Krystal stepped up next to Elihu and put a hand on his shoulder.
"You gonna be alright?" she asked before looking at the marker. "The one part of command that sucks. Having to tell someone's family why a loved one isn't coming home..."

Captain Oroku Seifer - Caldos III, Caldos Cemetery and Memorial Center

When Seifer was done speaking with the Vulcan-mindset Elihu, he was surprised to encounter a threatening gaze. It seemed like he wanted Seifer to drop the case for some reason. On top of that, Elihu wouldn't say whether he was or wasn't guilty.

Aramaki approached with a tricorder. "Well, scans of The Infamous, from several vessels, when he was onboard his ship, have completed processing. I think you'll find this interesting. We detected chroniton particles, indicating he's from another time."

"Fascinating," Seifer said as he took the device to read it.

The tactical officer handed him a medical tricorder. "Not only that, but this data indicates DNA on The Infamous, that isn't his own; it's Elihu M'Konel's. I think he had some kind of interaction with that time travelling The Infamous."

"Whoa! His connection to D'Ren, that guy who just killed 4 billion people, is confirmed, which could mean any number of things, including that of having access to those nanites to cause the murder of Alyce himself."

Lieutenant Aramaki nodded but then stopped before handing over another tricorder. "Oh! Something else. This is a picture of my neice. Isn't she so cute? Soooo cute."

"Thanks?" Seifer handed him back the three tricorders. "Unfortunately, Starfleet refuses to acknowledge adorableness as they're too busy minding their own hypocrisy. Anyway, as for the case, it would seem I didn't have a chance in figuring out who the murderer was to begin with. It's as if I was strung along aimlessly until an answer was plucked out of mid-air, like some sort of deus ex machina."

Aramaki tapped his chin in thought. "The universe is a mysterious place. Want to search for anaphasic lifeforms? They looooove the Caldos star system."

"Can't. The Infamous' army has the entire place blocked off. We're not allowed to leave until we sign a release acknowledging fear for life. Also, my own plots may finally get some much anticipated traction. You see, I just saw one of my past love interests in the crowd and our whole complicated history is just about to unravel in a whirlwind of drama and passion, and--" Suddenly, he lost sight of the woman. "Damn! Never mind. Let's just get back to The Infamous and Elihu stuff."

“...I Wore Black and You Wore White”

    Hours Later, 23:00

Elihu and Lydia M'Konel – ESD, infirmary

Elihu M'Konel was lying in the infirmary of Earth Spacedock, comatose. The now-shaven Vulcan/Betazoid hybrid was completely unresponsive. Doctor Shran-Vix, blood-stained and covered in black soot, was exhausted but remained by his side as she shakily performed her medical duties. Lydia M'Konel was leaning up on her side, fearfully observing her nephew from the bed on his right. To his left was another patient, one who had not survived the ordeal. A sheet was covering them head to toe.

The disease is almost completely gone, Eli! You – you did it!

Not I, Shran. God has taken my pain, and given me peace. But he is also collecting on the vow I made to him...

“Do not make a vow or swear an oath! Instead, let your 'yes' be your 'yes' and your 'no', your 'no'!”

Lying on her side on the neighboring bio-bed, Lydia was not as bad off as Elihu, but she did have severe burns covering the right half of her face. Furthermore, her arm on that side had been freed of all flesh. Green blood soaked the bandage that covered her hand, forearm, and bicep. A male human nurse tried to gently coax her back down so he could administer a painkiller, but she shoved him away. She remained on her right side, despite the agony of the burns, gripping the side of her bed with white knuckles. Jonah McDaniels, Eli's best friend, slowly and calmly approached Lydia and placed a comforting hand on the Romulan woman's shoulder.

Though she was screaming something at Elihu, he could not hear her. Her deafening cries were muffled, slowed and ignored amidst the solemn angst and chaos that surrounded them in the infirmary.

I was never destined to stay...

    I … I don't know what to do...

My people will take care of you...

Just outside the infirmary, a mildly injured Donatra was being hauled toward the security office by two burly Starfleet officers. She only glanced over her shoulder with a worried look into the infirmary at Elihu. Following her was Nel Kestral, who was also injured, but slightly more so than the Romulan leader. Despite that, it took at least three people to hold her. She wasn't going to prison without a fight. When she caught sight of Elihu, she went limp and started bawling like a baby. The guards carried her into the infirmary and the Andorian doctor pointed to an available bio-bed.

Toman Kannor was also being escorted to the brig, though he did not give a fight. And he was not wounded. The former chief of the Tal'Shiar, Toreth, was being taken to the brig by several security officers. However, she was not wounded either.

I, Toreth, confess to personally overseeing the kidnapping and torture of several Federation, Romulan, and Klingon officers and soldiers, including one Captain Aeris...

