarde

    "Captain's Log,
Our investigation of the Kinjun Colony remains, may have of turned up a lead to the identity of their attackers. These ships were different, they were marked with red on the their hulls. By order of Starfleet Command, Kinjun has been sealed off pending a larger investigation into the matter."

Captain Valdez and Commander Solat were reviewing the evidence from Kinjun. "Jump into orbit and destroy the defenses and defenders first then move their troops and wipe out the ground facilities killing anyone in the way., classic Terran assault." Valdez said to his first officer. "Terrans usually have yellow marked hulls, Nathan" pointed out Solat, Valdez turned his computer monitor around and asked "I had Clemens test some of the debris, results came back as phaser residue. We may have a Terran problem here, put me through to command number one."

After three hours speaking to Starfleet Intelligence, Valdez had got his orders. He was to take the Oudenarde and an escort ship, the U.S.S. Meteor into the mirror universe and capture the the Terran officers responsible for an unprovoked attack on a federation colony. Valdez had requested both ships be provided with cloaking devices to keep a low profile. Starfleet said no to the cloaks. Valdez found his way into the mirror universe entering via the badlands, he was soon intercepted by a Terran Sovereign as he left the Badlands.

"This is Captain Naynta Lot of the I.S.S. Los Lobos, why are you trespassing Federation?" asked the Terran captain with her hail. Valdez returned the hail, audio only, "This is Captain Valdez of the Federation Starship Oudenarde, why would a Betazoid be commanding a Terran ship?" said Valdez. He was buying time so he could finish his scan of the Los Lobos' engine signature. It matched one of the signatures from the orbital crime scene at Kinjun.
"Cut the channel, all hands to battle stations, I repeat all hands to battle stations." ordered Valdez.

On the bridge of the Los Lobos, Naynta looked at her tactical officer and gave the order "battlestations". Naynta's first officer Jodi Iodakar kept saying "let's destroy this weak federation captain and be done with it" to her sister. Naynta showed caution however. Turning to her sister, she reminded her "I got a quick scan of this Federation captain, he's confident and he'll try and force us to play by his rules." On the bridge of the Oudenarde, Valdez ordered "Mr Flores, knock out their warp engines and weapons. Krasnova, get us really close to around 500m."
Krasnova replied, "Won't we get a little cooked at that range?". "Not as much as they will" replied Valdez. Solat watching a tactical monitor called in the Meteor. The Los Lobos was now in a two on one situation. Lot had worked out the Federation captain's battle plan. "He intends to disable us" Naynta said to Jodi, "Then just end this now and finish both of them, the federation is weak as are their captains" Jodi said.

The Oudenarde got to within 500 metres and opened up antimatter spreads jamming the Los Lobos' sensors, Flores asked "Permission to fire Captain?", Valdez just said one word "Granted". The Oudenarde now opened up a phaser barrage on the Los Lobos as the Meteor strafed the secondary hull. The Los Lobos responded and her first phaser barrage damaged the Meteor's port nacelle and the second Terran phaser barrage hit the Oudenarde amidship, Naynta still confident she could win ordered "Pull back to position alpha six, Jodi we are not retreating. We are pulling him further into our space." Valdez could see what was happening and decided to break off. Round one was a win for Naynta but her ship was in no condition to intercept the retreating Meteor. Both sides now got to repairing their vessels, both the Oudenarde and the Los Lobos had taken moderate damage with the Meteor being sent back to Federation space due to severe damage. Valdez was now a ship down, this Naynta Lot was good.

The I.S.S Vendetta and its escorts lay in orbit around Terra hidden behind the moon... Damaged, crippled, and alone. Victoria O'Brien fumed inside her environmental suit as she stalked through the deck, into a Jeffries tube, and entered the bridge.

She was glad, however, at least that the crews had pulled together and devised a plan to facilitate their own way of returning to their proper place in history... Once it became apparent that no one was coming... She was still angry about that.

As she checked the sensors, she managed a smile... The androids had finished the hangers and that meant that the living area of the bunker would be finished by the time Zalnos was woken for his shift of checking the stasis pods and increasingly small power reserves.... One month of sleep and then the real repairs could begin...

She hoped building (or at least completing everything save the weapon emplacements) the Imperial bunker early wouldn't be common knowledge once it was found....

She sighed dedeciding to risk checking the temporal sensors....

"When I find out who damaged my ship and stranded me in this century...." she growled to herself as the power supply autautomatically switched off the console.... Time to get back to her pod and out of this environmental sui, life support had been offline for nearly three years now as the moons core was dug oUT by their machines.

Soon, a nice hidden place to wait and repair her ships would be operational.... Then, she could figure out what was going on with time, and give some fools a piece of her mind!

Both the Oudenarde and Los Lobos were now deployed just out of weapons reach of each other. Naynta had tried to feint Valdez to follow her, he had not taken the bait. Naynta decided to try mind games and hailed the Oudenarde. "Captain, why the caution?" she asked Captain Valdez. Valdez now decided to play for time. "Captain Lot, do I look stupid?" Valdez sarcastically asked.

Meanwhile Solat and Trianna had managed to find the Los Lobos' prefix code, "I've got an idea, Commander" Trianna whispered to Solat. "Prefix code?." asked Solat. "All we've got" replied Trianna, "We just need the captain to buy us another minute or so." Captain Valdez cut the channel and turned to Trianna asking "you get their prefix code?" "It's ready captain" replied Trianna. Valdez hailed the Los Lobos, "Captain Lot, I'm laughing at you. You think you have me all figured out and now time for a taste in reality." said Valdez in an attempt to provoke Lot.

"Trianna, now", ordered Valdez. Trianna inputted the prefix code and soon the Los Lobos' shield began to drop, Naynta shouted, "Get them back or it's the booth for you". It made no difference as the Oudenarde got onto the Los Lobos' six o clock. "Target their shuttle bays" ordered Valdez and Flores fired a full phaser spread into the bays. Soon secondary explosions were ripping through the Los Lobos, Lot was even thrown off her chair by force of the saucer shuttlebay explosion. "Retreat, this round goes to the Federation" ordered Lot, with her weapons knocked out the she had no choice but to withdraw.

"Captain so far we are one for one against Captain Lot" Solat pointed out to Valdez. "I predict a comeback in round three" replied Valdez. "This Naynta Lot has one weakness, a weakness I intend to exploit." said Valdez, "her first officer is that weakness. I intend to make her angry". "Forcing Lot to make a mistake in the process" replied Solat, "exactly" said Valdez.

MU - Aftermath of the battle above
        I.S.S. Enterprise (Yellow)

"The Los Lobos has been critically damaged by the Federation vessels. She's pulling away, the Federation ship is not in pursuit and there are no signs they've detected us." Commander Oylumi said as she turned to Admiral Sito. "Should we destroy this feddie ship?" she asked filling the bridge with a giggle.

Sito looked at Oylumi dazzled by what she just witnessed. "That was a clever move. Using our own command codes against us." Sito smiled to herself for a brief moment. "Send a message to Admiral Heath. Advise them of the situation and have her Los Lobos rendezvous with us immediately." "I can't wait to hear Naynta's excuses for this incident" Sito said sarcastically.

