I read all the go to stuff, nothing. Ive gotten negative answers to my questions, but no information whatsoever. I am also not in any way interested in hearing about licenses, brands, or roundabout non informative answers. I have simple questions, and would like simple answers.

I would like to be able to raise my DPS, I would like to craft, and all the awesome extra features that make the game worth playing after level 50/60. I also just don't have the grinding hours anymore to hope for that special drop...I just dont. It is now being unadvertised on the XBOX ONE portion of this website that we can have duty officers, research and development (this weekend is dedicated to it), admiralty, and fleet holdings. It says available now.
When will I actually be able to do these things? What day? What month? Without these features there's not much left for me to do in the game, hence making it unplayable. So when can I expect to see these things? Why can't a developer hop on here and say "this is when it's coming" I don't care about lock boxes as I have no real money left to open them, I also don't care about a new ship....I can't even get the damage up on the one I have, which sucks because I need these features to do this. Can I please have a straight forward, solid with an actual date answer so I can know to plan when to return to the game? Checking everyday is a waste of time and getting my hopes up for nothig..a date please, that's all I am asking. Thank you.

    Longer answer, if they do not post a date in the blog entry you will not get one on forums. Cryptic does not give dates out or rough ballparks or anything else... the venomous community STO has, taught them if you even mention once that "something might happen in may next year" then nothing happens in may... the community will proceed to light fires hot enough to make Dante's Inferno jealous.

    unless your going to spend 10s of thousands of dollars to buy zen to get dil so you can kill the cool down timers and use zen to buy ingredient packs... R&D for crafting will take you months.

    this game is a long term grind... if you want a fleet that is up and running, best to play on PC. That too is Free to Play.

    I fail to understand why it is advertised as available now, but it isn't and can't get an answer as to when. They should be able to respond, give a reason, and yes, a time frame. If they can't figure out how long something will take in a world of percison, they are in the wrong business completely. So, I got all kinds of comments, but still no answers. They should take the advertisements down in the very least. That's like a store advertising items in Stock and when you get there the shelves are empty...and not from being sold out. This is stupid and false advertising, I'm sorry but that's exactly what it is. On consoles...release day is release day period. Pushbacks of any kind are clearly stated and with advance notice. Maybe the opposite is OK with you pc gamers, but not console gamers. If it's not ready, don't advertise it. If it pushed back...put up a notice explaining that, and dare I say an apology for the delay. So now I have wasted more time an still have zero useful information, I think this game just isn't for me and regret spending any cash on it whatsoever. I'm sorry but I have a life and can't grind 12 hours a day... an over time grind is fine but for now the things I want to invest time in simply aren't available. It's a shame. I thought there would finally be a good star trek game. Guess I was wrong. Honestly, they shouldn't have released 3o percent of a game....should have waited to put out the full thing, complete....like all other console releases. Fail. Maybe when a real gaming company makes a version of a star trek game, I will have a look at it. Back to titanfall2.....at least that game is complete.

    @ansley#4681, they announced the date for the stuff coming out is finally tomorrow (Nov 17th).

    As far as releasing games incomplete: Keep in mind that STO is an MMORPG while Titanfall 2 is a complete game. MMORPGs are usually never complete games as they're constantly having stuff added to them.

    And as far as the grinding goes, A lot of this stuff is meant to be done over time. Stuff like the Fleet holdings, those are meant as part of a whole fleet with several people coming together to invest resources. Everything else can be taken care of at your leisure.

    1)No they shouldn't the adverts say its coming, just because one whiny kid wants it NAO doesn't mean it should be taken down
    2)See 1, they said its coming and it is, not false advertising.

    To be straight with you op this is the way its looking to me. I was here along time ago, infact on my Klingon, this will make the either 3rd or fourth time I have had to redo the entire R&D because they changed it. R&D offers some solid gear, I will not deny that, but your better off with gear from a fleet or Reputation. Not sure if this stuff is available for xbox or not. I am just assuming it is.

    The other aspect they have drastically dumbed down the game as far as have to grind time. Everything is set up on a clock now. I log into my main run the Tarren Battlezone, then do my cca stf, put what I need to into the bank, sell leftovers, and log. The whole thing takes me about what a hour or two if that. At the end of it I will be able to get some decent gear. The only grind right now is the dilithium/credits needed to upgrade gear to MK XIV. In this area R&D may or may not help. Last I looked they still charge you credits if you make the upgrade packets yourself. I am still leveling several schools, so I have not gotten to that particular part.

    My point is relax pace yourself, and you should be able to get exactly what your after. While you wait for them to release what your after. Take a few minutes each day and run a battlezone/stf for the rep your doing.

    Wow op you think your disappointed now. Wait till you find out how long it takes to get Crafting leveled up to be anywhere decent gear, let alone great gear. Add in the amount of time and cost for building a Fleet Holding, let alone the starebase....

    STO may not be the game for you, OP. You allegedly have no time for anything. Yet you found the time to complain here about how long everything takes. I suggest you hie yourself over to your Facebook page and click on the Zynga link or any of the other game links there. Lots of games on Facebook which require no time at all to play, less clicking and are even easier to master than STO. You will be happy because you will now have enough time to fit InterWebs gaming into your all-too-busy schedule. We'll be happy because you're someplace other than here bothering the decent people.

    Round my house we refer to this as win-win.
