Hi All:
Are captains able to train BOFFs on the console? If so how? As I understand it we're supposed to be able to craft a PADD and once we have the PADD we're supposed to be able to create training manuals from the unlock points in our captain skill tree. But I don't see how to even create a PADD?

No crafting is available on consoles yet, you'll have to wait and see0 -

You can create a manual in the interim from trading in boffs that has a skill you want to train. Boffs can be bought too with dilithium to convert. These won't give u the captain trained skills though.Gold Sub since March 2010

Not an effective way to get rank3 skills. rank 1 and 2 can be bought with ec, if Fed this NPC is in the room under Quinn's office.You can create a manual in the interim from trading in boffs that has a skill you want to train. Thank you all for your helpful responses. I will have to wait for the devs to get captain training working. I am excited to get DEM3 to my engineering BOFF.