"What of the enemy ship, ma'am?" Oylumi asked while pointing at the vessel on the view screen. "Should we destroy it?"

"No" Sito calmly responded to Oylumi. "They've earned their victory today. Let them return to the Federation."

"Ma'am they have intruded into Terran-" Oylumi protested only to have Sito place her finger over Oylumi's lips. "Shhh ... despite the damage to the Los Lobos. This battle is a victory for her. She was able to destroy one of their ships while surviving to fight another day." Oylumi stepped back responding to Sito quietly so the others on the Bridge couldn't hear. "What if they continue into Terran Space?" Sito turned to Oylumi sliding her hand down the side of Oylumi's spots.

"Then you have my consent to make the commander of the Oudenarde suffer."

        Aftermath of battle (Mirror Universe)

Captain Valdez had withdrawn the Oudenarde to carry out repairs. On his own in hostile territory without support, Valdez had decided to play it safe. The battle must have drawn more enemy attention than he intended.
"Scan for any nebulas nearby, I need a place where sensors will be blinded." Valdez ordered. Clemens scanned the sector, "Got one at 8 light years Captain" replied Clemens. "Helm set course for the nebula, maximum warp" ordered Valdez.

30 minutes later, the Oudenarde was in the nebula. Commander Imozel reported from engineering that damage control teams were repairing decks 16 through 18. Valdez was concerned, stranded and alone in enemy territory, he had to be creative. Terran forces would be hunting him and retreat back to Federation space was a remote chance at best. "We were being watched" replied Solat, "I saw the sensor echoes" replied Valdez.

For round three, Valdez intended to bait Lot into making a mistake by angering her first officer. Leaving the nebula, the Oudenarde now fired a sensor probe into Terran space. If there were any Terran forces hunting the Oudenarde, the probe might get their attention. "All warfare is based on deception, number one" said Valdez. "Will they follow the probe?" asked Solat. "We'll make them think we are retreating, in reality I intend to hunt down Naynta Lot" replied Valdez.

Picking up the damaged Los Lobos on sensors, Valdez decided to intercept it. "Send them a hail" ordered Valdez. Lot returned the hail. "Well played Captain" replied Lot. Valdez now brought his plan into action. "I bet your sister is not a happy hybrid with having her day ruined. Would that be the human side or betazoid side by any chance?" he said clearly seeing Jodi getting madder and madder. "Naynta, this thing called me a half breed" said Jodi, "just kill him and that be the end of it." Naynta knew what Valdez was up to, he was trying to goad her into making a rash move. "Jodi, leave the bridge. Sutherland you are acting first officer" Nayta ordered. "Captain Valdez, I underestimated you." she said to Valdez over the hail. Valdez looked at his tactical monitor, another I.S.S. Los Lobos was on the way. Naynta tried her mind games again, "My reinforcements are on the way, you are alone" she said to Valdez. Valdez knew she was right, the Oudenarde had been in worse spots though.

Valdez cut the channel, Trianna said to her father, "She scanned you telepathically". "I know" replied Valdez. "Something I can thank Teanna for" said Valdez, "What's that father?" asked Trianna. "Teanna taught me to hide thoughts" replied Valdez, "Naynta Lot will be fighting this battle to my rules". "Mr Flores, lock onto the Los Lobos, work with Krasnova on this" ordered Valdez. "This is our course of action, Krasnova fly us to within 400m of the Los Lobos, as you make the starboard turn Mr Flores will open up with a close range raking broadside. For this to work, you two need to be on the same page, Trianna, Clemens start jamming their sensors. Chief, get all damage control crews to their stations" Solat then reported all departments ready.

The Oudenarde streaked in at full impulse, On the bridge of the Los Lobos, Naynta Lot watched the attack run develop, "He'll flinch at the last second, when he does, we blow him out of the stars" ordered Lot. On the bridge of the Oudenarde, Valdez called "distance to target", Flores reported 1000m, "Wait" ordered Valdez, ever judging the right moment, "400m". "Now" ordered Valdez. The Oudenarde made a sharp turn to starboard and at point blank range opened up a raking broadside against the Los Lobos. "Damage report" ordered Lot. "Decks 10 through 14 sections alpha 1 through 4 completely destroyed. Warp engines are out too, shields down 50%". "Why are we not hitting them?" Lot asked to her tactical officer. "Our sensors cannot lock on Maam" reported the Los Lobos tactical officer. The Oudenarde then came round for another pass pounding away, the Los Lobos was scoring hits but the sensor jamming was doing it's job. "Another Terran ship incoming, it's the Los Lobos" reported Flores, "Get us out of here, if this mission has got anything of worth, it's the confirmation of two terran empires" ordered Valdez. Krasnova turned the ship around and headed back to the Badlands at Maximum warp. Valdez may have failed to get Lot but he had found an intelligence coup.

Stardate 2410/7 Badlands region (Red mirror universe)

"Looks like Naynta Lot got a dose of reality" said Captain Valdez on the I.S.S. Oudenarde. "Certainly creative though" replied Commander Tianna Valdez. "From what I've been told, the damage is bad. We'll be at Los Lobos' position in ten minutes. Valdez then contacted Doctor Jorel and ordered him to "prep sickbay for casualties"

The I.S.S. Oudenarde arrived at Lot's position and began to survey the damage. "Status of crew?" asked Valdez to Clemens, "200 dead, a further 150 wounded. Life support is failing all over the Los Lobos" reported Clemens. "Bridge to transporter room, beam the Los Lobos survivors to sickbay." ordered Valdez. "What are the chances of Naynta Lot storming up here and claiming she did not need rescuing?" asked Valdez to Teanna. "I'll give about two minutes" replied Teanna. Teanna's prediction came true as Naynta Lot came storming onto the bridge. "Captain Valdez, I did not need to be rescued" yelled Naynta. "Told you" replied Teanna to Valdez.

"Captain Lot, to say the admiral is not happy about this is the understatement of the century" said Valdez, "How many crew did I lose?" asked Naynta. "200 dead, 150 wounded. We beamed all the survivors off the Los Lobos." replied Valdez. "The Los Lobos will also be out of commission for a while." he also pointed out to Naynta. Naynta was still fuming over the bloody nose suffered at the hands of the U.S.S. Oudenarde, "Learn from it Captain Lot" said Valdez, "Sometimes you get out foxxed, it's nothing to be ashamed of. It can happen to the best of us".

Valdez had placated Naynta Lot at least, Jodi then came storming up to the bridge. Valdez had read Jodi's file, hot headed, impulsive and extreme anger issues all went into the same sentence. "Captain Valdez, we did not need to be rescued." shouted Jodi right at Valdez's face, he just stood firm against the verbal barrage. "Captain Lot, reign in your sister" asked Valdez politely. "Your greatest failure Miss Iodakar, being angry leads to mistakes" Valdez told Jodi right to her face. "Your crew keep thinking half breed about me" Jodi yelled at Valdez. "Rise above it, that's what I do" replied Trianna Valdez.