Outside the sickbay on a large display was yet another list of recently deceased:
    * Lt. Cmdr Vaughn Vincent *
    * Lt. Hektor Lang *
    * Lt. Kidna *
    * Ensign Javan Eras *
    * Chief Tina James *
    * Crewman Lareth *
    * Garn Pekh *
    * Jessica James *
    * Cindy Benson *

Daniel Benson was being restrained by his father in the infirmary, for he had seen Nel Kestral, Donatra, and Toreth. Both men were wounded, but John Benson's son could not withstand losing both is twin sister and his mother in the same week. Daniel wanted revenge and if he could not locate the perpetrator of the explosion or the murder of his sister, he would take it out on anyone loyal to The Infamous. Tina had been lucky; she died a second before her 10-year-old niece did.

The bomb had killed many more, wounding hundreds. The cemetery had been put to ruins. Kidna and Lang had been two of the many who received a slow death, as Lang laboriously pulled himself across the blood-soaked grass toward the paralyzed and frightened Vorta.

The major suspects were, of course, the ones who would naturally be suspected: The Infamous, Nel Kestral, Donatra, Toreth, Sai Feyt, Kannor... It probably did not help Kannor's case that he tried to escape in the chaos. Surprisingly, most of The Infamous' soldiers and Reverent Guardians did manage to escape.

However, the memorial terrorist attack was not what had sent Elihu M'Konel spiraling into a catatonic state. The breaking point came a little later...

    Hours Earlier...

D'ren – Caldos Colony, Caldos III, the park

Future Eli had departed, knowing that D'ren was as good as dead. D'ren clawed the ground as he tried to escape the carnage. He wept for the dead and anguish. He made it a few feet and collapsed. Rolling onto his back he could not help but to smile up at the sun, believing that this was more than he deserved.

Perhaps it was the mercy of his own creation, but his heart and brain failed first. Then D'ren's internal organs collapsed and his flesh melted away from his bones. A couple minutes later, only the smallest of traces of his DNA could have been found, but only by a medical professional with an advanced bio-metric tricorder.

    Gre'thor

Future D'ren entered Gre'thor and found himself standing on the Barge of the Dead, surrounded by dishonored Klingons and another version of himself, the one who'd died on the Zipporah while defending Earth from the Undine Behemoth.

The first Infamous turned and grinned over his shoulder at the back of the boat, where the new D'ren stood. The Infamous announced, "Prepare for the Fek'Ihri!"

D'ren turned and looked at all the "dead" men and women around him; they'd been slain in battle with the FekIhri. But as The Infamous made his announcement, they all got to their feet, ready for yet another shameful and dishonorable death. Repeated dishonorable death was their eternal retribution.

And now it was D'ren's. The man from ten years future released a battle cry and picked up the closest weapon he could find before lunging forward...

Hours Earlier, After the Caldos III Terrorist Attack

    Elihu M'Konel and Lydia M'Konel - S.S. Elysium

Most of the people the flag officers were certain were not suspect - with one exception - were transported up to the Elysium for safe keeping. Since all of the ships and troops owned by The Infamous were gone, Admirals Chekov and Tuvok thought it prudent to limit their investigation to those who remained, rather than chase the obvious bad guy.

Shran-Vix, the ever-harsh Andorian rival of Lydia's, sat down beside her. She told the Romulan, "You know, it's very suspicious, Lydia. You jumped behind that tree right before the explosion happened. In my book, that makes you...'highly suspect', Lydia."

Both Elihu and Lydia looked at Shran, who knew of Eli's past obsession with twenty-first century rock music, but only Lydia mustered a glower of disapproval. Elihu merely perked a Vulcan brow and continued to stare ahead, restraining his heartbreak over losing so many people once more. Nearly everyone.

"This is no time for jokes, Shran! We lost..." Lydia lowered her eyes in shame and sorrow.

Just then, a transporter beam deposited...Talitha Roseblade in the center aisle of the passenger hold. At this, Elihu could no longer ignore his emotions. Elation. Surprise. Fear. He leaped up, at first relieved and uplifted, but his happiness was quickly shattered. Literal Devastation.

What Talitha was in fact, was a very, very misappropriated amalgamation of body and mind. The young lady collapsed onto her side, mainly because her left leg was significantly shorter than her other. Parts of her once radiant red hair fell from her scalp to the deck and her tattered clothes did little to hide her now frail, green-hued and lumped body. But her physical deformities were nothing compared to what Elihu felt from her: Nothing.

    Heart Failure Imminent.

Her mind was barely there, just enough to keep her from being brain-dead. Her eyes darted to and fro, as her mind was unable to maintain any coherent thought for more than a second. She did not even recognize her husband-to-be as she drooled on his arm. But he still held her, crying uncontrollably. Hopelessness, despair...

Half an hour later, on their way back to ESD, it was apparent that Talitha's disabled state was permanent. And Eli simply could not handle it. After asking Jade to take care of her best she could, Eli crumpled into his seat and did not speak or move again. Apathy. Before long, he fell asleep, and when Shran scanned him, she reported that not only had he descended into a coma, but the Broken Heart Disease had all but killed him. His coma might give him a few days.

    "...Way Down We Go..."

    Now...

The phase-cloaked Nova-class U.S.S. Talitha orbited Earth Spacedock; when she was certain that her ex-fiance had been rendered sufficiently insensible, Talitha turned and trans-warped to parts unknown of the multiverse.

