[PS4] how to hide weapons?

On PC, you can go to your character loadout page and right click a weapon and select disable/enable visuals. How do you do this on console? hate walking around with a massive gun strapped to my back

You can always put a little pistol in your second weapon slot, then swap to that.

I just switch to my sidearm (pistol) when I visit stations. It actually looks cool and appropriate.
