You have reached the maximum rank, grade, and have attained the maximum number of Captain points

Hi guys

I thought that with the recent changes to spec points, I shouldn't be getting the above message anymore. I thought I should now keep receiving xp, and any time I hit a new level, it gets converted into dilithium ore.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Am I wrong?

Cheers

K

You do gain dilithium ore every time you gain a level after maxing all spec trees out.

Remember, even if all Spec Trees are full you may still bank 10 Spec Points, as the ones you earned between 51 and 60 don't count against that 150 total.

Yeah, but I'd have thought I'd still be seeing the number of xp needed to get the next dilithium reward, rather than the 'You are full up' message.

They must of changed that because I have not been able to bank any. I've made about 5 or 6 points since I maxed all my trees out.

I have 27 points banked with all specialisation trees full. Clearly this isn't possible under the 'new' system, but I guess the reason I was able to get so high was because I used a lot of the free specialisation points on this character.

I'm completely fine with not being able to get more specialisation points, and I wouldn't mind too much if it was by design that they didn't convert into dilithium - or if it was by design that even though I'm seeing the 'You have reached the maximum rank, grade, and have attained the maximum number of Captain points' message, I'm actually earning dilithium. I'm just not sure that this is the case.

Also, they said you can still gain spec points from the weekly reward packs and promo spec points. So those don't count toward your max.

No, but they are supposed to self-open if you receive them and award you Dilitium instead if you are at max.

Ah OK, so you can't keep earning xp for dilithium, but any box rewards from any source rewards dilithium?

You should be able to earn Specialization XP forever and when you reach all full trees and the max extra you should still be 'ranking' up Levels but you should be getting Dilitium per extra Level.

I am not. That was my understanding too, but it's not happening.

Hence the Bug Report. Something seems seriously wrong with that Character.