Character Unknown - Unknown Mysterious Underground Cavern

Deep within the underground caverns beneath one of the hundreds of Infamous outposts throughout the galaxy... a man's eyes opened and he stepped out of a holding chamber. He had long black curly hair, a clean-shaven face, green eyes, pale skin, and, of course, a facial scar. It was D'ren Connor McDonnell.

A Reverent Revenant in a black cloak with the hood up strolled over to the new clone. He removed his hood to reveal that he too was a D'ren clone, with the number 54,001 tattooed on his forehead. He smirked and extended his hand to The New Infamous. "Looks like you're The Infamous now, mate. The consciousness and memories of another D'ren have been transferred to you. Try to refrain from bein' a little git and gettin' everyone including yourself offed, yeah?"

The Infamous 3 grinned. "I make no promises."

"Well, if you don't, you'll have to answer to me...and our new boss, The Peacemaker."

The End of Part 4: Paradise Lost

    - “The tragedy of a writer: that every life he creates, he knows must end, even if with his own breath; but to take one of his creations' life without meaning...is to never be without a ghost.” -- Levi McLeod, from the novel The Seven Tragedies of Levi, Part 3 - The Tragedy of a Reader

Regent Sarah Walker - Unknown Dyson Sphere

She heard the gateway open. A Mobius class Temporal Destroyer flew out, evidently in a hurry. A moment after, a Paradox class Temporal Dreadnought. As she saw the dreadnought firing upon the Mobius with a furry of antiproton arrays, it became clear that these 2 ships were not on the same side. Chances were, one of them, probably the Mobius, had rebelled or something.

Sarah sighed. "They'll never give me a break, will they?"

She looked around, seeing if there was a way out, perhaps a gateway on the ground, or a starship that could fly off, perhaps through the gateway. Who knows; maybe the Terran Empire would love to help her bring back the other half of her universe's version of The Alliance, for the right price. A price she would probably pay in destruction, naturally. She spotted an Iconian Probe facility nearby, and ran over, hoping that she could make use of the probes in question.

They were operational. With just a few key presses, she could send the horde of them to disable one of the two ships, and then contact the other. The question was, which one?

She started thinking about that. If she disabled the Paradox, the crew of the Mobius would probably owe her their lives, and they might give her the help she needed in return for that; or at least drop her off somewhere with a transmitter or something to contact her newest flagship. Alternatively, the Paradox was probably with the Terran Empire, and they would probably agree more closely with her methods. She thought more.

Might as well go for the big guy. She instructed the probes to intercept the Paradox, as it blasted away the probes and locked on to Sarah herself, firing an antiproton beam...

She was a good as dead. In fact, she would have been dead if time itself hadn't stopped just before the beam hit her. What was this?

Everything disappeared from existence. She turned, and noticed how sore her right hand was, probably from that thing knocking her disruptor away from her. She figured the hand should be broken, but it wasn't for some reason.

She realized that she was in some kind of holodeck, and a much more futuristic one. The door opened, and someone a little too like Captain Jim Dennison walked in, this one wearing a Wells uniform, albeit modified with a Terran-esque belt with a typical Terran dagger on it's right. She rolled her eyes and walked over. "What do you guys want with me?"

He replied. "Right to the point, huh? Well, I guess you've dealt with a me before, after all, I'm sure your version of me probably united all of the Federation's worst enemies into some alliance, right? Anyway, it's Regent Sean Dennison, captain of the I.S.S. Chronostorm and basically the leader of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, from your mirror universe."

"My mirror universe, or this universe's mirror universe? Either way, no, it wasn't you. In this universe, it was Nat. In mine, it was me. Surprise, surprise. What do you want?"

He put his arm around her and pulled her over. "Your brain, if you don't mind me asking. We've got another you that we haven't quite been able to figure out, and we'd like a little bit of help with that. Oh, don't mind the holomatrix here, we were just testing you. This time, you didn't do half bad. Hopefully you'll actually win next time, eh?"

