Internet problems during mining claim

I hate the fact that if you have a internet problem while using the mining claim and get disconnected when you log back in you get nothing. How about fixing this so if you are disconnected before you finish the mini game you get to do it again and not lose everything.

I wouldn't mind so much if I could but them with EC but you only get them from the lock boxes and when I lose one(or a few over time) it really feels like a loss.

So, they should essentially subsidize you for your internet problems?
It's not their problem, they have no responsibility for it, you do.
    It's your problem.

    op before doing a claim.

"I had a problem, make it so that I don't have to feel sad or frustrated, even though the problem has nothing to do with you. I just don't want to have to deal with it on my own, because I can't handle it, I don't know what to do. All I know how to do is complain and ask for authorities to validate my shortcomings. Make me feel good!"

If you have internet problems that affect your ability to play the game, then you need to deal with those problems, and find a solution, or wait for them to clear on their own. Anything that happens on the wires between you and the game server is not something that anyone running the game has to help you with... because it has nothing to do with them, they can't fix the problem you are having... they're not obligated to give you anything.

So you do not think that there could be a fact of such a system would be exploited? I mean if it is based on the fact that if you get a drop of internet, or just internet problems you get a free restart on your claim you were doing. Well i can see a lot of people using the fact of pulling their internet cable to make it look like to the system they had a drop in internet to get a redo on a bad run of the mini-game.

I think the problem here is that such a thing could be exploited - people might deliberately break the connection if the see they don't get the maximum amount, and Cryptic can't differentiate the two.
The current method is probaby the best compromise they can make between technical effort, exploitability, and usability.

If it happens often, it might be better to use the turn-in that grants you Fleet or Reputation Dilithium. It's less then you could have gotten, but more then nothing. If the connection losses happen only some days, maybe you need to try to gauge if it's one of the days before you risk starting the claims.

Really you don't see how implementing a system that could be exploited to make sure you get maximum payout on a claim, via cutting your connection manually (like by pulling the plug on your modem) an so to the system sees you had a connection problem an gives you a free pass. I mean i am sure such a change would see the dil exchange leap up to 500-600 dil a zen, after it gets that easy to get the 5000 dil cap you can get from a dil claim.