"Captain Lot, my ready room" said Valdez. In the ready room, Valdez revealed his orders. "The Federation had launched a raid into Terran space, the empire has decided to repay the favour. The I.S.S. Oudenarde was to enter federation space and disrupt enemy shipping." For the 2 week mission, the crews of the Los Lobos and the Oudenarde would have to learn to get along. For that purpose, Valdez in a show of faith drafted Naynta Lot as acting first officer and mission co-commander. 12 hours later, the Oudenarde arrived in federation space and began hunting.

"Found a target at 16 light years, 2 federation frigates escorting a convoy of merchant shipping." reported Flores. Krasnova set course and 20 minutes later, came out of warp on the convoy's six o clock. "Mr Flores, I want both port and starboard firing arcs activated." ordered Valdez, "Krasnova bring us to with 500 metres of the rear escort." was Valdez's next order. "Lock forward Photons" ordered Lot. Flores obeyed her order and photon tubes were loaded. The Oudenarde attacked at full impulse between the escorts and opened up both port and starboard broadsides into the frigates quickly destroying them. Lot ordered Krasnova to fly down the ranks of ships as Flores fired in all directions, smashing ship after ship in the convoy. Of the 22 merchant ships in the convoy, only 3 got out. "21 kills on our first convoy raid" pointed out Valdez to Lot, "Nicely done" replied Naynta.

"You do not under any circumstance toy with an enemy, you destroy them quickly and efficiently" advised Valdez.

            Stardate 2410/7, Cardassian Sector (Prime)

Operation Wingate was proceeding according to plan, Captain Valdez on the I.S.S. Oudenarde had reason to be pleased, Naynta Lot was proving to be a useful asset to the operation. In two days, she had accounted for 40 merchant ships. So far both crews were somehow working together with a few minor incidents onboard. On the bridge, Ensign Hunter made the mistake of thinking "bloody half breeds". Jodi and Trianna both took offense to the thought, Jodi wanted to shoot Hunter on the spot but Trianna simply walked up to him and kneed him where it hurt. Both Jodi and Trianna laughed about it afterwards, Jodi then grabbed Hunter and bounced his head off the operations console and said "Don't call me half breed again, you're lucky you are Captain Valdez's crew. I would have shot you on the spot if this was the Los Lobos".

The drama on the bridge was interrupted by Clemens who reported "Federation star ship at 15 light years away at bearing 013". Immediately both crews got to battlestations. Valdez decided to put Naynta in command for this fight. "Your show Captain" said Valdez to Naynta. Naynta just smiled. She then gave out her orders, "Helm set an intercept course. Engineering, I want all damage control crews ready on standby. Ensign Valdez, Lt Clemens, when we get into range of enemy, jam their sensors". All obeyed without question. Within 25 minutes, the Oudenarde had intercepted the enemy.

"What ship is that?" asked Lot, "It's the U.S.S. Wolfe maam, Excelsior class heavy cruiser" reported Clemens. Trianna had been busy, she had broken into the Wolfe's computer network, "Maam, I might have an idea." reported Trianna. Lot walked over to Trianna's station and asked "What do you have in mind?". "I found their prefix codes" replied Trianna. Naynta had fallen victim to the prefix code trick before. "Helm, get us to within 500m of the enemy but bring us in on their six o clock." ordered Lot. "Tactical, can you land a photon spread into their shuttlebay?" Lot asked Flores. "Yes Maam" reported Flores.

"Taking a few notes from my counterpart I see" said Captain Valdez, Naynta smiled. The Oudenarde closed the distance with the Wolfe, "Ensign Valdez, input the prefix code" ordered Lot. Trianna entered the code and the Wolfe's shields dropped. "Tactical, target the shuttlebay and fire" was her next order. Flores obeyed and fired a full spread into Wolfe's shuttlebay. The secondary hull was now being wrecked by secondary explosions, Lot now ordered "Helm bring us in to a circular course, tactical I want you to light them up with broadsides. Target their warp engines and weapons." The Oudenarde was now circling the crippled USS Wolfe like a shark circling it's prey, the first broadside wrecked the nacelles and warp drive, the second knocked out weapons and communications. "They can no longer fight back maam" reported Flores, Naynta had been toying with the Wolfe. She had crippled it and now she decided to end the engagement. "Tactical, target the bridge and life support systems" Lot ordered. Flores obeyed the order and opened up at 600m wrecking the Wolfe's bridge and killing the entire bridge crew in one strike. Life support followed next and Naynta ordered "Target their warp reactor". Flores locked on and fired, the U.S.S. Wolfe's reactor went critical and the ship began to tear itself apart, within two minutes the Wolfe was nothing more than floating wreckage. "Scan for survivors" ordered Captain Valdez. There were no survivors let alone escape pods.

"Good kill Captain Lot" remarked Captain Valdez, Naynta replied back, "Call me Naynta, after all we are both captains here." "Call me Nathan then" replied Captain Valdez. The moment of victory was slightly soured by Jodi losing her temper again. "Naynta, why must you play with your victims?" asked Jodi losing her temper. "Naynta, your sister has a point" Valdez pointed out, "You tried toying with my counterpart and he took advantage of that". "Thank you Captain Valdez" replied Jodi as she calmed down. "Miss Iodakar, when we get back to Terran space, you need to get anger management. Being angry all the time leads to rash action" Valdez replied. "Naynta, leadership is not intimidating your crew with violence, ambition can be a weakness as well as a strength. A star ship crew has to be a well oiled machine, any weak link the whole thing breaks down and the captain is at the top of that machine." Valdez advised. "Toying with your victims can often lead to trouble, ending a fight as quickly and efficiently as possible is a much safer option."

The Oudenarde was now back on her way to Terran space, all objectives of Operation Wingate had been achieved. Federation trade routes in the Cardassia sector had been disrupted with 5 federation star ships and 80 merchant transports destroyed in combat. Crossing into Terran space 3 hours laters, Valdez ordered "Set course for Terok Nor". Krasnova obeyed the order. "Send a secure message to the Enterprise, tell the good fleet admiral the results of Operation Wingate." Clemens sent the message. "Naynta, I look forward to working with you and your crew again in the future, we make one hell of a team" said Valdez to Captain Lot. Jodi went up to Trianna's station, "Your last name, any relation to your Captain? " asked Jodi to Trianna, "The captain is my father and the first officer is my mother" replied Trianna. Jodi offered her friendship to Trianna, after all they were both a child of two worlds. Trianna accepted Jodi's offer.

The U.S.S. Entreri'is scanned the debris of the U.S.S. Wolfe... "Same as before, Scale?" Emma Roy asked her Saurian tactical office.
"Definitely Terran signatures again, Shade. But they're to old for the enemy to have stayed close."
"This one is interesting... Playing cat and mouse with our forces..." Emma placed her fist under her chin. "Any word from Admiral Shivorn and the Avalon?"
"The last report said that her task force repelled the Empire at Bajor and intercepted the stragglers... But the head science officer is still unaccounted for." The Batazoid communication specialist claimed soberly.