He began walking out, and motioned for her to follow. "Come. I'll give you the tour and tell you what you've up against."
    2jwMZnF.gif
    Winning.
It's what I do. It's what I just did. It's what I'm about to do again. It's being undisputed emperor of an empire that cannot be disproved as the most powerful intergalactic empire in the entire universe; I always win, and everything I've won will definitely be won again... by me. It's my signature move, and thus, it's my signature. Problem, Sonic? Yeah, I mean you, Sonic, because you're being beat up, despite your being super. You can't even hit Shadow back, can you? Nope, he's too strong for you. Of course, I'm not Shadow, I'm the Super Emerald fueled fox that's pulling the strings; trust me, the fight would only be a few frames long if I were in it personally. Oh, and here's something for all you guys thinking you can win Last Post Wins 3.0; trust me, I'll be around a long while after the sun has already consumed the Earth while I sit out with the forum servers on Titan. Yes, I mean Titan... that comparatively little moon orbiting Saturn. It's a nice little place in a version of our solar system where the sun is a lot bigger. I mean, Mars will last longer than your precious Earth, but by then, it'll be one hot planet... and I figure Saturn's moon will be about the right temperate for a super-powered warlord. Oh, and trust me, I packed a lot of rings, and I mean a lot. Trillions, in fact, so I'll never run out of rings to power my super form. Besides, if I start to run out, I can just chaos control more rings into my reach. It's quite easy, really. You should try it. Granted, you'll never have the 7 Super Emeralds that I have in my possession, nor the Master Emerald that I've got hidden away somewhere... absorbed into my body thanks to Sonic logic, but whatever. I win. Again. I'm not kidding, either. Just check Last Post Wins, and if the last post isn't mine, it soon will be. Very, very soon. You can count on it. Seriously. By the way, if you're wondering, there's a really great Super Tails sprite sheet out there... somewhere... by some guy named shadow_91. These sprites are really great. Like, really good. Quality. Just like what I like to see in a sprite sheet. Also, credit to Joe T.E., his Sonic Battle style Super Sonic sprites have a great palette for a Super Sonic being beat up by Super Shadow, who's palette is from a Super Shadow sheet of unknown origin, but it turns out they were "borrowed" from a better sheet made by a certain Domenico. Oh, and the gif is actually a custom made super version of a similar gif, of which there are only 3 or 4 copies to be found by Google, and even then, evidently of an unknown source. Yep, it's one of those things. Stuff people have made, spread around, only for it to vanish and you to be the only person who still has a copy, not even knowing where it came from... like, literally at all. Oh, and anyone notice that Shadow's little chaos snap blast thingies are red and blue now? Yeah, I changed it. Problem, fans of purple? Yeah, I know you got a problem with that one, but you can just deal with it. After all, according to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly... alright, alright, I'll spare you the entire Bee Movie script, just Google it if you want. By the way, ever wonder how your characters would've ended up if they evolved in another universe? Yeah, that. Think about it. Ok, so you probably didn't bother reading up to here, but whatever, here's a surprise for you guys over at ESD (RP) who were crazy enough to read this: Emperor Nat of the mcfreakin' Terran Empire is gonna be right all along! The universe is gonna go BOOM! *Thumbs up to the insanity*
Oh, now don't tell me you want in on all this! Well, ok. Look this that Egg Pawn hanging outside your window, pointing his laser rifle at you, waiting for my next order. He's doing his part. He helps conquer the weak-minded. He roboticizes the weak-bodied. Heck, he even helps keep the useless people from causing any trouble, but you know what? Join. Find the closest Nataran Empire roboticization center near you and join the ranks, before the ranks find you. Oh, I know, you figure it must be so satisfying to know I basically rule the world now, and you know what? It is, but do you want to know the true definition of satisfaction? Well, let me tell you a little story. One day, you see a brand new event. They're giving out boxes that give old event stuff. Your dilithium is plentiful. You buy a whole lot of Phoenix packs on your main, and open them all. You get one epic token. Then, you decide, that since you have all the Breen ships and don't give a damn about the others, you exchange it for an ultra rare, and grab yourself a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and for the hell of it, a Voth Bulwark. You open both, leaving the Bulwark in your vast masses of starships as you jump into the bugship and deck it out, deck by deck, into the most awesome Jem'Hadar ship you can. You fly it. You enjoy it. Eventually, you get bored and leave, leaving the old Bulwark never flown... until later. Your main is long complete. Your new alt main, based off some character you pulled out of nothing just to explain away some starship being in service without the command of your dear admiral, is also complete. Mostly. Their reps and doffs are hard at work, getting you stuff. You realize the potential, and head back for your dear admiral, pull the most Voth themed build you can out of thin air, and suit up in your giant ship in the shape of you know what. You head out... and cause all sorts of havoc. Enemies scream out your name as their very life is drained away by your swarms of Aceton Assimilators. They complain to the devs of your OPness when you revive yourself from death every time you die. Do you show any form of mercy? No. After all, this isn't the United Federation of Planets, this is mother frakkin' Starfleet, where you explore strange new worlds and kick butt never kicked before. Oh, and you realize that I just wrote another speech rivaling your own signature. Cool. Oh, wait, that's just the original draft, it is part of my signature now. Oh, and yes, I am aware that I have become a Canadian Regent; one day, sooner than you'd expect, we'll suddenly decide to take over the world and declare an "alliance", and I shall become it's Regent. You know, like the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the mirror universe of our beloved Star Trek. Oh, who'll we be taking over with? I dunno, maybe [REDACTED], or maybe aliens from outer space. Guess you'll have to wait and find out, won't we? Until then, don't ask too many questions, or else my Breen allies on Titania might pick up on your -- [REDACTED BY BREEN CONFEDERACY FOR REASONS] Also, psst... keep an eye out for flying Tribbles! Also walls. Big, great walls, separating entire continents apart. Walls patrolled by Tribbles. Flying Tribbles. Flying Nukara Tribbles. Don't worry, it's not like they were on Venus with a herd of Tholians or anything, they just like the extreme heat and brutal weather like acid rain and hurricane force winds as the norm. Oh, and definitely keep your eye out on any two-tailed foxes, because if they ain't glowing, they're definitely an imposter. Possibly an Undine, we caught one of those once in my place once. Oh, and if you find a two-tailed fox that doesn't like the cold... most certainly ask him to say sorry. If he refuses, DESTROY HIM WITH A DOOMSDAY MACHINE, BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH AGAINST SUCH AN OVERPOWERED IMPOSTER!

tr;dr, I am winning last post wins 3.0. Thank you for your time.
    Oh, look, an explosion...

