T6 Ship for the key Starfleet Members

There should be a T6 Ship for the other 4 key members. Like the Andorians, Tellurites, Caitians, and Vulcans. Which I think would be awesome.

    A new Caitian T6 Carrier would be nice. T6 Vulcan science destroyer (can't remember episode for sure, but Vulcans did have "warships" as mentioned in Enterprise when they were at war with the Andorians) Andorians......hard pressed to update since we did have the T5-U eligible 3 pack. Tellurites could get a tank cruiser, as they were always referenced in Star Trek as being virtually indestructible yet packing quite a punch.

    Caitians are hardly key members.

    Possibly not in STO as key members.....but in this version, the Caitians and Ferasans are the closest thing we have to Kzinti. And they have been a part of Star Trek since the animated series, and through the majority of the games, from the Star Fleet Battles board game through most recent electronics versions. Heck, I would love to see them develop the Caitians/Ferasans with drone tech in STO. ESP since we are already starting with a carrier.....give the Caitian Attrox 2 hangers of say.....Bio-Neural Warheads as the STO version of drones. That would kinda suck if you had 12 of those flying around, don't even need to change the mechanics as it is a drone, not a fighter. They launch, aim at nearest enemy ship, fire at anything along their way, and then detonate or seek out another target.

    Yes, we need T6 Andorian escorts. And a new kitty carrier I suppose, though M'Ress hair should be a higher priority ;)

    First off, Starfleet is a defense fleet. You are thinking of the United Federation of Planets which is not the same thing.

    2nd, Caitians were never a founding member of the Federation. Humans, Andorians, Tellarites and Vulcans were the founding members.

    3rd, If you haven't noticed, ships that aren't Starfleet ships don't usually sell as well as the Starfleet ships.

    First off, Starfleet is a defense fleet. You are thinking of the United Federation of Planets which is not the same thing.

    2nd, Caitians were never a founding member of the Federation. Humans, Andorians, Tellarites and Vulcans were the founding members.

    1) Yes. But we don't play as Starfleet, we play as Federation faction?
    2) Yes. But see above comments, they have been a part of every (I think) Star Trek game prior to this, and animated series as the Kzinti
    3) No. I admit C-Store non-Starfleet ships prob don't sell too well, save for the Andorian triplets that had huge popularity when they came out....but Lockbox non-Starfleet ships are the most popular. Dominion ANTHING, Cardassian, Ferengi, Etc. Etc. Etc.

    I recall in The Birth Of The Federation, if an alien race join you, you can get their ships.
    Members of the federation may be able to produce and sustain interplanetary vessels
    or a couple warpships, but not a wide variaty of high tier ships.
    Or you have to pay the entire design all by youself :D
    Maybe Craptic willing to do it for a couple hundred thousand dollar.
    Maybe cheaper if only texture

    I like this idea! For one thing, I always liked the Atrox, D'kyr, and Kumari (et al.). For another, it always bugged me that the main space organization of the United Federation of Planets, plural, only ever used Earth-type ship designs. That's why it never bothered me to see alien ships at ESD: a diverse Starfleet just makes a ton more sense to me.

    So yeah, more T6 non-Earth Fed ships would be welcome. :)

    I'd rather see more faction specific ships come out for the KDF and Roms. Mainly T1-T4 Sci ships you can get from promotion. They've been in the C-Store long enough. It's time to move them from costing Zen to being either promotion ships or purchasable with Dil.

    The Feds have enough. It's time to turn our attention to getting the other two factions sorted out.

    And I mean Faction Specific. They get it, the Feds don't.

    Yeah, I never knew they existed until I started playing STO. Probably because I never seen any ST:TAS episodes.

    Some people have a thing about furry characters with tails.

    They only first appeared in the Animated Series. And showed up in Star Trek IV.

    By the way, Caitians are pretty stuck up and I'm thinking about throwing them out of the Federation. They ask you to go to Flight School and then flunk you out on a high percentage basis. :)

    We should also have T6 Ships for the most important members of the other 2 factions as well ( Romulans and Klingons). I guess what I am saying is that we should have T6 ships of other alien species that is not Lobi or Lockbox.

    It would also be nice if we could see some more of other species. A Trill science vessel for example. And +1 for all other suggestions.

    And perhaps some alien ships that don't belong to some specific faction.

    Yes but no more carriers. 99% of those with them have no idea how to use them and fight them like a "normal" cruiser. I wish Carriers had been capped with the weapons to defensive only. This way the players would need to fly them like a carrier stand off and let the fighters do the work.

    I absolutely LOVE the idea, but the Orions, Gorn, Reman andany other non-Fed races should be represented also.
    I currently have a TOS Andorian captain, that has finally achieved an all Andorian purple quality away team and is just waiting for the next ship sale to buy the Andorian ship pack.

    If there was T6 Andorian ship available it would have been bought already, heck with waiting for a sale.

    And my Orion captain would just love to have an Orion ship.....