Roy, closed her eyes sighed. "Looks like I get to speak with Drake again... " she thought to herself. She loathed it when he decided to assign her crew 'vital missions'.

              "Get us to DS9."

              Deep Space Nine
The walk to the conference room felt longer than usual. She hadn't expected Daniels to be there, or some other person who fit the description. Looking at the others at the table she saw, both leaders of the Levtro System High-Protector Soreth of the RDF, and the Molindrans princess Entara Zepoli... Then Franklin Drake, as unreadable as ever.

"We need someone with your skills, Shade." Drake said using her codename.

              Donatu Sector (Mirror universe) 2390

The Entreri'is closed in on the Terran Sovereign class and then the expertise of the Federation Intelligence special-ops crew kicked in.
First they scrambled the sensors, and then fired 7 shots... Shields, comnunications, engines, weapons... Then life support.

The Phantom recloacked and waited for the crew to die.... By the time Emma and her crew finally overlaoded the enemy warp core, their own ship would register as Terran.

"Anyone going with me put on these Uniforms." Roy ordered. "Remember avoid any Tholians, and your mental training, hopefully Daniles anti- telepathy. Pysco, you're with me." she told the Batazoid, as she gestured to the Imperial garments in the armoire.

The ship entered the Nukara system, only to find the enemy was is no position to do much in their own defense at present. The entire system seemed crippled.... Even if the Ship's cloak wasn't up they probably could have done their job just by masking the power signal.

Emma and her 3 other team mates beamed down just as the SC Veel’Riz began a brief hit and run attack, on the defenders... The Entreri'is warped away heading towards the Terran Defiant they'd been ordered to capture, and use for extraction of their spies later....

Roy had had her work cut out for her. But this wasn't the first deep cover assignment of her career.

              ______
Battlegroup Scythe was currently inflicting a deep wound to the Imperials... With the astounding computer virus Triana Valdez had given them, and the loss of power and possibly food supplies, they had found themselves in a rather precarious position.
Veel'Riz had ordered his force to only engage for 5 minutes, and disengage at the first sign of Tholian ships... He'd only lost one frigate, for nearly 57 downed enemies... In that last moment however his force was met with Iconian weapons fire...

Victoria Rishis O'Brien was ecstatic in this moment. Sitting on the newly repaired bridge of the Vendetta as her rescued forces had finished with the repairs to the rest of the fleet... Finally transporting out of the bunkers hanger from inside Terra's moon, had been a sight to see...
She smirked, the Klingons had actually thought she'd talk before eradicating the megar force they'd sent at her... Idiots.

"Activate the Manheim device as soon as we drope out of warp.... Fire a full torpedo spread. Let's go!"

The dreadnoughts sudden appearance brought an immediate end to the battle as the Romulans retreated. But Victoria wasn't feeling merciful today.
Using the temporal rift stabilizers, multiple warbirds were caught in a gravity crushing anomaly, as destroyed.

Zalnous took a bit of liberty to hail the incoming Tarantula. "Tholian vessel, this is the ISS Vendetta. If you impede this ship or its escorts in any way you will be fired upon. This will be your only warning!"

"Ah, nothing like killing some greenbloods in the morning don't you think Marion?" Victoria said, as she stood up and went to the transporter room.

"Ha, there's better ways to wake up." He said as the turbo lift closed.

O'Brien beamed directly to the bridge of the I.S.S Valdez, and looked Solat in the eyes, furious as she remembered the original reason for this visit.
"Where is your Captain Vulcan? He did quite a lot of damage to my ship." Victoria growled.

              Stardate 2410/7 Cardassian Sector (Prime)

Captain Valdez and his senior officers were sat in the observation room on the U.S.S. Oudenarde discussing the latest Terran attacks. "80 merchant ships and 5 federation starships destroyed" reported Commander Solat. "How much disruption has this caused to the rebuilding process on Cardassia?" asked Captain Valdez, Solat's answer was always to the point, "it could derail the programme by six months tops". she replied. "Yesterday at 0600 Starfleet Command lost contact with the U.S.S. Wolfe." reported Captain Valdez. "Did they send a distress signal?" asked Trianna, Valdez just looked at her and replied "They never got time to". Valdez then ordered a course change set to the Wolfe's last position.

Arriving at the battle scene, the Oudenarde raised her shields and commenced her scans, Captain Valdez and Trianna took a runabout to further investigate the wreckage. Trianna let out a scream as bodies of the Wolfe's crew bounced off the runabout window. "Don't let it get to you Trianna, just focus on your task." said Valdez trying to calm her down. "I had friends from the academy on the Wolfe, father" replied Trianna, "Don't let it distract you, can you retrieve the computer core?" ordered Valdez. "Runabout Scipio to Oudenarde, prepare the cargo bays to act as a morgue. We're not leaving the Wolfe's crew behind alive or dead". Solat acknowledged the order and the Scipio returned to the Oudenarde. Trianna had retrieved the computer core and immediately started work in her tech lab on piecing together what exactly happened. "Interesting" Trianna said, "You found something?" asked Captain Valdez. "From the start of the engagement, the Wolfe was without her shields. The attacker has used the Wolfe's own prefix code against her. The first strike was on the Wolfe's shuttlebay followed up by warp engines, communications and weapons." reported Trianna, "the crew never stood a chance either, a phaser and photon strike wiped out their bridge and life support systems. The warp core was the last strike." Trianna said finishing her report. "Did they identify their attacker?" Valdez asked Trianna, Trianna managed to get the sensor data, "I.S.S. Oudenarde" she reported back.

"Valdez to bridge, get a secure com channel open to Starfleet Intelligence. I'll take the call in my ready room" Captain Valdez ordered. "Trianna get all this data compiled, Starfleet Intelligence will need to see the evidence." was his next order.

Stardate 2410/7 Betazed orbit (Mirror, red)

The I.S.S. Oudenarde was at back at base, the Regent of Betazed was interested in the results of Operation Wingate and insisted on debriefing Captain Valdez herself. "Two weeks with Naynta must have been stressful" said Regent Lot to Captain Valdez. "My counterpart humiliated her" replied Valdez, "Naynta got a second chance and she's an excellent officer. If only she would stop playing games with her opponents though" said Valdez. "Miss Iodokar does have a point about Naynta. I'll be keeping an eye on her, once she overcomes her anger issues, she'll make a great captain" he pointed out to Regent Lot. "80 merchant ships destroyed and 5 Federation starships destroyed. Naynta accounting for 40 merchant ships and a Federation Heavy Cruiser when you put her in acting command, I'm impressed." replied Regent Lot.

"Why may I ask, did you call it Operation Wingate?" asked Regent Lot. "Named for General Orde Wingate, he was a master of unconventional warfare during Terra's World War 2 maam" replied Valdez. "My fighting style is unconventional, get behind enemy lines and do as much damage as possible before withdrawing back to our lines" pointed out Valdez to the Regent. "I read your file Captain, someone who studies military history is of use to the Empire, the Empire needs intelligent captains who know how to fight to their strengths." replied Regent Lot, "I hear you've promised your crew a month's shore leave as a reward for their hard work, as long as your people obey Betazed laws and respect our customs I'll have no problems with them." said Regent Lot, "Thank you Regent" said Captain Valdez.