Krystal leaned against the bar as she nursed a beer bottle. Granted it was technically her first, right now she looked a little lost. No one approached her, as it was obvious she kinda wanted to be left alone... with her still 3/4 full bottle.

"You gonna be alright Captain?" the Bartender asked.
"Eventually," Krystal replied as she took a sip. "Just need time."
The bartender said nothing more and moved on to another customer.

Captain Oroku Seifer - Infirmary, Earth Spacedock

As the Infirmary was being emptied out of its excess patients, Seifer was just finishing up treatments for his flesh wounds. The trip back from Caldos III had been so much faster than the trip there, that he wondered if Edward was just toying with everyone beforehand.

"Everything checks out with you, sir," reported Lieutenant Cetra. "You'll be free to go in a few minutes."

Seifer looked on as Lydia had been screaming in sheer madness at the comatose Elihu M'Konel for what seemed like hours. The sound rang through in his ears. "Wow. That is some messed up family stuff."

"Trauma comes with the territory when dealing with complex inter-personal relationships augmented by the vicious actions of unclear entities," she said, passively as she healed his hand with a dermal regenerator.

Confused, the Captain replied. "Yes? Anyway, doesn't all this bother you, since you're a Betazoid?"

"Actually, I've always injected myself with a compound that suppresses my empathy. All my life, I've been unable, nor willing, to deal with the pounding headache of telepathic power." She wrapped up and patted him in the shoulder.

Seifer smirked. "Yeah, those are the worst. Anyway, it looks like you're stuck here on Spacedock with all this convolution like I am. I know how stale it can get. If I hear about any deep space assignments befitting a nurse, I'll let you know."

    Main Concourse

Stepping out into the main concourse, Seifer was met with Captain Aeris. He had skimmed her report of her time in fluidic space and was amazed that she survived.

"It's been a long time, Captain," Seifer said.

Aeris crossed her arms. "It could have been longer. But it was only after my time with Kohogeth, in the past, that I was eventually boarded by the Tal'Shiar on what I've come to learn were orders by Toreth. They wanted to know everything we did of the Undine."

"Now she's captured. A gift from someone, perhaps. Are you going to go into the Brig and beat her to a bloody pulp?"

The woman did a double-take. "What kind of a monster do you think I am? I dealt with my emotional reaction to that long ago. It was only Elihu's telepathic attack on me that regressed it out of my subconscious." She looked at him. "Anyway, the Zephyra is just as out-of-commission as your old ship, the Phoenix-X. I could crew it and fly it, but the damage by that Undine protoplasm makes it unfit for prolonged use."

    "Drydock's getting full," Seifer realized.

She laughed to herself. "At least you're getting re-assigned. They told me to tell you that you've got a new ship, finally."

    "What!?"

Aeris gave him a PADD. "Congratulations, Captain; the U.S.S. Ragnarok is yours. It's a Pathfinder-class starship modified with Discovery-class pylons."

"This is amazing!!" Seifer took the PADD and rushed through its stats. "Sure, it's not as powerful as some, but I can finally get off this cesspool dump-- err, I mean, wonderfully constructed space mushroom?"

The other Captain waved him off. "It's fine. I'm stuck here until they find me a new ship too now. But, this time, after what I did in bringing the disappeared crew back, they won't keep me locked down here anymore. I'll be just as free as you, soon."

"Good to hear, Aeris," Seifer complimented. "I'll be recruiting that Engineer you were with in Undine space, by the way. Lieutenant Winry sounds brilliant."

Shocked and insulted, Aeris dropped her arms. "You jerk?? Now I don't want to divulge the second piece of news I was going to bring to you!"

"The Infamous was responsible for everything malicious that's been done up to this point?"

She shook her head as she directed his gaze to their left. "No, Winry and I brought back your old fighting teacher, Chivaul, from fluidic space."

"Master Chivaul??" Seifer turned to see the old, greying Vulcan standing afar in wait to speak to him. He had thought he'd never see him again, and had already dealt with the effects of losing his own father-figure. The Trill turned back to Aeris, preferring the cognitive dissonance to the alternative. "Thank you, Captain."

Aeris smiled. "Sure." She watched as Seifer went off to speak to the man. Her duties now lay elsewhere, so she left as well.

Former Regent Sarah Walker - I.S.S. Chronostorm, Bridge

They arrived on the bridge, as unique as it was. The now former Regent couldn't help but notice that it was similar to the bridge of a Wells class starship she had visited at one point, although modified. Aside from the expected darker lighting and Terran logo on the door, the entire former-back of the bridge had been expanded, as though a mirror of the Wells bridge, along with a new captain's chair lined up between the entry door and the temporal transporter. On each side of the captain, were consoles, and down a few steps, 2 doubled up consoles, along with TCARs displays on the walls in front of those.

