[PS4] Move tech upgrades out of inventory to R&D?

I deleted one of my characters and moved his tech upgrades to my account bank, and then gave them all to my other toon.
Problem is they're now taking up space in my inventory instead of being listed under the R&D tab.

Is there anyway to move these out of my inventory and back into R&D where they belong?

    double click, or drag them to bank, swap tabs, then drag them to R&D.

    don't think there is. I'm not on atm but try pressing square and selecting R&D. but I don't think that works

    On PC when R&D stuff ends up in inventory, moving them into bank (regular bank not account bank) then taking them back out puts them in the R&D tab.

    No idea if that works on consoles.

    how do you use an item in your inventory on PS4? on PC attempting to "use" an R&D item moves it to the R&D tab.

    We'd press X on the item in the inventory and select "Use" from the menu, except I don't think "Use" comes up on console, just "more details" and "destroy"
    I can't remember now, but I tried everything mentioned here to no avail, and I'm pretty sure trying to use it also came ot mind. I'll check again later today though.

    The X function sounds like it does the same thing as right clicking. Double clicking is how you make it move.

    we have another button to move stuff. but because R&D has its own tab. we can select it. it's a UI bug. or oversight. can't do anything to fix it. unless they add the option to move it

    so you can't move to bank, then change to R&D tab, then move again?

    so moving it manually from bank to R&D puts it in regular inv? yeesh....

    there's no option to do it that way from bank. it's just move to inventory

    Ya this does suck. I've tried about everything here.
    In the inventory we press box on an item to move it, and triangle to unstack stuff.

    but we can't "move" tech upgrades out of the inventory.


    upgrades should just automatically go to the R&D tab no matter how they're obtained either buying them or moving from account bank.

    this is very basic inventory stuff that should have been sorted before launch

    Should it? Seems like an edge case problem. The typical use case for moving move upgrade kits to another character is because that character is going to use them up soon. Doesn't matter which inventory they go to then, they'll be gone shortly.

    Just use those upgrade kits already!

    I recommend the Upgrade Event. Whenever it comes (probably one week before you broke down and upgraded something to Epic.)..

    You have to delete the tech upgrades then buy it back from replicator, that's how you get them into R&D tab.

    You can also move them on the PC by dragging and dropping them onto the R&D tab