"Your mind, it seems troubled Captain" said Regent Lot, "maam?" asked Valdez. "Just a little stress" Valdez said. "Trianna recently ended up in my brig, Ensign Hawke called her a mongrel and well she took offense and put him into a Kimura lock. Hawke is still in sickbay getting a broken arm repaired." Regent Lot laughed, "Never easy bringing up a Terran/Betazoid hybrid daughter, Captain. Jodi is much the same, her temper lands her in trouble constantly." "Agreed" replied Valdez, "By time Teanna is finished with Trianna, Trianna will learn that losing one's temper and injuring her colleagues is not a good idea."

              2390 Nukara (Mirror)

RA Solat was not happy that "Empress" O'Brien had beamed onto her bridge unannounced demanding to see Valdez. "Excellency, Admiral Valdez was killed in action recently in combat with the Romulans." said Solat calmly. "Your mines damaged my ships and killed a lot of my troops" yelled an angry Victoria O'Brien. "Those mines were intended to block any Romulan Star Union from entering Terran space, it is most regrettable that the IFF systems were highly experimental and would set the mines off any temporal signature" replied Solat. "Why are your forces having power issues?" asked Victoria O'Brien. "The Romulans had help from the Federation, our systems have been infected by a series of Iconian viruses. Every time we clean one out, another virus takes it's place" replied Solat.

Trianna stepped up and said to O'Brien, "It was the work of my counterpart, looking at the chaos it's causing to our computer network. It's going to take weeks to clean up this mess". O'Brien ordered her ships isolate their computers as a precaution to any further computer attacks.

                Cool reads.

Captain (later Admiral) Naynta Lot is from the red universe.

Commander Lot is from the yellow-verse and would have been serving under Captain (later Admiral) Heath Layress.

Both were promoted to Admiral by Sito, Heath to serve as her XO, and Naynta to oversee the Red Terran Empire forces loyal to Sito.

Would Sito approve of raiding incursions into Federation space?

As strategy, unconventional warfare would put the Federation off balance. Valdez studied the WW2 Chindit operations and decided to employ similar tactics to get an edge over the Empire's enemies.

Sito: 'You can continue your own personal war against the Federation if that is your desire, Captain. Keeping the Federation distracted is about the only valid tactic Admiral Leeta has left us with for now. With much of the fleet that was assigned to the Badlands either destroyed or simply gone, the Federation has easy access to sectors of the Badlands we once controlled.

Until the traitor and her supporters have been dealt with, there will be no large scale incursions into the other reality.'

If Sito offered Valdez promotion to Admiral, He would turn it down to remain with his crew.
Historically, the Chindits were British and Indian troops under the command of Orde Wingate who carried out two long range operations behind Japanese lines in Burma. Their objectives were to wreck Japanese logistics and do as much damage as possible. Valdez has the same thing in mind against the Federation, having Naynta Lot covering his wing would be beneficial to the operation.

                    Stardate 2410/8 Badlands (MU)

I.S.S. Oudenarde had taken station with 4 other ships, the I.S.S. Meteor, I.S.S. Wolfe, I.S.S. Los Lobos and I.S.S. Wingate. Captain Valdez presented his plan for another raid into Federation territory, "Ladies and gentlemen, Operation Chindit. Our objective will be a raid against Federation trade routes in the Bajor Sector." Naynta Lot asked "Who is the secondary commander in this operation?" Captain Valdez had put some thought into this, "The Los Lobos will be the secondary command ship." he said to all the captains in the room.

Naynta smiled at being Valdez's right hand captain. "We have 5 ships Captain Valdez" Captain Solat responded, "What good is that if the other Starfleet decide to respond to our incursion?" she finished with. "5 ships, we will act as a wolfpack against their merchant convoys in the sector, quick hit and run strikes to keep them off balance." replied Valdez.

The raiding force set off and within 4 hours they were in Federation space. Before long the raiders had sighted their first convoy, "12 merchant transports escorted by 4 Frigates at bearing 167 mark 2" reported Clemens. "Send the signal to the rest of the force" ordered Teanna Valdez. "Los Lobos, take position on my right, the rest move to the flanks" ordered Valdez. The raiders intercepted the convoy and all ships moved into attack position, the Meteor and Wingate drew off the escorts as the rest of the raiders hit the convoy of merchant ships from all angles. "Valdez to Los Lobos, I'll attack from the left" he ordered, "I've got them on the right" replied Lot. The raiders hammered the convoy mercilessly, within less than 10 minutes the convoy was floating debris and the raiders had withdrawn having achieved total surprise.

Operation Chindit was off to a good start, 12 merchant ships destroyed and all escorts destroyed with zero Terran losses. Valdez knew the Federation would have to respond to this attack and respond they did. "2 Federation starships at 20 light years, bearing 134 mark 2" Clemens reported. "Set an intercept course, all ships match your course to ours" ordered Valdez. Responding to the attack was the U.S.S. Trafalgar and U.S.S. Bulldog, Valdez had accounted for this eventuality. "Los Lobos, we'll be the centre of the line, all other form up on the flanks. Here is how we will engage the enemy, Oudenarde and Los Lobos will hit them head on to pin them in place. Flanking ships will form the horns to encircle and destroy them" he ordered.

The raiders intercepted the Federation ships and put the plan into operation. Oudenarde's and Los Lobos' first strikes knocked out engines and communications, the second strike knocked out the weapons on both ships. Valdez gave the signal and the horns closed in and encircled the the 2 trapped Federation ships. Both Federation captains tried to plead for mercy but Valdez and Lot both agreed to show no quarter, Naynta gave the order "Finish them", within a matter of minutes both Federation ship were reduced to floating wrecks. "Destroy the escape pods Mr Flores" ordered Valdez and the raiders did a very thorough job. The raiders regrouped and withdrew leaving no clue they were ever there.

Soon another convoy was detected and the raiders set an intercept course, 20 minutes laters they intercepted the convoy. It was a medical shipment to Minos Corvos consisting of 4 Olympic class hospital ships, "All ships prepare to attack, lets be quick about this" ordered Valdez. The raiding force got into position to envelope the convoy, "All ships, attack" ordered Captain Lot. The raiders did their job well, the hospital ships were destroyed before they could get a distress signal off. "The Federation will be hunting us down for this" replied Teanna, Valdez decided to withdraw back to Terran space. Within 6 hours the raiders were back in Terran space having disrupted Federation convoy routes.

                      U.S.S. Oudenarde.

Captain Nathan Valdez was sat in his ready room speaking with Starfleet Intelligence, "I'm sorry Nathan, but these Terran raids are a minor annoyance in the big picture. We cannot divert resources to covering the badlands given the current political climate" said Admiral Nagata. "Sir, with respect a hospital convoy on it's way to Minos Corvos was attacked and destroyed 12 hours ago. Civilians are being attacked." Valdez protested. "Nathan, we've already lost over 100 ships to these raids, we cannot afford more losses Nagata out." Nagata replied.