A lot of the faces looked familiar. Aside from "Sean", the apparent captain, she couldn't help but notice Burt at the console just left of the captain's chair, Scott and some Trill at the left side double console, and Martin and Cameron on the right side's double console. The console just right of the captain's chair was empty, although appeared to be an engineering and environmental console.

She practically jumped when "Sean" put his hand on her shoulder. "Oh, did I startle you? Don't worry, you'll get used to it. Everyone else has, except for the chief of tactical and my first officer, who actually sorta outranks me. Kinda. It's a technicality, really, but you'll meet him soon enough."

The former Regent nodded and sat down at the engineering/environment console, after motioned to by Sean.

"So let me tell you about The Alliance..."

    Captain Nat, 11 of 14, 4 of 7, 1 of 6, 3 of 5, 8 of 14, and 2 of 7 - Earth Spacedock, Corridor by the Exchange

The alternate universe Captain Nat and the other 6 liberated Borg officers had all been sent to Earth, their homeworld, for shoreleave by Vice Admiral Nakari. They had just arrived in a Delta Flyer, the U.S.S. Sarah Walker , landing the craft in the shuttlebay and now headed out to the food court, to eat something before beaming down to Earth and going their separate ways to meet up with their families and such.

Needless to say, with most of ESD's personnel not knowing of the alternate universe Nat's existence, the main concourse quickly became a standoff ground. A tactical commander, and a Caitian, Hiresa, was practically taunting them, with him ordering the group to the floor so they could be taken prisoner once and for all.

The captain refused, naturally. He wasn't the crazy renegade admiral out in the Andromeda Galaxy, and he could prove it.

"Commander, I am not your universe's former admiral Nat, I am from another universe, and not a criminal. If you need proof of my statements, contact Vice Admiral Nakari on Starbase 144. He has the logs, scans, etc. proving my statement to be true."

The commander simply ignored him and ordered him to surrender. The captain, of course, hoped that somebody would notice the commotion and come to do something. He waited.

Former Regent Sarah Walker - I.S.S. Chronostorm, Bridge

The former Regent Sarah face-palmed. As if things couldn't get any worse, they got worse.

"So let me get this straight; you used temporal shielding to protect your universe's Iconians from the Terran anti-time weapon and got them to join your alliance of literally everyone but the Terran Empire? You've literally got more firepower than all the Terran Empire combined, so why not fight them head on and take over for yourselves? Why the need to run off into this universe just to take over another galaxy here, when you could do that in your universe?"

Sean stopped her. "Ah ah ah, like I said, our universe's Andromeda Galaxy and various other galaxies are really vicious and powerful. Yours; are not, put simply. And no, we don't have "everyone but the Terran Empire". There are plenty of non-Terrans loyal to the Terran Empire who wouldn't dare join us, and as we ourselves demonstrate, we have Terrans on our side. And no, we can't fight them head on! You know how many of us would die if we tried that? Besides, we can't exactly give temporal shielding to every ship we have, now can we!? No! We don't have any choice but to retreat, and the only way we're getting all our Iconian buddies out, is to get the Terran Empire out of the Badlands so we can bring the Iconian Sphere there, and bring it into your universe! The only way to do that, is to find a way to get Fleet Admiral Anna Walker to send her fleet away from the Badlands, hence you. You're going to replace her, and do exactly what we tell you if you value your life."

Sarah sighed. "...and what happens to Anna Walker? Do I get to keep her job after you guys have all left?"

Sean shook his head. "Oh no, you'll be joining us when we leave, and we'll take her flagship, the I.S.S. Sally, for ourselves. Heck, the guy in charge might let you captain the ship, and better yet, he might give you command of our Terran fleet while he's at it, but only if you play ball, ok?"

Sarah nodded. "Yeah, sure. Where do we start?"

"Oh, straight to the point. I like that. How do we start? You meet the man in charge. He's the one with the plan, anyway."

Sean turned to the operations officer, Lieutenant Command Burt Troy Harrelson, and nodded. Troy pressed a few buttons on his console and then waved his hand over it, a noticeably lower than normal console sound going off. The temporal transporter lit up and a man started to materialize. It quickly became apparent to Sarah that it was mirror universe Admiral Nat, Terran Odyssey uniform and all. He looked tougher than prime Nat. Clearly, he was more the type to jump into a fight himself, rather than sending everybody else to do the job for him. He walked off the transporter pad and walked over.

"Admiral Nat, Terran admiral and leader of the Klingon-Cardassian-Iconian Alliance's Terran fleet and other Terran members, among other things. You must be the alternate universe Sarah, correct?"

She was surprised. How could he possibly know that already? She wondered.

"By the look on your face, I can see you're surprised. Trust me, I know a lot of things, many of which you don't know. I even know when you're going to die. Spoiler alert, you won't see it coming! Ha ha! Anyway, it's time for us to have a little fun, eh?"

Captain Nat - Earth Spacedock, Main Concourse

The Caitian commander shouted at him again. His booming voice was so loud, everyone, even Krystal, would hear it.

    "On the ground, now!"

A Vulcan Vice Admiral, Mat'ol, watched from a distance. He waited to see what would happen, for one reason or another.

