in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Can we please have some sub forums for the console versions of the game. This would make things so much easier when posting as there are quite a few differences between the PC and console versions.

    Console only needs forums for Feedback, Support and Academy as the the only difference between the platforms is the UI. To be honest, there isn't any real reason to have seperate forums if you tag your posts with the platform you are using to make it easier to spot.

    There's more difference between the 2 then you think, as the only end game for console is farming deep space encounters, I dont count the lazy pve q's as there are faster ways to make marks.

    I've noticed that there is quite a few content differences between the console and pc versions. Crafting, fleet holding system and admiralty system to name a few. I know they are planned for the future. Would be just nice to have a separate forum. Over the years I've played the pc version on and off.

    Far from it, there are many differences. Many ships aren't available on console. Also fleet bases, fleet ships, duty officers, and all Agents of Yesterday content are all absent on consoles.

    Console is different enough, in content and demeanor to warrant a subforum. not even a seperate Ps4/Xbone.

    As Olivia said, 1.1 Million captains and PVP has a subforum while we don't.

    Yeah, the difference between STO PC and STO Console is about as wide as the Grand Canyon.

    To be honest I don't actually think it is too much to ask. if there truly are over 1.1 millions console players then I'm surprised it hasn't been done already.

    There have been many requests for this, all of which have been ignored.

    The two versions of the game (Console/PC) are not the same and clearly should have at least a separate sub forum for Console specific querys.

    I have noticed recently though that this forum appears to no longer be moderated, so it's possible that there simply is no forum staff to facilitate this request even if Cryptic thinks it's a good idea.

    No need for sorry.. I want the forum to be moderated. The last thing we need is for this place to turn into Zone Chat.

    Still, seems like moderation is more rare now. I don't think the forums are a big priority for Cryptic at this point.