Valdez was livid when Trianna entered, "You're stressed again, what's the problem?" she said to Captain Valdez. "Starfleet top brass, they don't have a clue how bad things are out here. The politicians are even worse." Valdez replied back. "What do we know?" asked Trianna, Captain Valdez handed over the PADD. After reading the latest reports, Trianna's mood changed to anger. "A hospital convoy, how could they? Medical ships are supposed to be noncombatants." replied Trianna astounded at this level of ruthlessness. "12 merchant ships and 6 starships as well." replied Captain Valdez. "Same raiders?" Trianna asked, "Same pattern of attack, by the way we're on the next convoy." replied Captain Valdez. "This convoy will be heavily guarded, we need to get those supplies to Minos Corvos" Captain Valdez said to Trianna. "Oh great convoy duty, the crew are going to really love this father" Trianna replied sarcastically.

"I got in touch with the Klingon High Council, they're willing to help us. They see the Terrans as dishonorable." Captain Valdez said smiling. Trianna looked at the convoy set up, "25 food and dilithium transports, 10 hospital ships escorted by 15 Starfleet ships and 16 Klingon bird of preys, impressive force" noted Trianna. "Those raiders are going to get a rude shock" quipped Captain Valdez.
                      ...............................................................................................................................................
                      Stardate 2410/8 Bajor Sector (Prime)

                      I.S.S. Oudenarde

Captain Valdez watched the Mino Corvos convoy form up from a discrete distance, his raiding force was back in Federation space. "25 transports and 10 hospital ships escorted by 15 federation ships and another 16 Klingon bird of preys" reported Clemens. Captain Valdez decided not to attack, 5 ships against 31 escorts was long odds.

Captain Mckean pressed for an attack, "Captain Valdez, you are a coward. You deny me glory for the empire." Captain Valdez decided that the Meteor crew were too untrustworthy and hailed the Meteor.
"You want glory fine, but you and your crew will fight alone." Naynta Lot then added her input. "I've never trusted you Mckean, I agree with Captain Valdez on this" she calmly said to Mckean. "Go if you want Mckean, you will not make it back." Captain Valdez said. The Oudenarde, Wingate,Los Lobos and Wolfe all jumped to warp and Mckean made his attack run. It was over in a matter of seconds with the destruction of the I.S.S. Meteor long before it got to the convoy.

"Deals with that problem" Captain Valdez said to Naynta laughing. "We've found another target Nathan, your operations officer should be getting the data now." reported Captain Lot. "Federation starships at 30 light years, ETA one hour at maximum warp. The raiders set off to intercept and an hour later they intercepted the U.S.S. Scheer. "Los Lobos, we'll form the centre, Wolfe and Wingate form the horns."Captain Valdez ordered. "All ships in position" reported Naynta via her communication console. Jodi was at her station, "Remember Naynta, don't play with them." said Jodi.

Oudenarde and Los Lobos launched the opening attack, Captain Alexander on the Scheer had to divide her fire against two targets. Captain Alexander's face turned to a look of horror when Wolfe and Wingate swept round. "All ships, interlock your fields of fire." ordered Captain Valdez as the raiders now circled the U.S.S. Scheer. "Fire" ordered Naynta and the raiders opened up from all angles. "Nathan, you have a right witch's cauldron here" Naynta joked over her communication console. "Nice, a suitable name Naynta" Valdez replied back laughing. For Captain Alexander it was over and in a matter of minutes, the Scheer lost control and started to roll over. 30 seconds later, she erupted into a massive explosion with all hands lost.

"Why did we avoid attacking that convoy?" asked Naynta. "All warfare is based on deception Naynta, it was a trap set for us, Mckean was stupid enough to fall for it. All those escorts ships were tied down protecting that convoy, that left us free to attack elsewhere. We strike when and where we are least expected, it gets into the enemy's head, they don't know where we will strike next and when we strike next and that terrifies them" replied Captain Valdez. "Manipulating your opponent into making a mistake, you do like like mess with your opponent's heads. If I get promoted to admiral, your talents and loyalty to me will not be forgotten Nathan. We could stay and cause the Federation more headaches " replied Naynta. "The idea of small scale raids is to keep the enemy off balance, we are not here to defeat the federation, merely to cause as much disruption and chaos as possible before sprinting back to our lines." pointed out Captain Valdez,

"Naynta, the regent herself has taken a personal interest in these operations, she is interested in the idea of unconventional warfare" he said to Naynta. "What did mother say about me?" asked Naynta, "Stop playing with your victims, her exact words and Jodi, control your temper, again her exact words. She's also impressed by the results so far. "Finally Naynta, we attack where they are weak but avoid where they are strong" replied Captain Valdez. 6 hours later the raiders were back in Terran space.

At least her team hadn't been worried about being scrambled by the shields. She'd managed to identify the best locations for some hidden explosives, and exploitable 'system failures'. Either slow the Terran operations, or remove the Snake's head... For now though she had a Cardasian scientist to interrogate. This one had rather foolishly lead the Terrans to think he'd previously encountered a Iconian virus, and now she'd been the security officer assigned to observe the extreme measures the Terrans were going to get him to talk... Honestly she was betting that this guy, had figured out that the prisoner had lied... Did he think what he was doing to this Spoon head was impressive or something?

Cooper rolled his eyes, and looked back at the whimpering Cardasian, Roy took the opportunity and shot him...
"What are you doing!?" Cooper spat as the Spoon Head slumped for ward.

"Obviously I ended a needless idiot, who thought lying to us and wasting our time was a good idea!" she retorted. 'And preventing more torture from you, pig.' She thought to herself.

                        Now to select his 'target'...

The U.S.S. Oudenarde with a small squadron of Romulan escorts were out hunting, Terran convoys were trying to run Veel'Riz's blockade. Captain Valdez co-ordinated the attack from the Oudenarde with the Romulan captains. "All ships from up in a flying wedge, flanks draw away the escorts, I'll lead the attack in from the centre" ordered Captain Valdez. The attack went in and with less than 10 minutes the convoy was destroyed, "All friendlies accounted for, 1 casualty and it's serious." replied Clemens.

Captain Valdez immediately saw the casualty and it nearly broke him. During the fighting, a stray hit had caused Trianna's console to blow out, throwing her across the bridge and embedding a piece of debris straight into her right leg. "Solat, take command and get us back to Haakona" he ordered. He carried Trianna to sickbay himself and put her into intensive care. Doctor Jorel did his examination and turned to Captain Valdez, "Sir, the piece of debris has cut the main artery in her right leg. If I remove the debris and try and save the leg, there is a 90% chance it could kill her. The only other option is to immediately amputate and seal up." reported Jorel. Captain Valdez now collapsed onto a chair with tears running down his face, regaining a measure of composure he replied to Jorel, "Amputate, she'll hate me for it later but at least she'll still be alive, I'll be borrowing your office Doctor."