    Krystal Jade

Curious as to what was goiung on, Krystal came over and saw Captain Nat. For a moment her hand shot to where her phaser would normally be, but then noticed the pips on Nat's uniform weren't those of an Admiral, but a Captain.

Captain Nat - Earth Spacedock, Main Concourse

"Call Vice Admiral Nakari on Starbase 144. He'll tell you."

The Caitian commander looked the captain in the eyes. "That can wait. Surrender."

"Well you can forget it, I'm not a criminal and I, my crew, and Vice Admiral Nakari all know it!" He looked around briefly to see if anyone was going to intervene. He noticed Krystal, did a double take, then turned back to the Caitian commander. "Or, we could simply prove my being from an alternate universe right here, commander. First off, was the former admiral ever assimilated? No! Can't you see, I'm not-"

"ENOUGH!" said the Vulcan Vice Admiral as he walked over. "Commander, captain, and the rest of you all stay here. 11 of 14, I have an assignment for you."

Everyone glanced over at 11 of 14, surprised. No one expected this. She replied. "Yes?"

The Vice Admiral handed her a padd, somewhat quietly talking to her, quiet enough that only her and her comrades would hear. "We're giving you a temporary promotion to Rear Admiral upper half and giving you command of the U.S.S. Midnight. I've already taken care to transfer all your crew from the Solaria and the Molly, and as for your assignment, we think we've discovered a weakness in The Alliance's defenses that we're going to need you to exploit. I need you to plan the mission using the data we've already acquired, find 4 of the most trustworthy, most experienced captains you can find, brief them, and then have them report to me before you leave. Understood?"

11 of 14 blinked. She couldn't believe it, obviously. "What's the actual mission?"

The Vice Admiral looked her in the eye. "Bring your former commanding officer to justice. Don't worry, I've got an officer who'll brief you on the details." With that, he turned to leave, only to be interrupted by Captain Nat.

"Are you kidding me right now?" He turned to 11. "So one minute you're a commander, then they demote you to lieutenant commander, and now they're promoting you to admiral?" He turned to the Vice Admiral. "And you're taking away my crew? Why?"

The Vice Admiral glared at him, in a way that Vulcans would glare at people. "Captain, you know, that as a Vulcan, I can not lie. I'm not going to hold it back from you as the rest of the admiralty has been until now. Long story short, the admiralty doesn't trust you. Indeed, it may be unwarranted, but no worry, you'll still retain command of the Solaria, unless you choose to retire. I do believe that Starfleet Academy could probably use--"

"Oh, that's wonderful! One version of me goes nuts and you're trying to kick me out of Starfleet! Thanks a lot, admiral. I'm done. Really, I'm just done. Maybe I'd be better off back in my home universe, probably dead. Who knows, maybe their Starfleet would still trust me after I served under their Fleet Admiral Sarah, hmm?" He turned to 11 of 14. "Not that you're anything like Sarah as this point. Heck, your life story is identical up to your return from that Borg ship, so what, a few Borg parts and suddenly you've given up on your past? No wonder they're so willing to promote you. One minute, you give up your own life story, so now you'll "forget" ever having any loyalties to the ever so lovable admiral that practically got me in this mess!"

He turned away, grabbing his alternate-future combadge and tossing it away. It bounced on the floor over to Krystal as Nat went to the transporter room, "requesting" that they beam him down to some place in Canada somewhere.

The Vulcan Vice Admiral, Mat'ol, glanced over where Nat was just standing. "Well this was unexpected." He turned to 11 of 14. "Your orders still stand, of course. I'll be in my office, and I believe the officer briefing you on the details of the mission is in Admiral Quinn's office." With that, he turned and walked away, motioning for the Caitian commander and his officers to follow him. He probably intended to put them on report or something, but 11 of 14 really didn't care. She was shocked, and she stood there, motionless, not saying a word.

8 of 14 glanced over. "You ok?"

    No response.

Krystal kneeled down and picked up the discarded commbadge, looking it over. After a moment she went to the transporter herself, requested the coordinates they sent Nat, and requested she be sent there as well.

"Oh, well next time I'll throw it out a window instead."

He turned to walk away, only to hear the sound of yet another transporter beam. No, there were two of them. Nat and Krystal would both realize that they were being transported... somewhere else.

    Captain Nat - I.S.S. Chronostorm

The captain found himself on the bridge of what was obviously a mirror universe timeship, given the Wells esque bridge design and the Terran emblem on the door, directly in front of him, yet beyond the captain's chair and the 2 consoles on either side of him, one of them manned by who appeared to be Burt. In the captain's chair he couldn't help but spot yet another Sarah, now wearing a typical Terran Odyssey uniform. She got up out of the chair and walked over.

"So captain, it's been a long time, hasn't it?"

Nat didn't really care at this point, but went along with it and replied regardless. "I'm pretty sure you can tell I'm not your Nat, so let's get right down to it. What do you want?"

Sarah stopped for a moment. "Actually, you are my Nat, believe it or not. After "emperor" Nat left me behind on that planet, I encountered my future self. She gave that ship I used to attack Starbase 144, when I beamed down intending to let "prime" Sarah know how much she's been a nuisance, but I ran into The Infamous instead. Ending up killing Sarah and him, and probably would've died to his bodyguards if these guys hadn't beamed me out just in the nick of time."

