    None. Even in fiction, I believe in never doing things that couldn't be embraced for real. It's bad enough what we already are railroaded into doing in the storyline as it is.

    As for people who say genocide is not the answer then you obviously have never seen one done right because history likes to talk about the failures of "attempted genocides".

    You don't recall the Squids from fludic space who came through the rifts in 2387?

    Not necessarily extermination but can we declare war to the hiarchy and issue a shoot on sight order?
    It's the same damn pattern every time. They ask for help, they ambush and try to kill us, we slap them on their fingers and tell them to not do that again....till the next ambush...
    Kinda annoyed by them. :|


    As for the bajorans, yeah they're mostly religous nutcases but at least they don't actively do anything. Just let them rant to each other on their own planet so that the rest of the milky way can ignore them.

    I wouldn't exterminate them myself, but if I had the choice I wouldn't have stopped Garak or Section 31 when they tried to exterminate the Founders.

    And maybe support (even if it were just diplomatically) the Obsidian Order and Tal Shiar when they tried doing it.

    Tribbles. A definite ecological threat, one of the few that can easily spread via interstellar travel.
    Also, they are non-sentient beings.

    For your fuzziness needs, we could use genetic manipulation to make some sterile and/or eat only a very select diet. Maybe Ketracel White?

    Never said genocide was "good" and yes the genocide committed by the European settlers on the Native American population was one of the cases I was thinking of as I wrote my comment.
    As I said: History shows us that genocide was acceptable in many many cases and I do not believe that we, humanity as a whole, have moved past that kind of thinking.

    Perhaps a T'Ket cause she exterminated a Preservers on Laenas, and yet Iconians didn't cared, even if they been their creators, so i think T'Ket, simply as retribution for Preserver archiave, tho i hope there is more of them alive.

    Revenge won't bring anyone back, nor will it solve anything. Those effected by one's revenge will want to revenge back often, and so on, causing more and more battling and bickering.....no....there has to be a time where someone says "Stop, this is leading nowhere, except more havoc, pain and hated".
