Okay thanks, I saw that didn't know if it was current or not. I'm trying to find a set of engines to use for endgame, I was using the Borg engines but...
The current meta is the iconian set. Tho..I use Assimilated set on my wells
I know this is very off topic but what exactly does "meta" refer to in this case? I can only imagine it means something similar to "de facto".
It's short for "metagame." It actually goes all the way back to pen and paper RPGs, with the "game" being "let's pretend we're a bunch of elves" and "metagame" being "because elves have good stats," Needles to say, there it was and still is a fairly controversial thing (to put it VERY mildly,) although MMOs are rarely played any other way.

The meta does mean 'metagame'; but it refers more to a generally accepted optimal strategy than anything to do with elves.