The mirror Burt, Troy, turned to Sarah. "It was intentional. Temporal transporter, remember?"

"Oh isn't that sweet. Anyway, they've recruited me in their so wonderful efforts to bring their version of the Alliance, which is, like, twice as powerful as prime Nat's alliance, into your universe and eventually taking over the prime alliance and taking over the prime universe's Andromeda galaxy. We don't need you, actually, but we didn't want you to go running off telling people that Krystal disappeared via transporter, so we took you too. I hope you enjoy your stay on the ship, and if you try anything, somebody will kill you."

Nat stood there, looked around, and motioned to the unmanned engineering/environment station. "May I sit here? I won't touch anything."

Sarah nodded and Nat sat down, as Sarah turned to Troy. "Now beam up Krystal, from the same time we beamed up Nat, ok? We wouldn't want anyone to be suspicious about anything, now would we?"

Troy pressed a few buttons and waved his hand over the console as it made a few low-pitched boops and the temporal transporter lit up, beaming up Krystal. Sarah walked over. "Now you, oh, we have our reasons for bringing you aboard."

"Oh, I'm Sarah, in case you haven't noticed. You know, that alternate universe Sarah that had super-Q powers for a while. These guys are all from the mirror universe version of The Alliance. Well, not all of them." She motions to Captain Nat. "He's from my universe, but anyway, I think mirror Nat will want a word with you." She motioned to the door. "Start walking. Nat, you might as well come too. I'm sure he'll want to tell you a thing or two too."

The captain, unsure of himself at the moment, slowly got up and turned to head for the door as instructed.

AU Captain Nat, AU Sarah Walker, and MU Admiral Nat - I.S.S. Chronostorm, Ready Room

They arrived in the ship's ready room and the mirror universe Nat motioned for Nat and Krystal to sit down in a couple of chairs. AU Sarah decided not to sit down, probably due to the fact that there were only three chairs in the room.

Captain Nat sat down. "So what do you want with us?"

The other, mirror universe Nat looked him in the eye. "Straight to the point, like me. I like that. Anyways, I want the 2 of you for a... special mission in our universe. Krystal specifically, to be more precise, because of reasons I am going to explain shortly. That said, you'll be here on the ship for a while so we can train you and such, so is there anything you'd like? Food, perhaps?"

Seriously. Krystal again crossed her arms across her chest.
"So... you abduct us and threaten to kill us if we don't cooperate... then say its for some kind of mission in another universe?" she replied. "Is this some kind of macho image thing because you could have just asked rather than go through all that. Then again... the Federation and the Terran Empire aren't on speaking terms. Especially with everything Admiral Leeta's pulling in the Badlands."

MU Nat stopped her. "That won't last, if we have our way. You see, Leeta and the Terran Empire aren't exactly on speaking terms either. Me and my people need her out of the Badlands, and we dare not risk a direct confrontation, so we're going to have our universe's Fleet Admiral Anna Walker send her fleet in to... drive them away, at least for... a while. That's what this Sarah here is for." He motioned to the alternate universe Sarah. "But we need a way to actually replace Anna Walker, and that's what you are for, dear captain. Oh, wait, you're probably going to ask, who's Anna Walker? Well, it's our version of Sarah. A bunch of "mirror universe" people go on a middle name basis now, because reasons."

Captain Nat crossed his arms and turned to Krystal. "Apparently this Sarah here is from my universe. You know, lead the other Alliance and was a super-Q alongside your Nat for a while? Yeah, her. Waitaminute."

He turned to Sarah. "What happened to you to end up here?"

Sarah replied. "Nat turned traitor. Don't worry though, we have plans for--"

MU Nat motioned for her to stop talking, which she did. He then pressed a button on his desk, activating a hologram of a Terran Galaxy X class dreadnought, named the I.S.S. Sally. One would note that most of the windows had been removed, and that there were extra weapons all over it's hull and saucer. It was a beast, clearly.

"Fleet Admiral Anna Walker's home and flagship, the I.S.S. Sally. She never leaves the ship, and the vessel is crewed entirely by androids and holograms. Only a few select captains and lower ranking admirals under her authority can ever come on board, and the ever so lovable Captain Krystal Jade is one of them. Hence why we took you; you'll be replacing her so that you can conveniently capture Captain Nat and Commander Sarah here, and then bring them onto the Sally as "Anna's new prisoners" only for you to have Sarah here switch places with Anna without a single person or thing knowing about it."

Captain Nat's jaw dropped. "How? What happens to me and Krystal afterwards?"

Mirror Nat chuckled. "Our Sarah will somehow discover that Krystal was a traitor and take her prisoner, while imprisoning you and Anna, telling her androids and such that Anna would lie about which Sarah she is, and the androids will probably listen. After that, I dunno. Ask Sarah."

Captain Nat turned to Sarah. She replied, "don't worry, I'll let you all go later after we take over Krystal's universe's Andromeda Galaxy."

Captain Nat's jaw dropped further. He would reply now, but he figured Krystal would have something to say by now.
