Getting back to ESD 23c a Temporal Captains Table

Given it seemed a reasonably fleshed out environment, its a shame that 23c ESD has no more long term use after temporal missions of TOS and wham bham gone when in 25c. Could a Temporal Gateway be added in the same was as theres the subscribers starbase, add banking, mail and exchange and I think its a winner.

Maybe even add this as a subscriber only option not that I see many at the subscriber starbase.

Hi Doogie, I do know but if popping back to it as a side base ala Captains Base then it eould the kinda facility more convienant to have on hand :)

I must admit, I too was saddened to find we couldn't revisit the 23rd century starbase after entering the 25th century. Especially since it had vendors selling TOS weapons and boff powers etc up to the higher levels yet whilst you're there you can't afford any of it really and you have no idea what sort of setup you're going to want to have yet. Would have been nice to let us go back there.

It makes sense we cant return to that period's base. We are technically dead at that time according to history per Daniel.

Were time travellers we can go back to do a mission on a Romulan base, and I was referencing the idea to have it still avaliable in the same way as the Subsriber starbase can be visited by the glowey white nebula in Earth Orbit. So maybe add an Orange time traveller nebula and in the same way, but to 23c.

As posted above it seems odd that it has higher level equipment when not at a level to get it and then no way back. Seems limited use for a ground map thats had a fair bit of development done on it, and get to meet the legendary crew.

Also, it has boff for sell that cost dil. which we shouldn't be able to have enough of unless we use the dil exchange.

Hi Doogie, also a good point, so a almost kitted out Starbase sans Mail, Bank, Exchange and no way back does seem odd...

I also rather liked the old style galaxy map, wish could have a choice between that and the 25th version.

Do like I will do, have a toon placed on 23c ESD in case I want to pass any equipment over. That is all you can pass over since bo's and bo 23c manuals are character bound.

    I support this idea.

It would be a shame to waste the assets and work that's already been put into 23c ESD and we really didn't spend enough time there to fully appreciate it.

I don't really fancy the idea of a 23c toon quartermaster seems a waste, I appreciatte at the moment thats the only option.....

Speaking as someone who ended up doing the 23c missions out of order, I have several unfinished ones, and it's a simple matter of paying the transwarp fee to go back to 23c space and ESD.

I have no idea if it's intentional, but it couldn't be much easier. ;) Unless I'm mistaken, I didn't see any Andorian Female Engineering officer in the 25c store, so I'm back to 23c to pick up one.

Getting back is a little harder if like me you're out of order. Welcome to Earth Spacedock doesn't let you transwarp. Of the Available Missions, only Asteroid Mining does. It's very possible some people would need GM help if they didn't want to redo Caleb IV.

So there's your solution for now, use transwarp features to jump between maps. Cost is 20k. Trigger the missions from the Episodes and Available tabs. While the event is going on (one more day), transwarping to Risa is free. it's in the Overview tab.

(Also like to take this moment and say the new configurable BOFF system is Bee-yOutiFFul, much like the configurable kits. Though my homely old BOFFs are sad to get fired.)

you can transfer dilithium from character to character if you know how to do it and no it is not an exploit been doing it for years now since dilithium hit the game.
