Just curious as to what you guys consider MUST haves in consoles. For me it's:
Plasmonic leech
Assimilated console
Regenerative integrity field (for smaller escorts/raptors)
Hydrodynamics compensator (for cruiser, phaser, or disruptor builds)
Nukara particle converter (for beam builds)
What is a MUST HAVE console for all your ships?
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

If I can spare a console slot, I'd also use the Regenerative Integrity Field.

I also use the Temporal Disentanglement Suite, and Quantum Phase Converter quite often. For mission rewards they're pretty useful!
Same goes for the assimilated module but on a lower priority.
As for my personal tech choice I like to use the Con from the quantum phase set. I use phasers a lot and slotting that con is almost like having an extra phaser weapon con plus it buffs the leech
I have only one Fed with a Leech and three KDF characters who use them!
Disclaimer: Comment above was meant in jest, no offense intended.
...I suppose that technically the only consoles I "never leave home without" are the Tac ones, though; the Plasmonic Leech is a close second, but I pretty much always have at least one Tac console appropriate to my damage type (especially with the Polaron/Torp/EPG console available).

Err, nvm.

This is actually really helpful! I always have plasmonic leach but I am going to use the hydrodynamics and nakura particle converter as well, I love Phaser builds

Ah... the Point Defense console... agreed, a fun one to equip. Even against a larger, single target, it can lay some fun pain as it's damage is fully applied to it, instead of divided betwen targets.

Console - Engineering - Trellium-D Plating Mk XIV
Console - Science - Temporally Shielded Datacore Mk XIV
Console - Tactical - Chronometric Capacitor Mk XII
Temporal Phase Overcharged Warp Core Mk XII
Console - Universal - Timeline Stabilizer
Console - Universal - Regenerative Integrity Field
Console - Universal - Plasmonic Leech
Leech is of no use to me, unless I was flying as a drain boat.
Terran rep console is another one as the torp cooldown boost is a must have for torp boats and the 2pc set with the photon is awesome as well.
Those are the ones I use:
Eng: Plasmonic Leech, Assimilated module, Timeline Stabelizer.
Sci: All slots are filled with embassy consoles for plasma explosions. Depending on the build +threat or –threat, EPG or DrainX.
Tac: All slots are filled with spire vulnerability locaters. +Energy type I use on the respective ship or simply +beam
There has also been a time where I considered more rep consoles or even lobi ones to be essential especially for set boosts. In recent seasons I had to learn that their benefits pale compared to the embassy consoles on my builds. For every energy build I strongly suggest to use them and upgrade them with highest priority.

The Timeline Stabilizer is my second most used console, if I can find room for it, I do.
Other then the 'usual' consoles that everyone uses (Locators, Embassy Plasma) I like to run Bio-Neural Infusion circuits and my main always uses his Conductive RCS [EPS] Console. For my other characters, I just use an Epic Mk XIV EPS console and a seperate RCS when needed. It's too hard to craft the RCS with EPS on them and they cost a fortune to buy.
I usually use the Kobali console (Regenerative console) on my Escorts if I can. I never use it on Cruisers.
All of my Romulans use the Valdore console.. always.
Troll on super troll.. troll on.
for my roms, I use also the valdore console.
And I use a lot of rep consoles for different builds (neutronic torp set, gravimetric torp set, terran torp set), + the quantum torp set from the mission.
