The Lukari have begun a space exploration initiative after the events of Sunrise. To meet the challenges of the final frontier, they’ve been collaborating with the best engineering minds in the Alliance to produce a new Lukari starship that will launch for Star Trek Online's Anniversary event.

    Foxtrot reminds me of Flight of the Navigator, while Echo looks Cylon to me themed to me.
    Space is vast, it's wonderful and maddening. Yet in that madness is some of the greatest beauty I have ever seen.

    I can't in any honesty vote for Echo, it looks like a lightsaber handle. I mean, really. Is it's special going to be spinning in place while a giant phaser lance pops out one side, mowing enemies down? And no, that's not awesome sounding! It's stupid!

    Append: The finalist decision process should have included the question, "Does this look like something I've seen somewhere else doing something else entirely?" Maybe then we wouldn't have boomerangs, hood ornaments or lightsabers.

    Foxtrot's design is inconsistent. Downward sloping ends from a top-view but slightly upward ends from a straight-forward view?

    Was about to post that one.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Another hard choice, but I'm going to go with Echo as I like the crescent look over the teardrop of Foxtrot. Not that Foxtrot is a bad design, I just like Echo better at the moment.

    Voting for Foxtrot because Echo looks like a slightly different Scimitar. The Lukari should have their own distinct appearance.
    The universe has a wonderful sense of humor. The trick is learning how to take a joke.

    I have now desided to go for Echo because... a romulan ship? If I wanna play a ship that looks like a romulan ship, then I funking play a romulan character, not ruining an entire event cause I want a ship that looks like a "slightly different scimitar".

    Edit: I do not care about those two ships, I want either Charlie or Alpha to win.

    Echo looks a little "daring" for a first try -- not something (imo) what a "space-newbie" civilization would start with. For the Lukari, I think the Foxtrot design looks simpler to realize.

    If Foxtrot is just a really terrible orthagonal view of a Manta Ray, I'd be able to find an excuse to support it ... but it will take WORK.

    If Foxtrot is really a Conference Phone IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACEEEE!!!!!!! then ... someone needs to start explaining themselves in a hurry.

    I pretty much don't even CARE what Echo is supposed to be ... because it is clearly NOT meant to be a starship in the tradition of Star Trek.
