It doesn't seem to be night on RIsa ever anymore.

    At this time of the year at the Summer Resort it is the land of Midnight Sun as you are near their Pole. ;)

    Night got broken with Lighting 2.0 and it's odds on that it will never be fixed

    The lighting on the part of ESD by Quinn's office since Lighting 2.0 reminds me of the area on the Solar Station in 'A Step Between the Stars' where the solar shutters are busted and you get the really bright sunlight on a periodic basis.

    Why even be on risa in the off season to see this.

    I have gone there in the off-season to complete the Orinthologist Accolade or the Master Relaxer Accolade.

    I've gone there when the event isn't running. By February in Michigan, it's nice to see a sunny beach for a little while, even if it is just in a game.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

    Yeah, he is there and now it seems after doing only two of his hide-and-seeks he is complete for the Accolade.

    There is usually no chance to Instance jump to find him again for his next riddle, so it may take a couple of days to do it.

    It didn't get broken, it got removed with lighting 2.0 because the way the lighting works, made it impossible to have the transition between night and day.

    The night cycle won't be coming back anytime soon, unless the devs can figure out a way in the new system.