The Oudenarde and the rest of the raiders got back to Haakona a couple of hours later, their hunt had been successful but a great personal cost to Captain Valdez. "If you insist on using thalaron weapons, use them against a military target" advised Captain Valdez to Veel'Riz on the Oudenarde. "I heard you took a casualty Captain Valdez" replied Veel'Riz as he turned and saw Trianna in a bad way. Lt Jane Clemens walked into sickday and saluted both Captain Valdez and Star Commander Veel'Riz. "How's Trianna doing?" she asked Captain Valdez, Captain Valdez told that Trianna had lost her right leg below the knee. Clemens immediately got a seat and sat down along Trianna's bed to keep her company. Captain Valdez noticed and smiled, he knew about Trianna's and Clemens' relationship. Clemens considered Trianna as a little sister.

                        Stardate 2410/8 Badlands (Prime)

The U.S.S. Oudenarde was out on patrol in the Badlands, Captain Valdez had decided to catch the raiders in a net. Captain Kagran had sent 2 squadrons of Vor'chas and twelve Klingon Bird of Preys to help. Starfleet seeing the scale of the problem sent a squadron of Hestias to close the Badlands breach. Captain Valdez had been given command of the Badlands operation.

He positioned his ships to form a tachyon detection net covering the trans dimensional rift, any raiders trying to run the blockade would be detected and destroyed. Soon the net had picked up it's first catches, 3 Terran Mercury class warships were caught and 2 of them destroyed, the third had surrendered. "This should get their attention" thought Captain Valdez. Later in the afternoon at 1300 hours, the net picked up a large raiding force. "Identify the lead ships" ordered Captain Valdez, Clemens reported "The I.S.S. Los Lobos and the I.S.S. Oudenarde". "Put me ship wide" ordered Captain Valdez, Clemens opened the channel. "This is the captain, we may be facing our counterparts here, all hands to battlestations." Captain Valdez said, "Trianna lock out our computers", Trianna locked out the computer.

On the I.S.S. Oudenarde, Mirror Valdez prepared his crew for battle. "Looks like our Federation counterparts are here, this should be interesting" said Mirror Valdez to his wife and first officer, Teanna Valdez. "Trianna, be a dear and lock out our computers" ordered Teanna, Trianna locked out the computer. "Hail my counterpart" ordered mirror Valdez. On the U.S.S. Oudenarde Clemens reported "We're getting a hail from your counterpart", Captain Valdez took the hail, "Never thought I'd be facing myself Captain" said Captain Valdez. Mirror Valdez made his point very clear, "Captain Valdez, do you want to die here? , think about Trianna. Teanna is right next to me, she always wanted to meet you and meet your Trianna." Captain Valdez cut the channel and both ships moved into position.

The I.S.S. Oudenarde made the opening move and began to close the distance. Captain Valdez reacted immediately and opened fire at 2000m. "He'll first close the distance with us and then he'll make us think that he's turning away. Instead he'll turn towards us" said Captain Valdez to Commander Solat. Teanna turned to Mirror Valdez and reported that U.S.S. Oudenarde was turning right at them. "So the game is afoot" replied Mirror Valdez smiling.

Both ships closed the distance and exchanged broadsides at 2000m, both Captains were now fully engaged in this game of mental and tactical chess. For half an hour, both captains matched each other move for move with neither one gaining the advantage until both sides had expended their power and weapon reserves. Captain Valdez decided to withdraw back to the protection of the alpha alliance forces stationed in the Badlands, Mirror Valdez decided to withdraw back to his forces. Both ships were badly damaged and the result was a stalemate, both captains had thrown everything at each other but were unable to defeat each other with heavy losses on both sides.

From the bridge of the Los Lobos, Naynta Lot had watched the duel and hailed Mirror Valdez. "Hell of a fight, I'm transporting my damage control parties over to help your crews out, medical teams are being sent over to help." reported Captain Lot. Mirror Valdez had helped her and she never forgot that assistance he had given. "Admiral Sito will not like this" replied Mirror Valdez, "It was a draw and you forced your counterpart to withdraw, I count that as a success" replied Naynta.

On the Vanquisher, Veel'Riz stared at Valdez on his screen. He balked as it went black, as the captain said his statement...
He looked to his tactical office. "Did we hit the population of the planet with the weapon?!!"

"As planned we hit the orbital stations full on, but it I'm reading several pockets of dead zones on two continents."

Veel'Riz, brought his prosthetic fist down on his arm rest. "Shadows cloak, how many innocents!?"

The old Romulan was furiou, the plan had been to make the Terrans think he intended to attack one of the world worlds of future iimportance... Vulcan, Terra, Andoria... Force them to come to him, crippled, and desperate.

"There are always casualties in war... It is its nature and doesn't discriminate to who." Veel'Riz closed his eyes taking a deep breath. "That was what you said once wasn't it Admiral...? I am not you. I do not kill indiscriminately." He grit his teeth, remremembering past battles as he thought outloud.

"We've sent our message... All ships set course for Vanguard, maximum speed." Veel'Riz oordered. "T'Nae, notify medical center Rominus 2, to prepare for a possible Terran patient.... A Starbase might be better equip. Form up around the U.S S. Oudenard... Inform them we'll provide any assistance requested."

Captain Valdez had gotten some sleep on Doctor Jorel's order, even a starship captain could not argue with his CMO. After waking up, he walked over to Trianna's bio bed and handed Clemens a cup of coffee, "How long was I out for Captain?" asked Clemens. "About a couple of hours Lt, how's Trianna doing?" said Captain Valdez. "She's just woke up and she's not happy. She's angry and she wants to speak to you captain." replied Clemens.

"Go and get something to eat, I've not seen you eat a thing all day." Captain Valdez ordered to Clemens. Clemens left for the mess hall. "You had to take my right leg, father, why did you not take out the shrapnel and patch it up?" asked Trianna. Captain Valdez passed her Jorel's medical report, "You went for the easy option" yelled Trianna. Captain Valdez could deal with Trianna being irrational, taking a leaf out of Solat's book he replied in a very calm and controlled manner, "Trianna, that debris cut your main artery. If Jorel had removed the debris, you would have had a 90% chance of bleeding to death on the operating table, amputating the leg was the safer option. I know about you and Clemens' close relationship, she see's you as a little sister." Trianna eventually calmed down. She wanted out of sickbay and from Jorel's Bajoran prayers, "Your're a tough kid, you know that" said Captain Valdez.

Captain Valdez now had another problem to deal with, Veel'Riz used a thalaron weapon and decimated 2 continents as well as the orbital stations. In his ready room, he got Veel'Riz on the line. "Star Commander, I've seen the butcher's bill. The Terrans will respond to this, I do not approve but sometimes you cannot avoid collateral damage to civilian populations." Veel'Riz saw that Captain Valdez could see things from a Romulan point of view, "If that was Earth or Betazed, what would you do in my position captain?" asked Veel'Riz. Captain Valdez had to really think about this. "I would've used the weapons in a narrower cone to avoid hitting innocent population centres." Captain Valdez replied, "my counterpart was a war criminal, if we use WMDs, where does this descent in madness stop?" This was a question that got the Star Commander thinking, the Terrans now knew he had thalaron weapons and the Vanquisher would be on their to kill list.

