Xbox one sto not showing up

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
so i went to download STO on my xbox one and its not in the store and the links on the internet do not work any idea whats going on

    The blog says it's a progressive rollout. North America is first. I'm not sure why they are going this way and I have little to no idea how any of that stuff works. The other markets are coming you just have to wait a bit.

    That's strange. An American game made available in the US first. Weird.
    When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    I don't mind a phased rollout but I think it's a mistake to not get the game into peoples hands for the 50 year anniversary. This is the best time for doing Star Trek related stuff. if they wait too long they will miss being able to ride the Star Trek buzz that people are on right now.

    release in the UK is apparently Friday for PS4, so it's probably the same for XBOX One too

    If it was a worldwide rollout today the poor hamsters would run themselves to death trying to keep the server wheels spinning.

    On the bright side, the steady creation of "why is it American only!?!?" threads proves that people do want to play STO on consoles, contrary to some doomsayers here.

    A phased roll-out is pure common sense. They need to monitor Server load and stability. Better to only have a few states complaining than the entire world when the server drops. The Anni is the 8th, and as far as I'm aware, that's the final day of release to console to, so people are not missing out.

    Yanks/kiwis/ossie etc can... but brits/french/spanish etc can not..!

    why the 9th for the DL?

    And it can take anything up to a month to change back if it doesn't work, it's not worth doing that

    What I get from it is that if you change region right now, you might be prevented to change it back again for 3 months

    As a Canadian, I region switched, downloaded it and switched back without a problem. Played for a few hours last night before bed

    I live in the UK I start on the US version can I then continue on the UK version when it comes out or do I have to start from scratch again

    I didn't say you're "a cheat" - I said you were "cheating the system". Please read the words I actually type, rather than attempting to interpolate your own.

    As for who I am? I'm a 'Murrican, living in 'Murrica, and have heard plenty from folks who blame everyone but themselves when something gets screwed up after they've messed with it.​​

    Jon, I called it as it was. Your intent was clear. I saw nothing more than was wrote.

    I intend to stir no pots whatsoever as you say. You can carry on doing so if you wish.
