For console players, is there a way to upgrade our T5-U/T6 ships to the Fleet versions without joining/creating a Fleet? I'm already aware they require FSMs, but there are none for sale in the player Exchange nor the C-Store.

Fleet versions require...fleet..Unless ship is already fleet version (31c Time ships.)..

That seems unnecessarily complicated. What's to prevent a player from joining a Fleet, upgrading their ship(s) to Fleet versions, then leaving that Fleet?

A ship requires a FSM and a "provision" that is earned through a fleet project. So it costs the fleet to let you buy the ship.
Also, besides joining a fleet you need to earn fleet credits, which you do by contributing to the projects.
Since there are no holdings yet (and no announced date for them) fleet ships are not really available yet.

As this system has yet to be added, there is no way to obtain a Fleet version ship.