RA Solat had heard the of the Argolis attack and deployed a heavy battle group to Argolis to intercept. For RA Solat, this was her last chance to defeat Veel'Riz and she deployed all 200 of her last ships to end the Romulan threat to Nukara. Leading the counter-attack from her flagship the I.S.S. Valdez, her forces consisted of her last 50 Vulcan ECM ships, her last 100 Kumaris and 50 Terran ships.

Waiting for the onslaught, Battle group Scythe was fully deployed in battle formation, Valdez had sent the Oudenarde with a heavy escort back to Guardian Station and took a seat on the bridge of Vanquisher to co-ordinate with Veel'Riz on the coming battle. "Centurion, order the fleet to lock out their computer network, their Trianna Valdez is just as skilled as mine in breaking into networks." ordered Captain Valdez. The Centurion looked puzzled, Veel'Riz looked at the Centurion and said "You heard the Captain, carry out the order." Valdez and Veel'Riz could now plan the battle, "We outnumber them three to one but we should not be complacent." thought Valdez out loud. "Command deck to armory, can you fit some self replication units to your plasma mines?" asked Valdez. "The Reman armory officer agreed it could be done. To screen the flanks, Veel'Riz had deployed a self replicating minefield on both wing. If Solat tried her encirclement, the mines would disrupt that movement.

Victorias boots clomped noisily as she approached the readyroom of the Enterprise. The red head turned her piercing gaze to the officer who took a harsh hold of her arm. "I would prefer to leave without any your - or anyones ashes on my new gold plated bottom flats... Let go."

She waited, meeting the worm's eyes, before the woman let go. "Thank you." Victoria mocked with smirk as she walked past the door.

"I'll keep this short Sito," O'Brien began causally sitting down, pretending not to notice the hostile feeling of the room. "I believe we both have our separate designs at the moment, and our relationship depends on the similarities yes?"

Not giving up the opportunity to continue her opening move in a potential verbal battle, Rishis held up her hand, "I'm not quite done, so please do wait your turn Wrinkle-Nose..."
She caught the slightest twitch on the Admirals eye-brow.

"I do need to be leaving for 2410, but do tell me: What are you up to?"

                            (respect my authoritah!)
(This is the same Victoria who was part of Yellow Terran Empire?)

Sito smirked at O'Brien's defiance. "Kava, Oylumi, would you please leave us for a moment.' Sito paused, standing up as the two officers left for the bridge. "Oh, one last thing. Oylumi my dear, would you send Paris and Aunlel up? Our ... guest, will not delay our meeting for long." Oylumi glared back at Sito with a grin while giggling aloud for all nearby to hear.

Alone with Victoria, Sito placed one of her daggers onto her desk in front of O'Brien. "My actions are and forever will be in the best interest of the Empire." Turning around Sito reached for a model of a starship behind her. "As for your racial slur, might I remind you, you are still a officer of our Terran Empire, I hope for your sack you're not picking up on bad habbits that would divide us?'

Sito places the model in front of O'Brien, slowly turning it to face her. "There have been others who have recently picked up these bad habbits, thinking themselves superior to their comrades simply because of their bloodlines." Sito said as she released the ship model from her grasps.

"What would he think?" Sito remarked, revealing to Victoria the ship in question was a replica of the I.S.S. Molly. Her fathers ship.

Captain Valdez was onboard the Enterprise (Yellow), Admiral Sito had read the report. "Captain Valdez, 150 merchant ships destroyed, 4 hospital ships and 10 Federation starships. That's quite the kill count, your failure to defeat your counterpart is minor stain on that record." Admiral Sito said looking at Captain Valdez. "My counterpart matched me move for move, he withdrew back to his forces and I withdrew back to Imperial forces. The Federation had help from the KDF, we cannot send anymore forces through to the other reality due to their tachyon detection net." replied Captain Valdez.

"I read Naynta's report, your raiders did an excellent job distracting the Federation and wasting their resources." pointed out Admiral Sito, "the question is Captain, where do your loyalties lie?" replied Admiral Sito. "My loyalties are to the empire admiral, I've got no interest in politics maam" answered Captain Valdez. "Captain, the damage to the Oudenarde is extensive. That leaves me a ship down until she's repaired." said Admiral Sito. "Admiral, I damaged my counterpart just as bad. Naynta sent over her damage control parties to help my people and also medical teams to help with my wounded." replied Captain Valdez. "Naynta Lot with the right officers under her will be an ideal choice for Vice Admiral" he finished with putting Naynta's name up for recommendation.

"Captain, I need you back on your ship to supervise repairs. I'll tell Naynta you put her name up for promotion. " replied Admiral Sito. Captain Valdez saluted and left for the transporter room.

                                Typo- word missing.

Victoria turned her now snarling (and reddening) Visage back to the Bajoran.

"You've got some gall- (is that how you spell it??), Sito. I'll have to remember that." Rishis used the entity to have her eyes glow like flames, turning the whites of her eyes black for a split second. "That... my dear Fleet admiral, is similar to my father's typical reaction... To me anyway..."

Victoria leaned over the desk. "If your going to threaten some someone," she snatched up the dagger. "I recommend they be susceptible to it..." She grinned widely and plunged the blade into her jugular. Removing the weapon with a grunt, the wound had no visible sign of having been there.

                                Suddenly she sat back down.
"That's enough showing off commander." She apparently ordered herself...

Yes. <Spoiler> The solution is 'canon'.

@thay8472 Interesting, Leeta has been on my hit list for a while now
The Captain Valdez in 2410 is yellow empire, Sito can trust him. He has a habit of getting results and bringing out the best in his colleagues

                                  S: Patience, Captain.

                                  ?

S: "It might not kill you, Commander, but removing the blade from your chest has told me you still feel pain."

@thay8472 Would Sito prefer captains to be honest on operation planning instead of yes men?

Your jugulars are the large blood vessel on each side of the neck.
                                    ---------
"I do wish Rishis would stop doing that sort of thing..." O'Brien said looking at Sito. "I wouldn't recommend accidentally transferring your consciousness into an occupied body no matter how lifesaving... So many titimelines so much the same; your doing well old 'friend"'.

Sito gave the Terran a confused llook. "Multiple personality syndro-"

"No... In a different time-line I was, her commanding officer. Ask your batazoid if you want. You wouldn't believe my identity anyway."

'Rishis' snapped her fingers and the blood disappeared from the carpet.
"My apologies for the trouble she caused.... Sometimes I think I really ticked the Chief off to have him post her on my ship." Victoria shrugged.

"We'll be going before she causes a temporal incident, with one of her royal tantantrums." upon reaching the door, Victoria stopped auaudibly growling. "Rishis..." the admiral said trying to maintain control of the unfortunately shared body, knowing she hated being referred to by her middle name.

O'Brien shook her head, and took a breath, she spoke again. "Given the Vendetta's temporal technology you can bet I'll be back if you start to pose a risk to Empire's resurrection, however doubtful, given my first officers contacts... Don't let me down."

She let that last thought hang unsaid.

                                    -----------
Victoria isn't rreally sane, and the extra minds didn't help her situation... I do love writing stuff for her though.
