Acquiring more 23c stuff

I've been away since AoY launched and only now have I had the chance to try it out. I made a Temporal Operative char and got him to lvl 16, rather quickly I might add. Before I continue I just wanted to know how I can get more 23c stuff. I know I can replay Battle of Caleb 4 to get a few space weapons, but I was wondering about more 23c kits and boff powers. I havnt checked, are they available on the exchange? How else could I acquire them?

yeah... 23c boff powers are ensign and CboP. Kit modules are mk2 and also CboP...

The photon grenade mortars are nice to have, the rest are the same skill with new visual effects.

For phaser type 1 - 2 pistols and type 3 rifles you can either buy mk 1 on the exchange to level up, or create a second TOS character and then use the account bank via shuttle or ship (engineering deck)

Well, type 1,2 or 3, phasers I can get on any char buy just doing the Devidian arc. As for the kit and and boff powers, I had a feeling they were Char bound, but how do I get more of them though? Ya I know they're the same power with a new look, but its that new look that I want.

Drat, I didnt even bother to explore 23c ESD... guess im making a nother 23c char. Is that really the only place?

Just FYI, the 23c ground weapons, become character bound upon upgrading them. The space weapons stay the traditional "account bind on equip." Had a toon over in the 23c ESD and had him buy a bunch of the Mk I ground weapons and twin beam phaser arrays. They upgraded nicely during the upgrade event.

Yeah, weapons from the 23 century become bound to character as soon as you upgrade them. I found that out after upgrading a Type 2 Phaser on a different captain with plenty of resource for the express purpose of transferring it to my AoY captain. Oh well... at least my tactical KDF captain now has an ultra rare Type 2 Phaser Mk XIV [CrtD]x2 [Dmg] [KB3].

Also, I don't if you noticed, but there are two different type of Type 3 Phaser Rifles that you can obtain in the 23rd century "training missions". There is simply the "Type 3 Phaser Rifle" and the "Type 3 Phaser Rifle Mk I". Both can be used by anyone that is a Lieutenant. The first one (without "Mk I") does more damage if you look at it's stats. The thing that sucks is that when you attempt to upgrade that rifle it will be converted to a Mk I version after applying upgrade kits and accelerators.

Amusingly the hand weapon your TOS char starts with is a magic device that never binds at all ever.

if you have the old ToS bundle, that had the leveless ToS hand phaser, you can claim it several times and use that.
