31st Century Ships Skins

What options (if any) would you like to see added with a patch? Personally, I think all "unlocked" Temporal styles as well as Faction-specific types (depending on what faction you're playing) for each should be made available. If you've already "unlocked" them, it means you've acquired the skin from another released ship already.

For a paid C-Store ship, I personally think it's absurd it was released without other skin options. If it was "free" or limited to a lockbox skin, it would be a different story.

    LOL Police Box, indeed. I dont think it's outside the realm of possibilities, however I think existing skins will be more likely to happen. :smile:

    Who would not want access to all the skins, if he could?

    Also, don't forget that there are Klingon and Romulan Materials, too.

    I would be happy if there was just one faction option already. The current selection is too meager.

    And while they're at it, do it for the Paradox, too. The Klingons and Romulan Captains of this ship deserve some options, too.

    Daleks would, indeed be fun. :) And then the Policebox skin makes sense too. I mean, we already got the 'Larger on the inside than the outside' thingy going on. Let's just take it to the next logical step.

    @mustrumridcully0 I get the Korath, Krenn and Rozhenko on top of the normal KDF materials, what more is there?

    KLingons and Romulans have their own Hull Materials. Material 1 to 7 does seem to refer primarily to the Fed materials. KDF only goes to a Material 5, for example.

    And Veteran and Upgrade skin also exist on all factions, and are different for all factions.

    Ah. AFAIK, you have basically only the Paradox base skin. No regular materials.
    Did that change somehow? Can one now unlock additional ones by buying the Tier 5 Temporal ships? Do you get access to the other KDF materials?

    I honestly don't understand the lack of customization for these ships. Is it the penalty for being cross-faction?

    I have always been able to access KDF hull materials on both my Paradox ships. I dont have the t5s.

    @mustrumridcully0 I'm not sure about the regular skins but I definitely have access to the other time ship ones; I'm using the Korath skin on my Paradox at the minute. The reverse also works for me as my sig shows.

    I'd like nothing more than to have the Korath or Dark Mirror skins on my Ouroboros raider. The latter would look pretty nifty and the former very distinctive.

    I don't own any of the 29th/31st century ships but as far as I'm aware all their exclusive materials are listed. I think that owning, say the Rozhenko, should allow the sickly green material to be used account wide on any 29th/31st century ship (any of the ones listed below). So you could have a Dark Mirror coloured Eternal or a R'Mor coloured Wells etc.

    But the stinger? I don't think any current material options should apply to them (Type 1-8 etc.) I don't see why it should be possible to put TNG era (Type 2) hull plating on a Wells era ship.

    I also think Cryptic needs to go back and look at the 12 ships listed below and work out some sort of consistency for them and how they relate or not) to the Annorax, Krenim Warship, and Krenim Science Vessel.

    Chronos - Temporal / Type 23
    Eternal - Temporal
    Ouroboros - Temporal

    Aeon - Aeon
    Wells - Wells
    Mobius - Mobius

    Rozhenko - Rozhenko
    Korath - Korath
    Kern - Kern

    R'Mor - R'Mor
    Talvath - Talvath

    Paradox - Dark Mirror​​

    Oh you meant hull pattern "skin" I was thinking if these ships can look like other classes of ship why not let them look like any c-store or lockbox ship you have on that character.

    Not including customization options is one reason why I haven't bought them yet.

    Some videoes I found on youtube that give you an idea on how the ships looks like with different shield, deflector, engine, and console visuals, as well as what customization these ships do have (hull, nacelle, pylon decals and their colours).

    There is more ways to customize the ships then people realize.

    There's nothing. The Type 23 material dosn't even cover the entire ship.​​

    No, that's exactly part of the way I can customize these ships and I am very aware of it. And it's less than I can do with most other ships, even if there are no alternative parts.

    Thanks for posting the videos. If they are yours, I'd say good job on showing the different space sets, but you should edit the video down a bit. I looked at the Chronos one and needed to keep jumping the timeline :) because the pace was ... so .... slow.

    Its material 26 (likely a reference to the 26th Century ships which I think inspired the material) and you can get it to cover the whole ship if you fiddle with it. I'm currently using material 26.

    Speaking of skins, I'll quickly throw this in here: the Dyson Sphere Shield needs an overhaul. Whilst pretty, it's clipping like crazy on many ships and/or has entire hull parts protruding thru it.
