Disable visual option on energy weapons

Can we have the disable visual option similar in engine/deflector/shield for energy weapon?

I want to have same color for same type energy weapons. I use 2 different phaser sets - bio-phaser (green) and quantum phaser. It look weird to see different colors.

Phaser should have orange color when visual is disable.

We used to have the option to set the color for energy weapon. BRING it back :smiley:

    2 of my cannons have these HUGE bolts being fired, it looks silly really...

    I actually would love this, or would prefer to have a visual slot option like we have for our shields/engines/deflectors.

    I'd be all for an option to disable weapon slot visuals, if it also increased performance.

    I've got to say...I'd be happy with Federation just having Phasers, Klingons Distruptors and Romulans Plasma...but all with the same procs. I know that Antiproton are debatably the best, but I would like to use what looks to be authentic coloured weaponry for my faction :-(
