Romulan and Reman BOFFs in AoY

In the patch notes for AoY (and for the obligatory immediate follow-up patch), the missing DOFF missions to recruit Romulan and Reman BOFFs are no longer mentioned as known issues, HOWEVER they also are not listed as fixed.

I see four possible explanations, and am wondering which is the truth:
1) The missions ARE fixed, and the hard-working Devs forgot to mention it.
2) The missions are NOT fixed, and the overworked Devs forgot to list it under known issues.
3) The missions are NOT fixed, and the cowardly Devs are deliberately not mentioning it, in hopes we will forget it and/or die off.
4) The Devs have all developed amnesia, and don't remember that there ARE Romulans, much less missing DOFF missions concerning us.

I hope it's 1).
I expect it's 2).
I'm afraid it's 3).
And while 4) was meant humourously, it may actually be the case.

It would be really nice if a Dev let us know, whatever the case is.

Failing that, has anyone seen a BOFF recruitment mission in NRC since AoY came out? I haven't.

Im fairly sure its a 3, we're not feds, so they dont g.a.f.

While I'd expect them not to g.a.f., because it was listed as an issue, I suspect it is likely 2. I mean it's not like the ability to recruit for your faction, is more important than a few fanboys having their precious techicolor aesthetic. lololololololol

I can see I was not the only one that noticed that. It's probably 3 or 4. They looked, saw it took more than 5 seconds of work, and decided to not bother with it.

Well, it's definitely not fixed.

And people have asked on numerous occasion and been met with utter silence.

Personally, I think they just decided it effects Romulans so they just don't care. All of the attention is on Fed factions only.

I'm starting to wonder if we just agree to pay more money as Romulans then maybe they'll pay more attention to our problems. By god we might even be a full-fledged faction one of these years.

We should start collecting a tithe every month.

i play this game since Delta rising, never had misson to recruit Romulan BOFF's....

What i need to lvl?

They are only found in the area near New Romulus and Azure Nebula, they can sometimes pop up IN New Romulus Command

However as as been discussed in this thread, they have been broken for ages, and likely abandoned.

◦Resolved an issue that caused the "Recruit Romulan/Reman Bridge Officer" assignments to not appear.
◦These can now appear as rare or ultra-rare assignments at New Romulus Command for Romulan captains.

Anyone found any yet? It was working on Tribble, but then again, so were kits. I found the assignments under Operations department when I last tried on Tribble.

Yes. On my KDF-allied main, I found one for a Romulan Tactical BOFF from my Operations Department Head while in New Romulus Command. On my FED-allied alt, I found one for a Romulan Engineer BOFF under the regular local tab while in New Romulus Command. Check both local and Operations.

It's probably just a coincidence that both my characters found missions to recruit officers of their own classes (my Tac got the Tac mission, and my Eng got the Eng mission).

Haven't seen a Reman mission yet, but that's to be expected. The Romulan missions are Rare, the Reman ones are Ultra-Rare, IIRC.

Since the fix I only found rom boff missions on New romulus command. Both were in my Operation department.

I've gotten a fair bit in space, in the old Tua Dewa blocks: one left from the square that New Romulus is in, then all the way to the far right edge in that row. I think I've gotten at least one Rom assignment from each of those blocks across two characters, though, I haven't seen a Reman one yet. These are also typically under Operations department, but not always. Do note that you don't need to check your Personal tab for them, as the fix eliminates them from appearing there.
