Hurray for the console launch, a nice early birthday present for Star Trek and fans alike! (Star Trek's birthday being on Thursday, the 8th.) Happy 50th! :)

Those 3D-printed ship models look AWESOME. The material layers are pretty obvious looking up close, and the text printing on one of the models looked kinda blotted, but otherwise excellent and well-detailed for their size. Not sure I'd get them though, word through the rumor mill from looking at similar items the modelers sell is that they'll likely be upwards of $100 a piece, and If I were to get them, I'd want at least 4 (one for different characters/factions/ship types/etc.); there's NO WAY that I could afford that, not for ship models anyways.
