That 4/2 layout on the Science Vessel is just downright intriguing! The simple act of allowing me another forward facing torpedo on a PartGen/Torpedo build is going to be huge. Somehow I will have to fight the temptation to name her "Heart of Gold", too.

    Mirror Archer had one.

Mentioned this in my earlier topic, but the dogs looks like a Cerberus or Hell Hound with those eyes.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Oookay, I've fought these ships before, but never took the time to check them out from up-close, so it's first impressions time

I swear, some of these really remind me of Quarian ships from the Mass Effect franchise

Aside from that, hey, space bowling! XD

Interesting ships, though I can't see myself getting anything but the T5 Escort any time soon. It's the one I like the visual of the most, out of this lot. They are all ugly ships, but that makes them unique. So while I don't really care for them I wouldn't write them off completely. The others, I won't spend Lobi for the Sci ship and I can't imagine getting lucky enough to win the carrier by opening lockboxes.

Especially considering I don't even bother opening "new" lockboxes anymore. I can wait until their items are moved over to the Infinity Boxes. Even then, I can't see myself getting many keys anymore so EC is the only way I will get these ships. There are many other ships I would prefer to have over these, so it'll be a LONG time before I have that Carrier or Sci ship in my possession.

The Rotty looks interesting, the uniforms look decent and the traits sound okay, I guess. Nothing I want bad enough to spend real money on, nothing I want to farm for resources to get either.

So when's the next lockbox coming out? :p

    Because Rotties are cool.

Please tell me they can be used in combat. Those Klingons think their Targs are sooo great.

What's with putting the science ships in these releases behind the lobi paywall these days?

    Daemosh - lobi
    Paradox - lobi
Sphere builder sci ship - lobi

How's about someone other than the science pilots have to pay the steep price for once guys!

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Question. That Dreadnought trait, Delphic Shockwave... Does that apply to the Photonic Shockwave of Photonic Shockwave torpedoes launched with the Nadeon Detonator console, or to High Yield torpedoes launched with the Overwhelming Force trait?

What's with the fixed Ensign Sci on all the ships? A fixed Ensign on a T6 lockbox or Lobi ship is rather odd to begin with, but why something both already have enough of?

I'd be considering the carrier more if I could put a Eng BOff into that ensign, to have a bit more durability or more power, with having the Lt. Comm free to slot more Sci abilities.

At this point in the game I think the Lobi Consortium is the most advanced faction bar none. They always "get their hands" on "the" most advanced tech anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if the master of the consortium were a Q or a Douwd...

Whether or not this organization should even exist is a whole other debate - almost every one of its offerings would make more sense, lore-wise, to be associated with a reputation store. Anyways...

Fun Fact: Cerberus comes from the word k̑érberos. It means Spot.

Think about that. The dreaded God of the Underworld named his dog Spot.

    The ships are unappealing, but I think the Modules/Training Manuals, traits and Lobi non-combat pet in this lockbox are some of the best yet. Imagine some of the combinations;
Assault Drone Fabrication (Eng Trait) + Fabrication Engineer DOffs to increase the number of Support/Assault Drones fabricated. That can mean at least three Assault Drones, plus a Seeker, Vaadwaur Anchor or Explosive Drone to go with them...
Someone already mentioned Security Detail (Tac Trait) + Security Officer DOffs to increase the number of Security Escorts and give them grenades
Photonic Fleet (Sci Space Trait) + Fleet Support (Captain 'Distress' Ability) + Hanger Pets/Seperation Pets = enemies finding themselves suddenly outnumbered.
Interphasic Decay (Sci Mod/Man) + Temporal Operative Spec would mean some serious DOT.
And those are just the ones I can think of...

And the Rottweiler Non-combat pet is nice, not just because its more to my own personal tastes than a beagle (except the 'Snoop' varient, but I'm not one to buy dozens of blind-packed Lobi pets trying to get that exact one) or a Sehlat or Targ, but because it's especially thematic considering that one of the random results at Starfleet R&D in "Vorgon Conclusions" is Mirror Porthos ending up in the Prime Universe and being adopted by Reg Barclay, so we can even imagine that our own Rottie is descended from Mirror Porthos if we want...

^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

    Delphic Shockwave
    • The Photonic Shockwave power, when used, leaves a hazard in its wake which deals radiation damage and reduces the damage resistance of foes.
    • Additionally, Photonic Shockwave does not repel foes while this trait is slotted.

Does this apply to Overwhelming Force and/or Photonic Aftershocks and/or Photonic Shockwave Torpedo (Nadeon Detonator), or is it limited by the usual "activated abilities" thing? Also, the important part was omitted from...
    Delphic Shockwave

After reaching level 5 in your Sphere Builder Denuos Dreadnought Carrier, you will unlock the Delphic Shockwave starship trait. While this trait is slotted, your Photonic Shockwave Science Bridge Officer ability will leave behind a localized anomaly that mimics the effects of the Delphic Expanse. Enemies that enter this hazard will suffer radiation damage over time and have their damage resistance reduced.
...in the stats blog. Yes, I did catch that the stats blog indicates "Photonic Shockwave Science Bridge Officer ability", but the stats blog also only mentions the hazard; all I really care about is the removal of the Repel, which would really help make the broader PSW-family of powers into something useful.
